We are looking for an experienced Business Intelligence Manager to lead and develop a function that supports our charity in making decisions based on data and insight. To establish a business intelligence centre of excellence, championing best practices, standardisation and data governance.

You will be leading and managing our Business Intelligence Team, including operational planning and budgeting. Helping to develop and deliver an annual operating plan that aligns with, and supports our strategic objectives. Working with our Senior Executive Team to ensure that our internal stakeholders are informed of the reach and impact of our work, and methods of improvement. You will be building excellent working relationships with all our stakeholders both internal and external.

As a member of the Management Development Forum, you will be expected to provide leadership across the organisation, including liaising with the Senior Leadership Team and deputising for the Head of Operations as required.

About the role

As the Area Service Manager, you will be accountable for ensuring our contracts with partners and/or commissioners deliver to the highest standards, in a way that creates maximum impact.

The successful candidate will play a key part in delivering Sense’s strategy to reach 50,000 people with complex disabilities by 2026. Over 3000 children in the UK need adoption each year because they cannot remain at home or with family members. The CVAA Practice Programme delivers 30 or more online courses each year to those working in the sector, primarily social workers. The programme has developed a strong reputation for attracting a range of subject experts to deliver cost effective, engaging and useful training. The full programme is listed on the CVAA UK website and inlcudes topics such as LGBTQ+ parenting; therapy for children; identity formation; racism and anti-racism; parenting courses; theraplay and many more.

Due to a restructure of the team, we are now looking for a Training Manager who can oversee the administration and delivery of the programme. Initially fixed term, it is anticipated that this post will become permanent. We are keen to have someone joiun us as soon as possible.

The Training Manager will work with the Head of Practice Development to ensure that the courses are full, supported, delivered effectively and evaluated. Part of the role will also be to source new trainers and support the creation of the programme into 2025.

The CVAA team work remotely across the UK so location of the postholder is not a barrier to recruitment as long as long as they can travel occasionally and come into London for team days. The team is small, diverse and dynamic. Experience of project management or delivery of training or events is more important than knowledge of adoption or children's social care. Your new role
The Corporate Fundraising Manager role is instrumental in driving the charities' mission forward by creating, managing and expanding their portfolio of corporate partnerships. About the role:

The MARAC Coordinator will coordinate, administer, and manage the operation of the MARAC. One of the main purposes of the role is to bring together agencies to ensure that local systems are truly keeping survivors safe, holding perpetrators to account, and preventing domestic abuse. A key principle of the post is respecting the independence of each agency and ensuring the MARAC’s key principles are survivor’s and children’s safety, offender accountability and giving a clear message that domestic abuse is s crime that will not be tolerated. The post holder will be located in Brent, and will meet MARAC partners in a variety of settings in the community. The post holder will also spend time raising awareness of the service, domestic abuse, and the MARAC in addition to training agencies on the MARAC and inducting new MARAC representatives on the MARAC.

The post holder will have an excellent understanding of domestic abuse and its effects on women and children, of best practice in supporting survivors of domestic abuse, and of the MARAC. The post holder will also have a good understanding of managing a project.

To be successful as the MARAC Co-ordinator you will need the below experience and skills:

Excellent understanding of domestic abuse and its effects on women and children, of best practice in supporting survivors of domestic abuse, and of the MARAC.

Thorough knowledge of safeguarding practice, procedures and legislation

A good understanding of the importance of confidentiality and anti-discriminatory practice, safe practice and health and safety procedures

Experience of risk and needs assessment, safety and support planning, and crisis planning and successfully managing high numbers of referrals

A clear understanding of the coordinated community response to domestic violence and abuse, how it relates to MARAC in particular, and experience of the purpose and workings of MARAC 

Experience of supervision/coaching of staff or volunteers, of managing performance and achieving targets through review of individual and team practice

Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills; including report writing, data collection and monitoring

Good understanding of managing a project

Age UK are recruiting for a Senior Influencing Project Manager on a fixed term 12 month contract.

We will be developing a number of research, policy and practice development projects in support of our new strategy. These include the 'extremely vulnerable people' project and a new partnership researching older people's experiences pre and post an urgent episode of care or emergency hospital admission.

This exciting opportunity will also take on responsibility for managing our response to the Pandemic Inquiry and relationship with the Health and Wellbeing Alliance. This is initially a 12-month role, with the possibility of extending to 24 months depending on project funding.

The successful Senior Strategic Influencing Manager will take the lead in designing and delivering these complex projects, including management of external partners, consultants or agencies and internal teams as required. The role will work closely with the Policy Lead, Clinical Lead and Head of Health Influencing to coordinate and drive delivery of the organisation's goals and strategic priorities across health and care.

This hybrid role, known as a Senior Strategic Project Manager within the charity, offers flexible working between home and a central London co-working hub. Occasional travel may also be required to attend meetings, workshops etc.

• Good oral advocacy skills and ability to build influential relationships with senior stakeholders, with the ability to present complex issues in a persuasive, accessible style to a range of audiences and in different settings (meetings, speeches, media etc.).
• Experience of policy analysis and advocacy at a senior level, including managing relationships with funders, external stakeholders and lead officials.
• Ability to assimilate new policy issues/areas quickly, make connections between different policy areas, and initiate and frame new policy agendas.
• Excellent skills in policy analysis with a focus on robust evidence, understanding political and policy contexts, and finding solutions.
