Your role will be key to all of these - delivering email and paid marketing that feels personal to each supporter and lands when and where they want to see it. As part of our Digital Team and our wider Marketing and Communications Team, you will deliver innovative campaigns and projects that make a real difference.
This role is perfect for a hands-on digital marketer who has the technical skills and experience to lead on two key areas of our digital marketing; email marketing and paid digital advertising and measure their effectiveness.
This role will be crucial for ensuring our current community receives relevant, engaging communications via email and cutting through the noise with paid digital advertising to reach new audiences.

We are looking for a Senior Digital Officer to join our ambitious and growing type 1 diabetes charity, JDRF, as part of the digital and marketing team.

· Manage the day-to-day relationships with associated external suppliers, such as printers, freelancers, photographers, and creative agencies on allocated projects.
· Manage the Marketing Officer, supporting them to deliver their objectives and ensuring their development.
Person Specification:
· Creating marketing strategies for individual campaigns or products, including the testing of new tactics or ideas.
· Proficiency in executing end to end multi-channel marketing campaigns or projects from brief to delivery.
· Excellent written and oral skills including strong content production and brief writing skills.
· Working across multiple teams, with a range of internal and external stakeholders of all levels.

This is an incredibly exciting and unique opportunity to own and develop the campaign communications strategy. About you
You're a senior communications professional with longstanding experience of fundraising and reputation-raising campaigns.
You get under the skin of a campaign when it comes to brand, marketing collateral and complex stakeholder relations.
You've got exceptional presentation and influencing skills and are adept at gaining the consensus needed to drive projects forward in large, complex organisations.
Ideally, you'll already have experience of fundraising and working on engagement campaigns with donors and philanthropists, or at least be able to demonstrate relevant transferable skills around income generation and behaviour-change campaigns with compelling success stories.

We need a new Director of Communications. You’ll be responsible for helping us communicate the Gospel and the great work we do in our communities, and telling the good news stories that encourage and inspire us as we embark on our strategy to deliver the Diocesan vision to “bless the 1.5 million people” in our diocese who currently have no meaningful connection with our worshipping communities. We need someone who can catalyse everyone in the diocese to be better communicators.
The successful candidate will have a wide-ranging experience of communication matters with the ability to promote our work in a positive and strategic manner, and manage media relations proactively and effectively.
The post is based at Church House, Daresbury, with some travel around the Diocese and the option for hybrid working with up to 40% working from home. A full driving licence and access to a car is essential.
Salary: £51,515 - £55,692 per annum, dependent upon skills and experience.

The role
Main areas of responsibility
This is a key senior role within the Fundraising Directorate, collaborating closely with the Senior Corporate Manager – New Business the Fundraising Leadership Team to grow income and awareness from corporate sources.
The key focus of the role will be:
- Successfully lead the Corporate Partnerships account team to develop and deliver on our ambitious growth strategy across existing partnerships.
- Working collaboratively with the Senior Corporate Manager – New Business to deliver a seamless strategy, focussing on the transition of partners through business planning and maximising lifetime value.
- Being accountable for excellent stewardship and account growth plans specifically deepening of engagement to maximise ROI and longer term strategic partnerships.
- Using data, insight and innovation techniques to implement diversify income streams from existing partners.
- An active member of the Fundraising Leadership Team, managing key cross organisational projects on behalf of the whole fundraising directorate.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team to maximise immediate potential with existing partners and generate a more diverse portfolio of strategic and sustained income over time.
- Maintain oversight of our partnerships portfolio and pipeline and work with the Senior Corporate Manager – New Business to ensure a cohesive and collaborative transition of new partners into account management.
- Manage forecasting and expenditure for the Corporate Partnerships team providing updates, mitigation plans and horizon scanning for income opportunities. .
- Lead the team to develop and deliver cultivation and stewardship programmes for partners with clear growth targets
- Lead Corporate Fundraising representation across the organisation, to deliver projects and build new opportunities to help the FareShare deliver on its strategy.
- Establish effective and impactful relationships with current partners to ensure appropriate relationships are in place and effectively managed at all levels.
- Oversee account allocation across the team to maximise account growth and optimise return on investment.
- In collaboration with FareShare’s Operations Team ensure accurate monitoring and project progress on restricted funding.
- Provide inspiring and motivating leadership and coaching of direct line reports
- Work with the Senior Managers across fundraising to maximise cross selling opportunities, from employees to Major Donor prospects.
- Develop, monitor and maintain systems and processes including Salesforce database, financial accounting, account management plans, contracts and due diligence

Senior Media and Campaign Manager
Contract: Fixed term contract for approximately seven months maternity leave cover. With either part time of 4 days (28 hours) per week or full time (35 hours per week) options available.
Ideal start date: 24 June 2024 to provide up to two weeks hand over with the current post holder.

You'll need to be decisive, and able to explain complex decisions to journalists and senior management. As well as strong media relations skills, we're looking for someone with a wider understanding of the full communications and marketing mix, and who will have some oversight and strategic control of the charity's digital channels.

The Role
