This dynamic role will provide valuable support across all areas of our Policy & Communications Directorate including supporting with policy and public affairs activity, marketing and media activity, and event coordination to advance NYA’s mission.

Key Responsibilities:
Policy and Public Affairs Support:

- Research policy developments and political changes.
- Monitor relevant parliamentary activities and government announcements.
- Compile and analyse data for policy briefs and reports.
- Assist in preparing policy briefings, research summaries, and stakeholder communications.
- Support youth participation activities.

Communications and Marketing Support:

- Draft and edit reports, blogs, social media posts, and web content.
- Handle media requests, research journalists, and draft press releases.
- Monitor social media and create content for awareness campaigns.
- Assist with newsletter and website content and coordinate guest bloggers.

Event & General Support:

- Organise and coordinate meetings, webinars, roundtables, and political conference activities.
- Plan and execute large events, including registration and materials preparation.
- Represent the teams at internal and external meetings.

As Senior Marketing Business Partner your role will be to support the development, delivery and optimisation of the paid marketing strategy across a variety of campaigns at a leading Children’s Charity in the UK. As digital content officer, you’ll design, edit and optimise our web content to help our users feel empowered throughout their breast cancer experience.

What you’ll do

Reporting to the Head of Policy and Public Affairs, as Media and Campaigns Manager you will create campaigns, partnerships and content that have innovation at their heart and support the organisation's advocacy goals. Salary: £30,961 plus Regional Weighting (£4,454 in London). All staff also receive £600 per year work from home allowance.

• Previous experience within a media and campaigning role
• Ability to create multi-channel integrated campaigns with a strong eye for developing content that supports calls for action
• Experience of delivering media strategies that deliver news and features coverage
• Ideally some understanding of the social welfare advice sector
• Well-developed stakeholder relationship management experience, including of nurturing positive relationships with journalists, and of working in partnership to deliver joint campaigns
• Experience of media communication planning, monitoring and evaluations in order to support decision making and improve engagement and impact

The Role

As Philanthropy Manager, you will be contributing towards the ambitious plans to further increase reach and impact over the next three years. This role presents an opportunity to manage and grow the philanthropic income, including leading on the development of the Major Donor programme/s.

Working within the High-Value Engagement Team, you will build relationships with loyal and prospective donors, raising vital funds to power the Association’s work to support people affected by stroke.

Key responsibilities will include:

· Lead the development of the philanthropic programme/s, using knowledge of sectoral trends and best-practice acquisition, cultivation, and stewardship strategies to reach personal and collective financial targets.

· Submit proposals in order to secure and renew income from major donors.

· Provide the necessary financial information to the Head of Philanthropy and Trusts so that he can prepare budgets and forecasts in a timely manner.

About You

Reporting into the Head of Philanthropy and Trusts – we are looking for someone with an eye for detail and the ability to prioritise a diverse workload. You will have:

· Experience of philanthropic fundraising for a charitable organisation or equivalent, with a track record of securing £50k+ donations.

Myaware is the only charity in the UK dedicated solely to the care and support of people living with myasthenia.

· Networking across the sector and raising the profile of the charity and people living with myasthenia across the nations where Myaware operates,
