What you’ll do

• Provide a first-class copywriting service, developing high-quality written content for use across multiple channels and formats.
• Develop messaging and creative copy for awareness and fundraising campaigns, products and assets.
• Work on publications such as our Annual Report and Impact Report.
• Check and edit external-facing content to make sure that it’s well-written, our brand messaging and tone of voice are reflected, and it’s appropriate for the audience and channel.
• Support the continued use of our brand tone of voice, written brand guidelines and editorial guidelines, and make sure they are kept up to date.
• Run tone of voice training for staff to improve copywriting skills across the charity.

About the role

Reporting in to the Partnership & Strategy Lead, the Contracts and Portfolio Manager provides strategic oversight and management of Christian Aid’s restricted funding portfolio across the Multi-Country Cluster (MCC).

The post-holder will ensure effective delivery, compliance, and reporting for donor-funded programmes while contributing to Christian Aid’s organisational values and goals, and will play a key role in building relationships with donors, ensuring contract compliance, and supporting programme teams and partners in delivering high-quality programmes aligned with organisational values and goals, while fostering a mindset of connection and enhancing collaboration. 

The role is critical for ensuring that each programme achieves an integrated total economy approach, with all work (donor funded or not) fitting into the programme focus and partnerships driven new model.

Some of the main responsibilities of the role of Contracts and Portfolio Manager include:

• Lead the management and oversight of restricted programme delivery across the MCC aligning with organisational values and goals, while ensuring complementarity with unrestricted initiatives.
• Provide management oversight for effective contract management and compliance for all donor contracts within the MCC restricted income portfolio, to ensure maximum impact.
• Develop and maintain relationships with external donor contacts as the main point of contact for Christian Aid to foster a mindset of connection.
• Oversee donor-funded programme expenditure budgets and appeal funds, advising the MCC SLT to ensure teams have what they need to deliver donor funded work, e.g. correct staffing in place to ensure regular reviews and corrective action taken as needed.
• Implement a robust donor portfolio risk management framework and support audits to ensure consistent high-quality work is delivered, and ensures the donor portfolio is strategic and delivers on strategic focus and model.
• Work closely with MEAL colleagues to ensure donor reporting obligations are met across the MCC contract portfolio, ensuring consistency of delivery and alignment with decolonised MEAL approaches.
• Foster a team mindset by engaging in a dynamic way across the cluster, and by providing coaching, guidance, and professional development opportunities for the Restricted Funding Officer.
• Collaborate with internal teams such as MEAL, Finance, Advocacy, and Operations to ensure integrated programming approaches and foster a mindset of connection.

• Degree or equivalent qualification in business, economics, international development, or a related discipline.
• Substantial experience managing multi-million-pound donor-funded programmes across multiple geographies, in collaboration with key MCC staff.

London Support Programme - Prison Caseworker

Location: This programme is currently delivered at HMP Downview and HMP High Down. Future delivery is anticipated at HMP Standford Hill, HMP Ford, and/or HMP Coldingley. Administrative tasks may be carried out remotely from home, or from our London office, near Vauxhall.

Contract: 12 months, with the possibility of a permanent position thereafter, subject to funding availability

Role summary

The London Support Programme (LSP) is a pilot service delivered by the Hardman Trust, providing pre- and post-release support to people on long sentences who are returning to London. This first year of delivery has enabled us to begin offering support, and we are now refining the programme for its next stage.

We are recruiting two part-time, Prison Caseworkers to deliver frontline support, ensuring that people serving long sentences continue to receive consistent, personalised help in preparing for release and rebuilding their lives.

As a Prison Caseworker, you will provide one-to-one, person-centred support focused on wellbeing, confidence-building, and preparation for life after release.
You will support people to set meaningful goals, connect with services, and problem-solve challenges along the way.

The role involves building trusting relationships, promoting the programme across the prison, keeping accurate records, and contributing to the continued development of this pilot into a sustainable, long-term service.

You will be managed and supported by the Head of Service Delivery.

Core responsibilities

• One-to-one support delivery – Provide tailored support to people in prison signed up to the LSP, including initial support planning, goal-setting, problem-solving and referrals to both internal (e.g. Grants, Research Volunteers, Penfriends) and external services.

• Remote support – Provide light-touch support to LSP participants released from prison, during their initial weeks of resettlement, using telephone/video calls, and email to check in, offer guidance, and help address early challenges.

• Service promotion – Actively promote the LSP within pilot and potential partner prisons to increase sign-ups and engagement.

• Administration – Keep accurate, timely records of support activities and outcomes using Salesforce and NOMIS systems.

• Service development – Support the Head of Service Delivery by contributing learning and feedback from frontline delivery, to inform the ongoing refinement of the programme model and resources.

• Collaboration & team contribution - Work closely with colleagues to promote products and services, gather and analyse user feedback, and ensure continuous improvement. Contribute to organisational reporting, monitoring, and evaluation.

• General - Participate in regular one-to-ones, contributing to the identification of objectives and professional development goals. Founded in 2014 by actors Sarah Parish MBE and Jim Murray MBE in memory of their first daughter Ella-Jayne, the charity has rebranded from The Murray Parish Trust to Imagine This in 2025. There are one million children in the UK facing life-limiting, life-threatening, and serious chronic conditions. These children are at much higher risk of long-term mental health difficulties that can become more complex and difficult to treat, on top of living with often complex medical needs. Imagine This provides imaginative, innovative and empowering projects to help them navigate their journey with connection, resilience and hope. Our vision is to reach every seriously ill child, and their families, across the UK by 2035, delivering diverse and impactful projects in hospitals, hospices and community settings.

This role will be responsible for the development and delivery of public fundraising and engagement activities, building new and existing relationships with community, individual and business supporters. You will be the first point of contact for the charity, providing exceptional administration and an outstanding supporter experience. Engagement

Data/administration

• Use data insight to prepare reports and analyse performance to identify trends and opportunities.
• Monitor/evaluate income and KPIs making recommendations for remedial action or growth opportunities.

Galapagos Conservation Trust (GCT) is looking for an Operations & Finance Officer to join our busy, friendly team in London. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will have an essential and diverse role supporting the operations and administration of a ~£1.8m charity, which has ambitions to grow. You will support the Finance Director through payment processing, CRM management, IT management and HR support/ ensuring team well-being. The evaluation team works with schools and organisations, analysing the impact of programmes and interventions to help them do more of what works and less of what doesn’t.

The Opportunity

The Partnerships Director role is a new opportunity working across ImpactEd Evaluation. As Partnerships Director, you will be a senior leader of the evaluation practice and a statutory director on our Practice Board. Reflecting this, you will have a key role in the success of the practice, both commercially and in terms of social impact, and help to shape and deliver the strategy for ImpactEd Evaluation as a practice within ImpactEd Group, reporting to the Managing Director.

The role will focus on partnerships and business development, ensuring that ImpactEd Evaluation is positioned well as first port of call for schools and social purpose organisations. You will lead a number of sales and marketing campaigns, develop key propositions for our partners, scan and respond to relevant tenders and work closely with a team of evaluation experts to ensure we are able to continue to bring accessible expertise to our work and partners. You will also manage a small team, with two direct reports.

The role would be ideal for a candidate with deep understanding of the schools and MAT space, a track record in business development, and the ambition to shape the direction of a growing social enterprise.

• Team leadership & mentorship: Line-manage two Project Managers, fostering a supportive environment and prioritizing their development. Provide direct mentorship to a designated Project Manager as part of Magic Me's internal succession plan for the SPM role.

• Project practice & frameworks: Take responsibility for implementing effective ways of working for the Programme Team. Oversee project evaluation and ensure evaluation practice adheres to the ACE Impact & Insight framework.

These 2 posts are part of a partnership between local voluntary sector organisations and South West London and St George’s Mental Health Trust. Both posts focus on offering a range of emotional, social and practical wellbeing support to young adults aged 18-25. These posts do not require a formal mental health qualification. The Peer Support Worker posts are designated for those with their own lived experience of mental health challenges who have reached a point in their recovery where they feel ready to support others on their mental health journey.  

For these roles you need to have an open and flexible attitude; an understanding of mental health; excellent engagement skills and a passion for working with young people. All posts are full-time office based and will require flexible working across service areas and interventions and will involve some regular evening and/or weekend work to meet the needs of young people. 

These posts offer an excellent opportunity to build skills and experience in the mental health field.
