About the role
As digital content officer, you’ll design, edit and optimise our web content to help our users feel empowered throughout their breast cancer experience.
From personal stories and blogs to landing pages and webforms, you’ll support teams across the charity and lead the content creation for some of our key projects and campaigns.
You’ll know content design, search engine optimisation (SEO), user experience (UX) and accessibility best practices like the back of your hand and be able to advise teams on the correct approach for their pages. And with support from our digital analytics manager, you’ll be able to advise teams on how to improve their content to drive conversions.
Not only will you be able to take the lead, but you’ll also be a team player. You’ll be able to take direction from the digital content manager on bigger projects and collaborate with other members of your team.
You’ll join the team at an exciting time as we’re amid our digital transformation project. You’ll play a key role in moving our content from the old to the new website. You’ll also help set the standard of content on the new website by training teams on new processes on the new CMS and coaching them on web best practices.
This role is a 12 month fixed-term contract.
About you
A successful candidate will have a strong background in digital and experience in creating web content that packs a punch. You’ll have a can-do attitude, a methodical approach to your work and enjoy creating content.
You’ll have a comprehensive understanding of content design, accessibility, SEO and UX principles. And know how to take this knowledge and use it to create engaging content that supports our user's and charity’s needs.

The Content Manager will be responsible for managing the Content Team within the Marketing & Communications Department, overseeing delivery of the content framework, using evaluation and measurement to enable strategic and creative development so Battersea’s content output achieves brand, marketing and organisational objectives.
Overall objectives of this role:
• Oversee strategic delivery against the content framework, supporting the team in effective implementation and measurement

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled digital content creator who thrives in a fast-paced creative environment. The Digital Content and Communications Officer (DCCO) reports to the Digital Communications Manager and has responsibility for the SAT-7 UK website, digital marketing and social media.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Website: Developing and updating SAT-7’s websites as inspiring platforms to raise profile, income and engagement.
Emails: Work with colleagues in the Communications Team and across the organisation to build, test and send responsive email templates for all SAT-7 UK’s email requirements (meeting SAT-7’s brand guidelines and conforming to industry standards). Use email marketing tool DotDigital to develop automated communications that strengthen supporter engagement and convert recipients into committed donors.
Content: Deliver engaging and inspiring rich media content across a range of digital channels, including web, email, podcasts, social media and other digital marketing platforms.
Social Media: Work closely with other team members to deliver strong social media content and engagement across various platforms, chiefly Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube, LinkedIn.
Digital Marketing: Support the digital marketing of SAT-7 resources and campaigns through social media advertising, external agencies and other channels as required, to engage more deeply with existing supporters and donors, raise profile, acquire new supporters and to raise funds for SAT-7 UK.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- In all communication ensure consistent messaging, branding and tone of voice for the intended audience and that content conforms to the security and style guides.

The Digital Content Manager role sits in the Knowledge Dissemination Department of the Schools Division. The successful candidate will be skilled at writing and editing engaging digital content and have experience of using analytics to inform strategy development. Hours: Full-time (35 hours per week): usual working hours are Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00. A minimum of 28 hours will be considered. Flexible working is possible.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a full time, permanent Multimedia Content Producer to join the Marketing Communications team at SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity. This role will support the Senior Creative Lead & Design Manager and Head of Marketing & Brand to create, commission and produce a wide variety of creative marketing materials, focusing on photography and video assets.
You will work across all areas of SSAFA, so your creative talents will help raise awareness of crucial services, recruit volunteers, support fundraising initiatives and promote understanding of SSAFA’s work, this will allow you the ability to flex your content production skills to different audience types and a wide range of outputs. You will work from creative concept to asset completion and be able to lead on the development of our video strategy and planning. This is a new role within the organisation so you will have the exciting opportunity to shape the future direction of multimedia content, in particular focusing on video content strategy.
You will have access to the full Adobe Creative Cloud suite of software, and actively encouraged to develop your skills and proficiency in areas you may not have experienced, some skill in using other Adobe products such as InDesign is desirable, but not essential.

About you
To hit the ground running and carry out this role successfully you will have:
- A portfolio of video or photographic projects demonstrating; creative concept development, collaboration others/colleagues to produce creative assets.
- Demonstratable experience of planning and managing a pipeline of photo, video or audio assets, and working collaboratively and effectively to achieve engaging content that supports SSAFA achieving its KPIs.
- Demonstrable experience of organising a photo/video shoot, including briefing photographers, videographers or others.
- Demonstrable experience of creating compelling multimedia content that drives an emotional connection with the audience. You may have undertaken parts of this process such as crafting a storyboard and briefing the delivery, or you may have taken video footage to edit varying assets.
- Experience working with a marketing or communications team to support the creation and delivery of digital assets for active TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter social media accounts, including knowledge of different digital and social media advertising format would be advantageous.
- Excellent skills in Premiere Pro (or similar)
- Some skill in other creative tools such as Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. would be advantageous.
- Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines as needed.
- Experience of working in a commercial, public or not-for-profit organisation would be beneficial.

The Communications department at Alzheimer’s Research UK informs, inspires and engages the public about dementia and the progress being made in research. This role sits within the Campaigns & Projects team, one of several specialist teams in the wider department.
The Communications and Content Officer will play a vital role in shaping and growing strategically important communications projects that aim to build understanding of dementia and support for research.
They will be responsible for maximising the impact of Alzheimer’s Research UK’s external news content and other digital comms activity to engage existing supporters and attract new ones. They will also assist managers across the Communications department in measuring the impact of communications activities.

Main duties and responsibilities of the role:

Additional Information:

The Role
As a Marketing Officer (copywriting and content) you will build brand awareness and help to ensure the Yorkshire Cancer Research brand is accurately and consistently presented at all times.
Supporting the the Marketing Manager you will ensure consistency in brand messaging, tone of voice and visual brand representation. You will extend the charity’s reach across Yorkshire by supporting the delivery of integrated marketing and fundraising campaigns. Develop high-quality, supporter-focused written marketing communications for a broad range of channels and supporter touchpoints. About The Role
This is an exciting role, which will support the development, and maintenance of a new Knowledge Centre and content for our training and learning activities.
