About the Role
This is a key supporter-facing role where you will:

Be the friendly first point of contact for members and prospective members via phone, email, and other channels.

About You

Westway Trust is seeking an enthusiastic part time Gardener who will take immense pride in the maintenance and development of the grounds and gardens across the Trust's 23 acres of land. You will be an effective, efficient and safety conscious gardener who ultimately will ensure the Trust's grounds and gardens and green spaces are always kept healthy and beautiful. This role will be critical to ensuring management of a vibrant, diverse and thriving estate.
Key responsibilities of the role include but not limited to:
- Gardening duties will include: Planting, monitoring the health of all plants and green spaces, watering and feeding plants, pruning trees and shrubs, fertilising and mowing lawns, weeding, dealing with pests and diseases, and keeping green spaces and walkways clean and clear of debris and litter / waste.
- Working as part of the Grounds and Gardens team to maintain and improve soft and hard landscaping on Trust land as directed.
- Assisting in keeping Westway Trust’s land clean and tidy and reporting any damage.
- Co-operating with the Facilities Team, Events Team and other Westway Staff to deliver support to events as part of the wider organisation.
- Welcoming volunteers and community groups onto the estate to learn from the Grounds and Gardens team.
- Ensuring all relevant Health and Safety standards are adhered to with regards to personal safety, and the safety of members of the public using the gardens.
- Being responsible for the proper use, maintenance and safe storage of all plant, machinery, tools and equipment such as leaf blowers, strimmers, hedgecutters, graffiti removal equipment and mowers.
- Undertake planned and unplanned garden maintenance work on Trust grounds as directed.

Job purpose
The Executive and Operations Coordinator provides essential administrative, operational, and executive support to enhance the effectiveness of Toynbee Hall’s Advice Services directorate. This role combines high-level executive assistance including managing the diaries of the Managing Director and Deputy Director of Advice Services, coordinating communications, and preparing for meetings with operational support across finance, HR, onboarding, and general administration. Working closely with the finance team, HR, and advice teams, the Executive and Operations Support Officer raises and tracks purchase orders, processes invoice, reconciles credit cards, and ensures contracts and approvals are completed on time. They also provide flexible support across the directorate, assisting with logistics, meeting documentation, and crossteam coordination as needed. About this key role
As our Financial Wellbeing Coach, you will provide person-centred support to a caseload of service users who will either be serving community sentences or have been released from prison. This will involve undertaking assessment and action planning with individual service users and creating a safe and trusting environment, using trauma-informed practice to successfully facilitate a supportive and constructive relationship with service users.

The service will provide a programme of support for families including face-to-face befriending in the home and community, community group activities, support by phone and video as well as signposting activities. You will lead a small team of peer volunteers working and travelling across Doncaster. The service will require the use of simple evaluation tools and the collection of impact data for reporting purposes.
The successful candidate must have experience of engaging in risk reduction activities associated with conflict and violence alongside experience of working with parents within communities. You must be able to work respectfully with empathy and sensitivity. Experience in safeguarding issues and working with a diverse range of clients including isolated individuals and communities are essential.

Job Title: Children and Family Worker
Location: Based on site in West London (This location is hidden due to the sensitive nature of the service) Unfortunately this service does not have step free access.

Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week on a rolling rota Monday to Friday between 07:30 - 15:30, 09:00 - 17:00 and 11:30 - 19:30 with occasional Saturdays, at least one Saturday every 3 months between 09:00 - 17:00.

Are you passionate about providing safe and stable accommodation to women and children escaping domestic abuse? Wanting to help make a difference and provide specialist support to them to gain greater independence? This might be the role for you.
As a Children and Family worker, you will be based within our Women's Refuge service, supporting women and children up to the age of 15 who have escaped domestic abuse. You will deliver trauma-informed, child and family centred support to promote safety and wellbeing, working collaboratively with mothers to strengthen the parent-child relationship during a time of crisis. You will support with both emotional and practical day-to-day support. This is typically done through key work sessions, risk assessments, and empowerment focused activities.
You will play a vital role in supporting families, being the sole specialist within the service, which gives you autonomy to shape the role based on your expertise and experience. You will lead on child-focused support, as well as working part of the wider team to provide the support to mothers. You will deliver a range of support for children and young people, as well as family and parenting support.
About you
We are looking for someone who has a real passion to support families and children who have experienced domestic abuse. You will have a trauma-informed understanding of domestic abuse and the impact it has on families, and will be able to engage in sensitive conversations, recognising signs on trauma, and being proactive to support families to overcome this. This is a hands-on, active role, ideal for someone who is creative, energetic, and passionate about working directly with families. You will be a team player, able to collaborate and provide support to colleagues as needed.
- A background in working with adults and children, particularly from trauma affected backgrounds
- Experience in supporting mothers in helping children transition to new schools
- Proven ability to plan and deliver engaging play sessions, after school activities, and family events as well as religious and national celebrations
- Confidence in working with children who may have behavioural challenges, being able to signpost to early intervention services
- Experience/ability to support children with special educational needs or additional behavioural needs

About the role
Reporting in to the Global Influencing Lead, the Pan Africa Advocacy and Policy Lead is a key member of the Policy and Influencing division who will oversee the Pan Africa advocacy strategy and coordinate with other Advocacy colleagues to co-design thematic global advocacy strategies, responding to partner voices and priorities and local contexts, aligning with organisational values and goals.
The post-holder will horizon scan the agendas of African institutions to advise and provide policy and advocacy insight to Global Influencing Lead, African MCCs and partners, fostering a team mindset and support a culture of knowledge sharing of ideas and insights at a continental level.
Collaborating with the MCC Policy and Advocacy Leads, and Programme Portfolio Lead, you will build a cohort of national and regional partnerships, including faith partnerships, to ensure that there is an appropriate balance of partners working on short- and medium-term outcomes and systemic change to align with organisational values and goals.
The post-holder will act as a convenor of policy and advocacy spaces by supporting and accompanying national and regional partners to engage in regional and global coalitions and networks enabling collaboration on shared priorities, fostering a mindset of connection.
