The Finance officer is a new role in the Finance team at the British Pharmacological Society. The Finance Officer will work with the Financial Controller to ensure that all aspects of finance are operated effectively and efficiently.
Who would suit this role?
You will have experience working in a finance organisation and/or experience working for membership organisations. You should pay close attention to detail, and the ability to suggest and make improvements to procedures. Additionally, you should be a good team player with strong interpersonal skills.
The team at the Society is fun and dynamic, and this role would be well-suited to someone who thrives on working in a collaborative setting.
This is a hands-on role that will allow the right candidate to have autonomy over their role.

We are recruiting for a Fundraising Officer to join our Fundraising team located within our Marketing team. The role will lead on programme-based funding, through trusts and foundations, and corporates. You will work closely with every team at Scottish Book Trust and across a diverse portfolio of funders and projects. The post-holder will also have the opportunity to learn and engage with our wider fundraising streams, to develop their skills across fundraising as a whole. The Fundraising Officer (FO) will develop and maintain our Trusts and Foundations funding pipeline, which includes multiple five and six figure funders. The FO works closely with every team at Scottish Book Trust to fundraise for a range of literature, arts and education projects. The Role

We are looking for an outstanding individual to join our Development and Alumni Relations team to help guide and deliver ourregular giving and stewardship programmes. The ideal candidate will have experience of running successful major fundraising appeals to large audiences. They will have the ability to draft persuasive and accurate copy to support both fundraising and stewardship literature. The Development and Alumni Relations Office leads the process of generating long-term and consistent voluntary income for Merchant Taylors’ School, and forrunning a comprehensive alumni and parental relations programme.
The Development Manager (Fundraising and Stewardship) will be responsible for planning, managing and having an input to the strategy for a regular giving programme at Merchant Taylors’ School, with a focus on increasing the participation (giving rates) of both our alumni and parental constituencies, as well as donor retention through planning and executing a stewardship programme for benefactors of all levels. About the opportunity
Working closely with the Corporate Partnerships Manager and wider Philanthropy Department, the Corporate Partnerships Coordinator will identify and cultivate fruitful partnerships with a range of small, medium and large businesses.

BeSpace is a small but growing Christian charity with a big vision to see a future where every child has the opportunity to access creative reflective spaces to develop personal tools to pray, reflect and grow spiritually throughout their lives, helping churches, schools and communities to flourish.
We have seen incredible impact through developing prayer spaces in schools across Oxfordshire. About this key role
Our successful candidate will deliver tailored, young person-centred support to those who are not yet ready for education, training, or employment (ETE). You will hold a caseload of up to 15 young people at one time, supporting at least 60 over the course of a year, and work collaboratively with allocated Caseworkers to develop and deliver practical, strengths-based plans that build confidence, motivation, and personal development.
You will identify and help young people access appropriate opportunities, including volunteering, insight days, traineeships, and early work experience and help them overcome barriers that impact their ability to engage with ETE — supporting them to take small, achievable steps towards long-term goals. We will also count on you to build and maintain strong working relationships with local ETE providers, employers, and community partners to source meaningful opportunities, plus ensure you keep accurate and timely records of all work in line with all safeguarding legislation, best practice, and St Giles policies and procedures.
What we are looking for
• Experience independently addressing safeguarding issues with children, young people, and adults at risk of violence or exploitation
• Skilled in conducting thorough risk assessments and identifying the needs of children and young people at risk of significant harm
• Proven ability to work effectively as part of a multi-agency team, collaborating to achieve positive outcomes for young people and their families/carers
• Comprehensive understanding of the complex issues facing young people, such as exploitation, victimisation, offending, gang involvement, unemployment, and trauma
• Awareness of local ETE providers, referral routes, and barriers young people face accessing opportunities
• Excellent interpersonal, relationship-building and communication skills, verbal and written

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as Project Coordinator to coordinate the delivery of a schools’ project in partnership with West Yorkshire Combined Authority.
You will be responsible for ensuring the project achieves its behaviour change aims, as agreed by the funder. This includes but is not limited to recruiting new primary and secondary schools onto the project, keeping active schools engaged, organising the distribution of resources, and supporting project audiences in the implementation of walking interventions.

The Role
This is a pivotal role, reporting directly to the Chief Executive, with accountability for the strategic leadership and operational excellence of our children’s residential care and health services.
You will:
- Provide strategic leadership across seven Ofsted-registered children’s homes, ensuring they consistently deliver safe, high-quality and person-centred care.
- Lead our CQC-registered Health Agency (nursing, therapies, psychology and clinical services), driving integration and innovation to improve outcomes for children.
- Shape and deliver the long-term vision for children’s services, aligned with our organisational strategy and values.
- Ensure regulatory excellence, building strong, transparent relationships with Ofsted, CQC, commissioners and external partners.
- Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead at Executive level, embedding a culture of vigilance, safety, and empowerment across all children’s services.
- Oversee the admissions pipeline, working closely with local authorities and families to ensure St Elizabeth’s continues to meet demand and future need.
- Drive service improvement and transformation, informed by best practice, evidence, and the voices of children, families and staff.
- Inspire, support and develop a multi-disciplinary workforce of over 200 colleagues, ensuring they are equipped, motivated and valued.
About You
You will bring a track record of senior leadership in children’s residential care, health, or social care services, with a strong grasp of regulatory frameworks and quality improvement. Specifically, you will have:
- Significant leadership experience in Ofsted-regulated children’s provision, with demonstrable impact on outcomes and quality.
- A deep understanding of safeguarding legislation and experience of acting as Designated Safeguarding Lead.
- The ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams across care, health, and therapies, and to work in partnership with education colleagues.
- Strong skills in strategic planning, service design, and transformation, with evidence of successful innovation.
- Exceptional communication skills, enabling you to inspire teams, build trust with families, and influence commissioners and regulators.
Desirable:
- Experience of CQC-regulated health or therapy services.
- Familiarity with commissioning, contracting, and funding models.
- A professional qualification in social care, health, education or related discipline.

DARE is the lead organisation in Darwen working with asylum seekers and refugees. We provide assistance across a wide range of issues, including helping asylum seekers through the complexities of the asylum system. We address issues of destitution and assist asylum seekers and newly recognised refugees to access key services including housing, welfare benefits, health, education and employment. Our team works with relevant agencies including the Home Office, refugee organisations, local authorities, legal service providers, housing agencies, health providers, Job Centre Plus and other mainstream service providers. DARE in partnership with ARC in Blackburn, also runs an English Club (volunteer run community English classes) two mornings a week and a weekly social drop-in.
