We help vulnerable young people by giving them the practical and emotional support they need to find a job and live independently. Centrepoint provides homeless young people with accommodation, health support and life skills in order to get them back into education, training and employment. This is an exciting time to join the team as we launch our refreshed 3 year People Strategy. Key to the successful delivery of the strategy is embedding a business partnering model within the organisation. This is a new way of working for the organisation and so we are seeking candidates who are able to drive change and gain buy in from senior and junior stakeholders.

The role with therefore require a resilient, proactive, hands-on HR expert who can manage a varied workload and deliver positive outcomes for colleagues. You will need to be comfortable dealing with and managing change as well as being able to respectfully challenge established practices and build strong relationships built on trust.

You will also need to have a strong ER background as advising and supporting your stakeholders on ER matters will be a key part of this role.

This role offers an opportunity to make a real difference, contributing to people projects that will have a positive influence across Centrepoint and supporting our day to day operations as well as ensuring we deliver our strategic objectives.

Centrepoint operates a hybrid working model. The requirement is a minimum of 50% of your working week. For most full-time colleagues, this means attending the office for five days over a two-week period (e.g., two days one week and three days the next). For colleagues on different contracts (including part-time or compressed contracts) this will be adjusted accordingly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research and identify opportunities for growth, including expansion of existing provisions, acquiring schools/college centres and developing new service models

We are seeking a dedicated and organised administrator to support our membership and workforce initiatives. The sexual and reproductive health (SRH) workforce is comprised of doctors, nurses and allied practitioners who deliver high quality care across the UK and beyond. The CoSRH Membership and Workforce Assistant will support the needs of this workforce, supporting the delivery our Workforce Action Plan in partnership with the Director of Membership, Marketing and Digital and the Vice President of Membership and Workforce. The role:

Administration of the Membership and Workforce Board of Council

• Lead on administration of the Membership and Workforce Board of Council and its sub-committees, including setting meeting dates, sending invitations, preparing papers, taking minutes and actions, and dealing with queries.

We are seeking an experienced Events and Community Fundraiser who will deliver our programme of running and challenge events and develop our community fundraising programme. As part of the Partnerships & Philanthropy (P&P) team, you will form and nurture relationships with UK based Trusts and Foundations, securing five and six figure partnerships with small and medium sized organisations. You will manage your own portfolio of five and six figure UK based Trusts and Foundations, and support the Senior Trusts and Foundations Manager with large opportunities. 

New business is a key part of this role, and you will have the exciting opportunity to research, identify and engage organisations that could be great prospects for CARE, as well as stewarding a small number of existing donors through creative, gold standard, relationship management.

In this newly created role you will develop our work on influencing and telling the truth about poverty, this is one of two objectives for the charity.  You will help build relationships of influence within the Church of England, Government and other decision makers to use our stories and impact to show the difference churches and faith groups can make in ending material and relational poverty.  You will develop policy positions on areas of CUF’s work in relation to poverty that will give a firm basis for our work, and that we will be able to speak out on with confidence and knowledge based on connection to grassroots churches and organisations.  You will develop a robust mechanism for reporting on impact, which goes beyond just evaluating our work but demonstrates the difference that faith based social action can make on ending poverty together.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Finance Officer to join our mental health charity, to support and deliver effective, efficient financial processes and compliance with financial regulations and data protection to ensure the smooth and effective running of the organisation.

We are seeking an organised and proactive person to provide day-to-day support across both functions, with around 70% of the role focused on HR. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced, global environment while contributing to meaningful work.

The HR and governance officer will support the organisation’s human resources, governance, and compliance functions, reporting to the COO. They will work to ensure that HR function and practices are fair, legally compliant, and aligned with organisational values, and will provide the COO with board management support. This role combines operational HR support with insight into governance processes, supporting a positive, inclusive, and legally compliant working environment.

Main Responsibilities

Human Resources:

● Coordinate recruitment processes, including drafting job descriptions and contracts, applicant screening, supporting interviews and collecting references;
● Manage staff onboarding processes and induction material;
● Maintain and update HR policies, the staff handbook, and training records in consultation with the COO;
● Manage the HR system (Natural HR or equivalent) and ensure records are accurate and up to date;
● Manage EAP scheme, training, and benefits (e.g. Climate Perks, glasses benefit, Cycle to Work scheme);
● Coordinate staff performance reviews and support line managers with induction, appraisal, and probation processes;

We are seeking a qualified Specialist ISVA (Independent Sexual Violence Advisor) to join our Advocacy team at Respond. The role includes providing pro-active emotional, practical and advocacy support for adults with learning disabilities and autistic people with complex or multiple needs who have experienced any form of sexual violence and are engaging, (or considering engaging) with the criminal justice system. The ISVA will work across London to provide non-judgmental, trauma-informed emotional support, working in partnership with other London sexual violence support services. 

Our ideal candidate will have experience in the ISVA role as well as a friendly and relational approach to working with clients.  You will have the ability to build trusting relationships, work in an empowering and inclusive way and support clients to heal following sexual abuse and develop coping capacity. You will be a self-motivated individual who will engage with a wider range of people who have experience sexual violence, and other barriers to justice.

Our Time for Ambition strategy envisions a world where every autistic young person can be themselves and realise their goals. We're seeking a Schools Engagement Officer to play a vital role in making this next chapter a success. You will also contribute to dissemination activities, helping to raise awareness of the programme and demonstrate its impact.
