Have you got strategic experience in fundraising, preferably for a charity. We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our team, hitting the ground running.
You will be required to try to fill the defecit each year between income and expenditure, raising
community engagement, grants and bid writing, Wills and Legacies and gaining regular donors, while overseeing a programme of events with an assistant for support?
Fundraising Manager
£38,000 – £41,000 FTE dependent on experience. Reporting to the CEO. Four days, based at Jecca’s House, Chipping Campden.
Responsibilites:
Fundraising – General
- To deliver a continuous fundraising operation to meet the short, medium and long-term revenue needs of the charity as determined by the CEO and Board of Trustees
- Establish and maintain positive relationships across the organisation and an in-depth understanding of the charity’s needs and priorities to ensure your fundraising activity contributes positively
- Development and maintenance of key resources to support our fundraising activity, including case for support, programme schedule and budgets
- To develop corporate sponsorship proposals and be prepared to respond promptly to funding offers and opportunities
- To steward regular donors, ensure they receive appropriate thanks and are kept informed
- Develop strategy to increase number of regular donors through the implementation of a regular giving programme
- Grow and manage the regular donors’ scheme, Payroll Giving, In-Memory giving, and appeals, contributing to the overall fundraising strategy.
- Champion the use of data and insight to drive regular giving, utilising database (Beacon) for effective prospect and donor management
- Monitor, evaluate, and forecast campaign performance, ensuring targets are met and providing reports as required
- Spotting fundraising opportunities and raising awareness of the CHNs work
Fundraising – Trusts & Foundations
- Researching fundraising opportunities which are likely to fund the work of CHN, writing compelling grant applications and building and managing a new business pipeline to deliver year-on-year growth in Trust and Foundations Fundraising income
- Cultivate relationships with prospects and identify appropriate projects or areas of CHN’s work to meet their criteria, developing tailored, persuasive funding proposals
- Deliver first-class grant management – taking responsibility for all requirements of funders including impact reporting, financial monitoring and reporting
- Ensure robust and practical monitoring and evaluation plans are in place to demonstrate the impact of grants you manage and report effectively to funders
Relationship Management
- Provide excellent stewardship and supporter care to regular donors
- Produce and deliver tailored engagement plans to deepen and grow CHN donor relationships
- Build and maintain strong internal relationships across the charity to ensure the delivery of CHN’s obligations to our funders
- Represent CHN at events and networking opportunities as required
Events
- Create plan and oversee and work events with the help of a Fundraising/Community Engagement Assistant
- Line manage Fundraising/Community Engagement Assistant.
General
- Manage and provide relevant training for the Fundraising/Event Assistant/Officer
- Work with the Marcomms Manager and the finance team on the annual fundraising planning process to produce effective budgets and strategies to achieve income targets across all revenue streams
- Create and manage the community engagement strategy and annual plan to maintain and further raise the profile of the charity while protecting brand by acting as the ‘brand guardian’

Person Specification:
- Proven track record in developing and implementing successful fundraising strategies and campaigns, ideally with at least 3 years experience in the charity sector or demonstrate they have transferrable skills to move into the charity sector.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as the necessary with the nature of the job.
- Demonstrated ability to raise substantial fundraised income and achieve targets
- Effective stakeholder management skills, both internally and externally, previous experience of managing client relationships

Community Fundraising and Communications Engagement Assistant
£22,500 to £26,000 (FTE dependent on experience). Responsible to the Fundraising Manager and Marcomms Manager. Two days per week (worked over three days if preferable. Based at Jecca’s House
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the creation, planning, setting up and working at fundraising and community awareness events
- Face to face community work in the form of hosting coffee mornings and fundraising/engagement events
- Face to face collection of raffle prizes etc within our communities
- Poster erection and flyer distribution
- Recording data from events
- Work closely with both managers in the MARCOMMS team
MARCOMMS/Fundraising – General
- To help the Fundraising Manager deliver a continuous fundraising operation to meet the short, medium and long-term revenue needs of the charity as determined by the CEO and Board of Trustees

Person Specification
- You will be highly organised, used to working in a fast-paced and autonomous environment and need to be able to plan ahead.
- You will be proactive, flexible, creative, resilient and able to plan ahead.
- Flexibility is key as this role will require evening and weekend work, time will be given in lieu for hours worked in this situation
- Computer literate as there will be database and design tools such as Canva to use
- A team player as you will work with the Fundraising Manager and Communications Manager. Prioritisation is second nature.
- You will be confident using social media, and objective and flexible in the way you use the tools and platforms available.
- Experience using CRMs is desirable but not essential.
- This role can be physical – the successful candidate will be involved in setting up and closing of events which may entail some heavy moving and carrying.

This is an exciting opportunity to help Cambridge City Food Bank realise it’s vision of ending the need for foodbanks, through an ambitious strategy creating a network of affordable food clubs, financial inclusion projects, and campaigning to change current systems which contribute to food insecurity – and working alongside it’s eight existing foodbank welcome centres.
In order to realise this ambition, we need to establish a new programme of fundraising growth, that can increase our annual income from circa £700K to in excess of £1M.
Through this new organisational role, you’ll proactively create and grow fundraising income opportunities with individuals, corporate partners, granting giving trusts and foundations, and community groups. Building on our faith-based heritage and ethos you'll be at the heart of our local community, bringing our cause to life and building lasting donor relationships.
Through your fundraising expertise, you will have a proven track record of building relationships with corporate partners, individuals and other donors to achieve and exceed annual income targets and KPI’s. You’ll have the capacity to create and craft compelling proposals and appeals that successfully engage and attract donations from new and existing supporters.
Main Duties:
● Proactively identify, engage and build good relationships with prospective corporate donors, successfully securing them as funding partners. Alongside this you’ll deepen engagement and grow our relationships and partnerships with existing corporate donors.
● Work with colleagues across Cambridge City Food Bank, to develop authentic, compelling, creative and winning funding and partnership proposals that can successfully engage corporate partners and align with their needs, motivations, areas of interests and values.
● Design and deliver excellent, engaging and regular stewardship communications and powerful fundraising appeals alongside establishing the associated data and systems. You will grow our income and pool of individual supporters making one off or monthly donations. You’ll also explore and implement ways of promoting Cambridge City Food Bank to successfully attract an ever-greater number of individual donors.
● Work with and support external consultants and colleagues across CCFb and the wider Trussell Trust networks to help secure fundraising partnerships and income from grant giving trusts and foundations.
● Develop, monitor and manage a fundraising portfolio capable of generating in excess of £1M per annum. You’ll establish a fundraising pipeline, including a range of KPI’s that can be tracked and that will enable you to make informed projections regarding future income.
● Forge strong relationships with colleagues across the wider Trussell Trust network, sharing best practice and learning from other charities across the network. As part of a network ‘learning set’, you’ll proactively take advantage of any fundraising training and skills development opportunities and engage with any joint fundraising opportunities.

Salford Foodbank provides emergency food parcels to local people who are referred to us in crisis. Food is donated, sorted and packed at our warehouse, then delivered to our 7 centres across Salford, where teams of volunteers greet people as they pick up their food parcels. People can also access support and advice at our centres to help them maximise their income and ensure they are less likely to need to use the foodbank again.
You’ll be joining a friendly team of 6 part-time staff, 6 Trustees and approx. 80 volunteers, all dedicated to supporting people facing hardship. We are part of The Trussell Trust, a nationwide network of foodbanks.
Rate of pay: £21,000 per annum for 22.5 hours per week (£35,000 FTE pro-rata)
Full-time / part-time: Part time role 22.5 hours per week (flexible, home based within the North West with some contact hours at Salford Foodbank warehouse/office)
Temporary / permanent: Fixed term contract role for 18 months, with opportunity to extend based on funding
- This is an exciting opportunity to join Salford Foodbank in a new role, accountable to the Foodbank Manager and the board of trustees. As the need for Foodbank services continues to grow Salford Foodbank has developed and expanded. The staff and volunteer team have increased, and we have embarked on new projects to support those that use the Foodbank.

Main purpose of post
To build a high-performing fundraising team to drive and stabilise significantly increased fundraising performance across a range of income streams. The post holder will lead the development and delivery of an ambitious and data driven fundraising strategy to successfully deliver Weston Park Cancer Charity’s vision.
You will be instrumental in the development and delivery of a major 5 year charity appeal. The appeal will raise the funds to enable a step change in our support of Weston Park Cancer Centre and the impact we have for people affected by Cancer in our region. The appeal forms the basis of the charity’s overall 5 year fundraising strategy.

Leadership
· Champion fundraising across the organisation.
· Be an inspiring ambassador for Weston Park Cancer Charity and ensure this is reflected in the strategies, outputs, and behaviour of the fundraising team.

Fundraising Development
· Work with the Head of Strategic Partnerships and Development, external advisor(s), commissioned agencies and the appeal committee to deliver a multi-year major fundraising appeal
· Work with the Legacy and In Memory Fundraising Manger to deliver and implement a legacy pipeline and growth in In-Memory giving income
· Work with the Individual Giving Fundraising Manager to deliver and implement a strategy which prioritises both the retention and acquisition of new donors, enhances the use of digital products, platforms, and channels and delivers the highest standard of supporter care and donor stewardship.
· Lead on the introduction of a charity lottery.
· Work with relevant colleagues to deliver a new strategy and plan which prioritises deepening and strengthening existing relationships and building a strong pipeline of new prospects to deliver multi-year funding from major donors, high profile supporters, trusts, foundations, and companies.
· Support the Data Manager with the adoption and use of Raisers Edge NXT CRM to effectively support data-driven decision making and relationship management to generate supporter insights in support of increased fundraising.
Brand and Marketing
· Working in collaboration with the Deputy CEO, Marketing Manager and external agencies in the development and delivery of an integrated marketing and communications strategy that is driven by audience insight.
· Foster a strong working relationship between the fundraising and marketing team to inspire high-performance and results-oriented marketing to build a community of supporters by delivering a seamless supporter journey that promotes the charity’s work and delivers greater income generation.
· Empower the fundraising team to successfully deploy our brand.
· Work in partnership with the Marketing Manager to ensure content is up to date, factually accurate and to manage reputational risk.·
People Management
· Create a high-performing team that is ambitious and passionate about Weston Park Cancer Charity’s vision.
· Provide line management to direct reports, setting, and monitoring individual performance objectives and motivating the team to be innovative and professional in its thinking and delivery.

SUDEP Action is the only UK charity focused on preventing epilepsy-related deaths. We have the only epilepsy bereavement service freely available to anyone suddenly bereaved by epilepsy (including SUDEP). By representing the voices of those who have died and who are bereaved, we aim to learn from deaths, and use research, policy and campaigns to raise awareness and take action that helps save lives.
Working both independently and with the wider team you will deliver a high-quality community fundraising service. We’re looking for someone who has worked in a fundraising department and/or similar role before, preferably in the charity sector. Engaging confidently with people and feeling comfortable in adapting your approach to different audiences is a key skill for this role - whether they are major donors, corporates or community fundraisers. This is particularly important as many of our supporters & fundraisers are bereaved.
Building positive supporter connections is at the heart of what we do at SUDEP Action, so setting a positive example of this through your plans and actions, and demonstrating the importance of maintaining strong, personalised supporter relationships is key. You’ll know how to follow processes to record, monitor and evaluate supporters’ engagement with community fundraising activities, so this feeds back into how the charity operates.
Much of the charity’s income comes from our motivated and passionate supporters, so this role is a key part of income generation. The successful candidate will be able to build on current processes and successes to grow our engagement across all fundraising activities, platforms and campaigns. THE ROLE
As the Corporate Fundraiser at Zoe’s Place Liverpool, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our mission by contributing to the delivery of our overall income generation strategy.

All Aboard Youth Rowing – formerly known as Warrington Youth Rowing – is a charity established to support disadvantaged children achieve life skills using the sport of rowing. The Role
The Fundraising Officer will coordinate all fundraising activities in line with the Charity’s overall strategy and sustainability plans. Working closely with the Chief Executive Officer, the Fundraising Officer will identify sources of income and build good working relationships with funders to achieve agreed funding targets.
The role is based in the North-West of England working from home and ideally, the Fundraising Officer will be in one of the following locations:
- Cheshire
- Merseyside

Key areas of responsibility for the Fundraising Officer include:
• Contribute and assist with the development of a fundraising strategy for the Charity.
• Achieve the agreed funding target of newly sourced funding within the specified and agreed timeframe.
• Identify potential sources of funding and maximise opportunities to secure funding and grow and develop income.

The successful candidate will be highly motivated and have a background in fundraising. They must be able to demonstrate a strong track record of securing funding from national funders, preferably for the youth or sport sector. They will have experience of monitoring the impact of community projects. In addition, they will be adaptable and comfortable working on both their own initiative and as a team player.

The Charity has a desire to grow and become more sustainable, the Fundraising Officer will play a key role in achieving this ambition. Responsibilities include:
Leadership, Strategy and Governance
- To be an active member of the Made in Hackney Senior Leadership Team, working together to galvanise the organisation behind our strategic plan.
- To contribute to strategic discussions on the future direction of the organisation.

Donor stewardship & reporting
- To retain current donors and maximise fundraising opportunities, including delivering a programme of appropriate stewardship opportunities with the core team.

- To complete reporting to grant funders, including developing report templates, creating reports, case studies, and other administrative requirements.
Communications
- To input into MIH’S communications strategy and the planning and implementation of improvements to marketing plans, digital presence and social media strategy to ensure impact and fundraising successes are communicated

We are looking for a proactive and passionate individual with a strong background in digital marketing and fundraising to help us bring rivers back to life.
Our rivers face more threats than ever. SERT’s Working with Communities Team educates and engages local communities and other stakeholders who have the power, influence (and money!) to help make our rivers thrive again. This role will play a key part in making this happen by helping us reach more people from a wider range of audiences, and connecting them to the issues facing rivers, the solutions that will make a difference and by raising our profile in the expert delivery of them.
This new role within our Working with Communities Team will develop and implement a digital strategy to amplify and support SERT’s presence through increased brand profile, supporter acquisition and engagement and donated revenue. This will involve creating and managing online marketing and fundraising campaigns for the Trust across our digital platforms that grow support for our mission, generate income, reach new audiences and promote the value of the South East’s rivers.
The role will refine the Trust’s existing supporter journey to increase donor revenue making use of its established channels (organic social media, newsletter, website) as well as researching and implementing new channels such as paid advertising, SEO, online campaigns (including crowdfunding) and new social platforms.
