Age UK is recruiting for an experienced Direct Marketing Manager (Acquisition) who understands multi-channel acquisition programmes and has a deep knowledge of face-to-face fundraising.
Face to face fundraising remains one of our essential supporter acquisition channels. When done well, it builds trust, sparks emotional connection and creates long term relationships that fund our vital services.
This is an exciting and critical role in Age UK's Individual Marketing team that will be responsible for the delivery of the Acquisition strategy and programme to recruit new financial supporters through creating exciting propositions that provide our target audiences with compelling reasons to donate.
Individual Marketing is a key component in Age UK's income generation strategy, with ambitious growth projected by 2030 - this role will be crucial for achieving this.
We operate a hybrid-working model, a blend of home and office working. This role will include regular days working from our London office - currently once a week on a Thursday and may involve occasional travel for meetings and events. Travel costs to the London office are the responsibility of the postholder and are not covered by the charity.

About the Role
This is an exciting role that will lead the successful growth and delivery of the Smart Works Pop Up Shops and sales, other fundraising events and the community fundraising programme. Managing the Events and Community Manager(s), you will work closely with the Wardrobe and wider Partnerships Team to deliver exceptional events, raise vital funds and secure stock for clients and fundraising.

The role of Interim Head of Fundraising
This is an exciting interim (9-12 month) opportunity for a strategic and people focused leader to head up our Fundraising team and help drive meaningful change for people affected by digestive conditions.

Salary range is £65 - £68k (+£2k London weighting) to be calculated pro-rata for anyone looking to work reduced hours. Salary offers will be based on experience.
Location
We have offices in London and Huddersfield, both of which are easily accessible by public transport or road. We support hybrid working but attendance in the chosen office is required for a minimum of 1 day per week.

We are looking for a self-motivated and target-driven Fundraising and Volunteering Officer who can hit the ground running. You will be responsible for developing and growing strong relationships with new and current supporters across the Nottinghamshire region, to raise funds and volunteer for Jerry Green Dog Rescue in support of our mission.
As the Volunteering and Community Fundraising Officer for Nottinghamshire you will be responsible for:
·Identifying and engaging new individual, group and corporate supporters, and developing strategies to promote fundraising activities and grow income from your local area.
·Providing high quality stewardship to individual supporters, groups and businesses within the community, ensuring relationships are developed and maintained at a high standard.
·Representing Jerry Green Dog Rescue as the first point of contact within the community for Nottinghamshire, promoting our mission, vision, and values alongside fundraising and volunteering opportunities.
·Work with your team to recruit, induct and train volunteers to support fundraising and other relevant initiatives locally in the community.
·Acting as an ambassador for Jerry Green Dog Rescue, and living our values in everything you do, with your colleagues, supporters and volunteers.
·Keeping up to date with sector trends across community fundraising and volunteering,

We're looking for a proactive and well-connected Fundraising Coordinator to work closely with SYEDA's management team to shape and deliver our fundraising plans for the future.
This is a unique opportunity to own and develop a fundraising plan, not just to deliver against one that is already in place. You'll play a central role in diversifying our income streams, strengthening our sustainability, and enabling more people to access vital support.
In this role, you will:
Ideally, you'll have experience in a fundraising or income-generation role, and a track record of developing relationships which lead to tangible support. This role will work closely with SYEDA's CEO to explore opportunities to amplify the work that we do, and bolster support to ensure that work can continue, and having strong networks and the confidence to build new ones will be key to the role. We're a small, dedicated team, and so a collaborative mindset and a passion for mission-driven work is key.
