Job Title: Partnership Development Manager

Salary: £34,500.

Contract Type: Contract for 18 months; there is a strong possibility that currently anticipated growth in the team may see this role become permanent during the contract term. Full time (35 hours per week) although flexible hours may be considered; the role may require occasional evening and weekend work  

Working location: Home based. The post holder should expect to come into the office a minimum of two days per month, with the possibility of up to five days per month being routinely required.

BACKGROUND   

The latest research suggesting that the number of children and young people at risk of hunger has rocketed to three million means that one in five children don't have enough to eat.   

When a child is too hungry to learn, when they’re aching for something to eat, they can’t concentrate. They can’t absorb information. Big feelings and worries can be impossible to control. They fall behind in their studies.  

Magic Breakfast provide a nutritious and filling breakfast to over 200,000 children and young people every school day. We work with schools in areas of high disadvantage, helping staff target the children most in need without barrier or stigma.   

Magic Breakfast are ambitious to grow our impact in order to remove hunger as a barrier to learning for all children and young people in the UK. To do this, we need to continue to grow our fundraised income, of which new corporate income is a significant element.

JOB INFORMATION

We are seeking candidates who are after the next step in their fundraising journey. You will already have strong credentials and be ready to start your journey into Partnership Management which will include leading in delivering the new business plan and working closely with colleagues in the Partnership Development team and across the organisation to identify, create and secure new strategic, multi-year corporate partnerships 

You’ll be ambitious to take the next step and we are on hand to support and offer you training and a positive working environment to allow you to gain confidence and knowledge in the role at a steady pace.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Building a pipeline that reflects Magic Breakfast’s restricted and unrestricted funding needs, including Gift in Kind requirements, working with the Partnership Research Executive to research and identify prospects with potential.  
• Making use of multiple tactics to secure meetings with prospects including, for example, cold calling, emailing, running events, event networking and social selling on platforms like LinkedIn.
• Ensuring that risk-screening and due diligence processes have been completed in line with Magic Breakfast’s Ethical Fundraising and Due Diligence policies. 
• Understanding each prospect’s strategic interests through meetings, discussions and research and defining the mutual advantage in partnership. 
• Developing and delivering engaging, relevant and impactful pitches and written proposals to prospective partners.

This is an opportunity to join Refuge as a Service Manager to support women and children who are impacted by domestic abuse and other gender-based crimes. • You will participate in professional and networking events related to Big Green Heart’s field of intervention.

The Role

As a Project Lead for the ASB team you will be:

• Managing a small team of ASB caseworkers including performance management, monitoring and support
• Responsible for allocating cases within the team and analysing statistics and data in order to monitor daily caseloads against resources and look for trends/ pattern of behaviour
• Working with the Operations Manager to ensure delivery of the business plan and associated outcomes

• Leading on delivery of training to local agencies, organisations and bodies to represent the service and increase knowledge and understanding of issues related to the ASB
• Contributing to and attending monitoring meetings with funders/commissioners and providing reporting when required
• Playing a lead role in developing VS’s ASB work at both local and national levels
• When the service requires, holding a small caseload providing high quality support to service users in line with VS policies and operating procedures.

The role is home-based within Devon and Cornwall and therefore is open to applicants who both live in this area and have access to an appropriately confidential space in which to work.  Regular travel within working hours will be expected across Devon and Cornwall to fulfil the role and travel expenses are paid.  Core service hours are between 9am – 5pm, with the expectation to flex to need where required, managed within flexible working arrangements.

Role: Supporter Development Manager

Location: Southwark, Haig House Hybrid

Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract, 12 Months Maternity Cover

Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday

Salary: £41,172 to £42,192 per annum (Inclusive of London Supplement)

As a Supporter Development Manager, you’ll have a crucial role in engaging and developing our existing supporter-base through a range of activity. As well as being a confident project manager, you’ll need to be a strong communicator to engage with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders to ensure our campaigns hit deadlines and deliver targets.

Understanding your budgets and campaign performance is also a vital part of this role as you’ll play an important part in budget development and management. Our programme is always focussed on further developing and growing our supporter engagement and financial support, so this role requires strong knowledge of audience segmentation, planning in a supporter-centric way and campaign KPIs. It’s also important to understand how we’re compliant and working within all regulations and as well as best practise processes.

You will be contracted to our London Hub, Haig House. Under our Future Working framework, there will be some flexibility for working remotely/at home, using our collaboration tools to work with but with a minimum expectation of two days/week connecting directly face-to-face with colleagues at the hub.

As the next general election approaches, this is an exciting time to join the to join their Fundraising Team and play a vital role as they prepare for the election, which is likely to see a shift in the political landscape.

As a key part of the Major Donor Fundraising Team, you will develop the successful Legacy Programme through targeted marketing activities via digital & physical outreach. This role will have a focus on increasing the number of legacy donors via marketing & outreach, email campaigns, postal mailers, as well as the management of a free-will writing service. You will also lead engagement with legacy programme donors and the processing of legacy donations.
To be a successful Legacy Manager, you will need:  

• Experience in Legacy fundraising/marketing, or in Individual Giving
• Ability to approach legacy donors and prospects, engage them effectively and make direct ask in person, by phone or email 
• Interest in politics and sympathy with the cause of the Liberal Democrats
