Summary of Role
This is an exciting new role in our Talking Therapies team providing vital support to people in Manchester with common mental health problems. Working alongside counsellors, you will provide wrap-around social and practical support to adults on our waiting list for or who are engaging in Talking Therapy to enable them to address and overcome barriers impacting on their health and wellbeing. You will provide advice, information and guidance on these issues, make onward referrals to specialist advice organisations where necessary and support engagement with these services.
You will build and maintain relationships with key referrers, such as GP surgeries, to promote the service and facilitate appropriate referrals.
Once trained, you have the exciting task of leading and facilitating a new course within the service: Living Life to the Full™, a CBT-informed group programme designed to support people to improve low mood, overcome stress, sleep better and build confidence.
This role is subject to an Enhanced DBS Check

We are looking to appoint an experienced, dynamic leader to work with the present Executive Director & Senior Minister on the leadership of Oasis Church Waterloo, on HR, team development and leadership, and on the Hub budget/finance strategy.

As an Employment Coach with our Employcare Project you will be supporting unpaid carers living in Manchester; providing support and coaching in order for them to re-enter paid employment or voluntary roles. Gaddum is looking for a qualified PWP to join our well-established Talking Therapies team operating in Manchester and expand our offer for clients. You will work alongside a team of dedicated counsellors within a stepped care model to provide initial assessments and a range of NICE approved low intensity interventions for common mental health problems, including one-to-one work and the potential for groupwork.
You will be skilled in delivering low intensity therapy, with the ability to organise and prioritise your own workload, and will have successfully completed an approved IAPT PWP Post Graduate Certificate (or be near to qualification with all elements of the course successfully passed/on track to qualify on time).
Gaddum offers a supportive environment to a nearly or newly qualified PWP, enabling you to develop in the role, alongside a small, diverse and compassionate team.

We are seeking a Direct Marketing Officer to join this team to manage and deliver a series of high standard direct marketing campaigns across our Regular Giving programme. This individual will be recruiting, retaining and upgrading regular donors to generate income through a variety of direct marketing methods such as direct dialogue, DRTV, digital, and direct mail. They will be encouraging regular monthly gifts or support via one of our main products such as general Regular Giving and Sponsorship, our Lottery, Value Exchange programme and other methods of committed giving as they arise.

We have a rare and exciting opportunity at Woodgreen Pets Chairty to join our Senior Leadership team as a Head of Retail. You would be leading a transformation change to the Retail Estate that continues to enhance the Woodgreen brand, providing an exceptional shopping and donor experience alongside excellent customer service. Our Retail team is an integral part of our Charity, and as Head of Retail, you will be responsible for our estate of 27 shops that cover East of England, west towards Oxfordshire and south towards London. We would ask that you are flexible so as to travel around the region and have a regular presence in our Godmanchester Head Office.
As Head of Retail, you will be responsible for the strategic and operational direction, which includes:
Driving Growth: Achieve sales and profit targets through managing our Retail Area Managers whilst strengthening the existing estate by building strong foundations.
Strategic: Developing a customer focused strategy, ensuring it maximises sustainable net income and long-term value for the charity.
Team Building & Management: Working alongside the People and Volunteering teams, empower, support and develop a high performing retail team and create a collaborative workplace culture.
Budgetary and Financial Management: Work with the retail managers to set target net contributions for retail activities and making any amendments where necessary.
Operational: Ensure that all processes and systems are fit for purpose and constantly review the operational framework to ensure that the highest standards are being met.
