About you

We are seeking an organised individual with demonstrable experience in providing professional HR support, and a desire to grow and develop in a varied and interesting generalist role.

You will have a background in HR, and ideally, additional experience supporting in wider business support, such as office administration, IT or operations.

You will need to have good interpersonal skills, and be confident in your IT skills, and have experience using Microsoft Office and a database or People Management software.

About the role

Reporting to the Head of People, the HR Officer will primarily:

• Act as first point of contact on general HR & operational queries for the staff team and administer relevant files and email inboxes
• Champion staff well-being, delivering our staff well-being events and socials, and supporting in the deliver of new well-being ventures
• Support in the recruitment of diverse and effective staff
• Support in the onboarding, training and development of our staff team
• Ensure that the operations contractors, including, cleaning, IT, security and facilities are fulfilling agreed service levels
• Look to where the People team may further develop and improve its processes and support for the staff team and Society, either to improve their own capabilities or those of other staff

Working pattern
35hrs, Mon-Fri | We are currently running a trial of the 4-day work week; staff can opt to work 32hrs over 4 days each week at no loss of salary.
Location
Hybrid | We ask that staff spend at least 60% of their time at our London office.

As a Centre Leader, you will have responsibility for setting up, launching and running your IntoUniversity centre, including managing your team, planning and delivering the programme, liaising with external stakeholders and meeting IntoUniversity’s targets for delivery. However, a substantial element of this role is delivering our education programme to children and young people aged 7-18, so you will need to have a genuine passion and enthusiasm for working with young people, including leading a class of 30 from the front, working with small teams of children and providing one-to-one support.

About the role

This position involves leading and contributing to identified nutrition focused cancer and nutrition projects within Macmillan engaging with internal and external stakeholders.  There will be a particular focus on the following areas: 

• Review and development of Macmillan nutrition resources from an equality, diversity and inclusion perspective, working on focused pieces of work with communities to co-produce nutrition information through focus groups/attending relevant community events and discussing the importance of nutrition. 
• Leading a nutrition focused partnership project(s) in identified areas with poorer quality health outcomes.
• Development of scoping work to understand the opportunities for creating a single point of access for nutrition and cancer resources. 

About you
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following skills and experience:

The main purpose of this role is is to deliver day-to-day facilities and conference/event services. You will be assisting in the building maintenance and support of general facilities requirements. This will include supporting the Events@no6 commercial team and clients in set up and ‘in meeting’ delivery of AV equipment and service. You will also be responsible for porterage of furniture, deliveries, post, equipment etc. for event and facilities support.

You will be essential in the background operation of the college building and creating a smoothly run environment. As Human Resources Advisor you'll be joining a small, friendly and supportive HR team providing advice and support to managers and staff across the full range of employee life-cycle activities. This is an additional role providing HR advice and support, primarily for our Key Project at Marylebone. This role sits within our Co.Lab team which refers to the team of people whose roles have an operational focus on facilitating the work of CA across the UK and Ireland. Transition Together is seeking to continue the work of deepening connection and growing the voice of the Transition Movement in England and Wales through the freelance engagement of three Network Weavers. This exciting project will see this team, supported by Transition Together staff, co-design an in person Transition Assembly early next year to guide the future of our Movement in the UK as well as build relationships with Transitioners across Wales and England and connect to emerging and established networks across the UK. We are looking for a Financial Accountant, to join our busy Finance team on a 12 month fixed term contract as progress our finance transformation journey, including the implementation of a new ERP finance system, Unit 4 (Agresso).

In this role, you will help manage the preparation of the Annual Report and Accounts and statutory returns, quarterly VAT returns, and oversight of monthly accounting processes ensuring that accurate accounts are produced on a timely basis.
You will be responsible for ensuring:

- Thorough testing of finance related end to end processes on Unit 4 ensuring that any issues are captured and resolved as appropriate.
- Successful finance data cleanse activities to ensure that data migrated to Unit 4 is fit for purpose
- Opening financial data migrated to Unit 4 reconciled clearly back to the legacy systems on a detailed and timely basis to ensure strong financial control and a successful audit
- Take lead on understanding and implementing any changes to approach necessary for month end close, journal processing and balance sheet reconciliations
- Successful and timely transfer of knowledge to the remaining members of the finance team

This is a homeworking role, but you will be required to travel to attend some meetings and team-days, so you must reside in the UK, have the correct right to work documents to work in the UK and be comfortable/willing to travel to our flagship offices.
 
About you

- Qualified Accountant (ideally ACA)

SUDEP Action is the only UK charity focused on preventing epilepsy-related deaths. We have the only epilepsy bereavement service freely available to anyone suddenly bereaved by epilepsy (including SUDEP). By representing the voices of those who have died and who are bereaved, we aim to learn from deaths, and use research, policy and campaigns to raise awareness and take action that helps save lives. 

Working both independently and with the wider team you will deliver a high-quality community fundraising service. We’re looking for someone who has worked in a fundraising department and/or similar role before, preferably in the charity sector. Engaging confidently with people and feeling comfortable in adapting your approach to different audiences is a key skill for this role - whether they are major donors, corporates or community fundraisers. This is particularly important as many of our supporters & fundraisers are bereaved.

We are looking for a Fundraising Officer to lead the administration of CCT’s tiered membership programmes, annual and church-based appeals, legacies, and fundraising events. The Fundraising Officer will also support in the creation of marketing materials to support these initiatives.

Following the growth in audience development through online events and digital activity, CCT welcomed younger and international members and increased the number of donations. We have since witnessed decreased retention rates and are looking to implement methods to increase member and donor acquisition and retention. 

The role of the Fundraising Officer is vital to maintaining excellent service delivery across our core fundraising programmes and providing strong supporter care.

• Reviewing project delivery: You will work closely with Network Coaches to agree the most efficient outworking of the MEAL Framework with the Viva partner networks for projects where Viva has brokered funding.
• Evaluating Viva’s work: You will lead the process of evaluating Viva’s work, including but not limited to needs assessments, baseline survey, final evaluation, data quality audits, collecting monitoring data, network satisfaction surveys, and field supervision.
• Representing Viva: You will at different times and ways represent Viva externally, for example, through speaking in churches, prayer meetings, meeting with other Christian organisations.

This role will suit you if you:

• have at least a Bachelor’s degree in impact measurement or international development with a MEAL module, or a related field
• are experienced in working in Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning-related functions or related field

This is a part-time role for Viva, based anywhere in the world where Viva can employ you. If based in the UK, the full-time salary range is £36,000 to £40,000 per annum (pro-rata), depending on experience. If you are based outside of the UK, the reward package will be adjusted to reflect the relevant local market and terms and conditions.

The role can be remote, hybrid or office-based where Viva has an office (Hong Kong, UK, Uganda). The post is subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS check and registration with the DBS Update Service (or police check where possible outside the UK), paid for by Viva.
