About the role:
As the Trusts and Foundations Fundraiser you will use your core knowledge and skill to reflect on strategy, relationship building and leading our charitable profile and income streams.
You will develop and influence strategy formation with supporters and other stakeholders to identify and actively seek out and engage trusts, foundations, and other funders by writing compelling and comprehensive funding bids, presentations, and applications.
You will work collaboratively with Senior Management Team to enhance stewardship to enable creative, effective, and appropriate activities to promote the development of sustainable engagement with supporters.
About you:
You will have demonstrable knowledge and experience of trusts and grants fundraising in a complex organisation as well as experience of prospecting, writing, and managing the application process. Ability to develop relationships with a broad range of stakeholders is vital.
In this role you will need excellent communication and IT skills together with demonstrable ability to plan, prioritise and work proactively. Understanding of the health/housing sector would be advantageous.

East London Apartments provides 24 hour accommodation based support for up to 31 individuals with complex histories, multiple traumas, complex personality disorder(s) and a varied, disrupted housing history with experience of homelessness as well as individuals who have been diagnosed with severe and enduring mental health conditions who are under the Care Programme Approach (CPA).
When working with individuals with complex needs, who may display challenging, chaotic behaviours, regularly testing boundaries and have experienced multiple traumas as a result of abuse, neglect, years of street homelessness, or long stays in mental health hospitals, it is integral that the post holder is motivated to support individuals to progress. They should continually hold aspirations for individuals despite multiple setbacks, and display emotional resilience, able to process challenging incidents and remain motivated to deliver excellent support.
Night Support Workers enable people with particular needs to manage their tenancies and live independent lives of their choosing in the community. Night Support Workers are responsible for ensuring continuity of a support service at night and for keeping customers and the building safe.

As a Senior Service Manager, focusing on their Community and Housing Related Support services at the Group, you will be responsible for overseeing the operational management of their Specialist Housing services in your area of expertise. Manage a team of Service Managers, supporting them to achieve the quality, service outcomes, and performance standards required by the Group and our contractual obligations.

Investigate potential disciplinary issues and complaints, recommending and implementing areas of improvement and best practice as required.

Assist in tendering for new opportunities, re-tendering for existing services, obtaining grant funding, and mobilising new contracts.

Develop services to deliver increased social benefit to communities in line with company business plans and departmental strategy.

Their Senior Service Manager position is a hybrid position, contracted to 36.25 hours per week. To them, this means a weekly presence in the services under the remit of the role (they are open to discussion around how this is built into working weeks).

Working within the IT Department, the Senior Support Analyst is the primary resource responsible for advanced 3rd line support of our systems, infrastructure, and networks. This covers both troubleshooting complex issues as they arise, as well as handling system implementations, maintenance, and configuration changes. You will help to ensure our IT services to our residents, members, and the Trust staff, are of the highest quality. In particular you will be responsible for the management of the broader Somerset House wired and wireless networks, resolving network issues, configuring switching, routing, and firewalls. You will work across a range of technologies and systems, from desktops to server to SaaS, maintaining ownership of support cases and project work from start to finish.
