PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

To work alongside the FASD Services Manager, FASD Lead Advisor and FASD Advisors in the delivery of the FASD Hub services including developing/delivering FASD training; providing direct support to families, providing line management supervision to volunteers and taking a lead role in facilitating community support services including peer support groups, Advice Line and the establishment of community support groups

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·The post holder will take a lead role and play an active part in the service’s peer support activities including online peer support groups/forums, virtual community groups and the establishment of a network of local community support groups.

·Lead delivery of FASD training workshops, seminars, webinars, events, commissioned training, and bespoke sessions for parents/carers, professionals, and stakeholders. The delivery of training may be online or in person and may require travel throughout Scotland.

·Responsible for supporting FASD Hub service users through direct one-to-one support to parents/carers.

·Provide support and supervision to FASD Hub volunteers.

·The post holder will take a significant role in the design and development of training materials and resources, including updating and refreshing in line with new FASD developments and research which impact upon the FASD community.

·Support the wider work of Adoption UK to deliver training on FASD to members, staff, and stakeholders, for example as part of Kinship Care Week, Adoption Week Scotland, The Promise etc.On occasions these maybe outside Scotland.

·Provide support and guidance to the FASD Helpline Advisor and follow up targeted enhanced advice in response to helpline enquires. 

·Provide cover and answer incoming enquiries to the FASD Hub Helpline, (telephone, email, and online platforms), along with occasionally providing cover to other Adoption UK Helpline services. 

·Working alongside other team members, the post holder will have input into the development, designing and planning of content for FASD Hub social media accounts, to ensure content is factually correct and the messaging reflects that of the FASD Hub service and FASD community. 

·Attend relevant national meetings, conferences, training events, networking, and development opportunities to promote the FASD Hub services and/or delivering FASD training.

·Support the FASD Services Manager and FASD Lead Advisor with delivery of the project and collaboratively work with all FASD Hub colleagues to ensure the success and growth of the project, and where required cover for other team member absence.

Role Overview: 

The Head of Marketing & Sales plays a pivotal role in driving the organisation’s growth. You will develop and execute multi-channel strategies delivered across the funnel from enhancing brand visibility and generating leads, nurturing leads to conversion, right the way through to supporting customer retention and advocacy. This varied role offers the opportunity to expand market reach with our current services, as well as helping launch new products into existing and untapped markets, while delivering a strong RoI. 

As well as being a commercial and strategic leader you will need to be a hands-on problem solver, ready to roll your sleeves up to support a small team to deliver where needed. You will be pivotal in ensuring we achieve our mission and deliver impact for post-16 students.  

You will report directly to the Chief Revenue Generation Officer who leads the revenue team, comprising of digital marketing and content specialists as well as membership support staff.

• Membership engagement and growth: Developing and executing strategic marketing and sales strategies to drive member engagement, growth and retention with our flagship membership and subscription services.  
• Brand positioning and visibility: Ensuring we have a powerful brand that punches above its weight to increase market share, drive competitive advantage and to position the organisation as a thought leader within the sector.
• Marketing analysis and segmentation: Conducting market analysis/research within existing and untapped markets to uncover insights to segment audiences and tailor marketing messaging and activities effectively to drive conversions. 
• Digital marketing: Overseeing digital marketing strategies, including website optimisation, email marketing, search marketing and social media marketing to drive traffic and conversion across the funnel stages.   
• Content and creativity: Oversea content strategy and creation across various formats and channels, ensuring innovation and creativity to stand out in a crowded market. 
• Data-driven decision making: Using analytics to test strategies, measure results and generate insights in order to iterate and improve performance, tracking key metrics and leading the team to deliver and report against agreed KPIs.  
• Budgeting and resource management: Tracking spend, ensuring cost effective allocation of resources and reporting on RoI.

CamSight is a respected charity that supports local people of all ages living with low vision and blindness in Cambridgeshire to live the lives they choose. The charity offers an holistic service ensuring any person with a vision impairment gets the support they need, when they need it.

We are looking to recruit a Corporate and Partnerships Fundraiser to raise the profile and awareness of CamSight and increase income through developing and securing a range of funding streams including Corporates and their employees whilst developing new relationships and partnerships. Project development

The Healthy Ageing Project will address specific challenges within the community, while actively promoting healthy ageing in practical and effective ways across our network.

We will focus on the strengths and expertise of our member groups to promote engagement with Ireland's unique music, dance, sport, language and culture.

We will work together with our members throughout this three-year journey. Garden Court North Chambers is a highly successful barristers’ Chambers committed to the advancement of social justice through adherence to the rule of law and the promotion of fundamental rights. Members of Chambers specialise in inquests & public inquiries, immigration & asylum, Court of Protection, family, housing, protest rights and public law.

We are seeking a dynamic new staff member to manage the communications and promotional activities of Chambers, through our website and social media platforms, but also by incorporating training and promotional events, and by developing media engagement.

The successful applicant will line-managed by and work closely with the Head of Practice Management (HoPM). It is essential though that they are self-motivated and can work independently.

Key tasks

• To establish and maintain a communications strategy and plan for Chambers, utilising the latest in digital communication methods.
• To manage the promotional activities of Chambers, its Practice Teams, and individual members, by managing and developing:
  • Its website and social media,
  • Webinars, podcasts and other digital training methods, 
  • In-person training and promotional events.
• To assist the HoPM by promoting Chambers to professional clients.
• To manage the promotion of Chambers via the media.
• To manage and promote engagement with legal associations, charities and NGOs to further the ethos and business of Chambers.
• To promote Chambers and its members to relevant legal directories.
• To assist with the development and promotion of campaigns organised or joined by Chambers.
• To undertake internal communication work building a culture of engagement across Chambers.

The above tasks will include:

• Identifying newsworthy cases and issues upon which Chambers may wish to engage, including through liaising closely with members of Chambers and the Practice Management Team (PMgT) to identify notable cases and issues upon which we may wish to engage.
• Working under the direction of the HoPM to assist in the practice development of individual members.
• Engaging barrister members and pupils to produce high quality training and promotional material for the website and social media, including content production such as webinars, podcasts and vlogs.
• Ensuring the website is:
  • Accessible, attractive, interesting and as useful as possible to our professional and lay clients,
  • Optimised to achieve top search engine ranking,
  • Up to date, with members’ pages regularly reviewed, and news items frequently added,
  • A source of training materials and information relating to our work and ethos, including webinars, vlogs, blogs and ‘how to’ guides.
• Ensuring a variety of social media platforms are utilised to optimise the footprint of Chambers, and to promote news about Chambers’ cases and other activities as quickly, professionally and as widely as possible.
• Identifying potential new clients to the PMgT and assisting them in the promotion of Chambers.
• Maintaining and developing professional client contact lists, mailing lists and databases, in conjunction with the Practice Teams and PMgT.
• Coordinating, advertising and managing training and promotional events in conjunction with Practice Teams and the PMgT.  This to include maximising outcomes from events.
• Liaising with outside bodies, including legal associations, charities and NGOs to promote the engagement of members of Chambers and the standing of Chambers as a whole.
• Managing the use of Chambers seminar facilities for ethos-compatible third-party events.
• In conjunction with the HoPM and individual members, coordinating and drafting submissions to legal directories.
• Developing and maintaining effective relationships with journalists, media outlets and prominent actors in the human rights field to optimise the exposure of members and Chambers as a whole. 
• Maintaining and developing promotional material for Chambers to reflect and promote its ethos.
• Assisting with the production of Chambers promotional material, including sophisticated marketing materials by utilising the latest advertising platforms optimised for social media.
• Monitoring, evaluating and reporting on key communications activities, to help refine and improve the strategy.
• Working to a budget set by the Chambers’ AGM and reporting to the Staffing / Planning Committee and Chambers’ Meetings as requested.

Person Specification

The individual will have:

• A clear understanding and commitment to the ethos of Chambers.
• Experience of developing and maintaining an organisational communications strategy.
• A strong technical understanding of website and social media platform management and content production.
• Experience of the use of a range of digital communications for promotion and development.
• The ability to draft clear, engaging copy and undertake editing, under pressure.

We have an opportunity to work for our Adult Carers Team as an Adult Carers Support Advisor. You will provide emotional and practical support to Adult Carers in the London Borough of Bromley, aligned and working closely with the integrated care networks.

• To offer emotional and practical support to build resilience for carers on a one-to one basis.
• To provide support face to face, over the phone and in group settings.
• To develop and run local support groups.
• To actively target those carers facing multiple issues, most likely to fall into crisis

• Collect case studies to help demonstrate AGE UK Bromley and Greenwich’s Adult Carers Support service’s impact.

The Catalyst Collective is an innovative and rapidly growing non-profit organisation. Since our pilot programme launched in January 2021, we have expanded significantly. As we enter our fourth year of operation, we are seeking an organised and proactive Programme Manager to play a pivotal role in driving our growth and ensuring the successful delivery of our mentoring programmes.

The Programme Manager will work closely with the Programme Director to lead and manage key components of our mentoring programme. This includes building strong relationships with mentors, mentees, and partner schools, as well as coordinating training, enrichment activities, and programme delivery. The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational skills, a passion for empowering young Black women, and the ability to foster a supportive and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities: 

Mentee Recruitment and Induction

• Work closely with partner schools to finalise mentee cohorts.
• Visit schools to deliver induction sessions familiarising mentees with the programme.
• Lead mentor-matching sessions with support from Mentoring Coordinators.

Mentor Training and Onboarding

• Develop and deliver training sessions for mentors.
• Collaborate with the Recruitment Coordinator to ensure a diverse mentor pool.
• Support mentors to maximise the impact of their relationships.

Mentor Coordination

• Support a cohort of up to 20 mentoring pairs.
• Conduct monthly check-ins with each mentor.
• Facilitate mid and end-of-year reviews for mentoring pairs.

Enrichment Delivery and Planning

• Plan and deliver enrichment activities like career trips and work experience days.
• Evaluate the impact of enrichment activities and gather feedback.
• Collaborate with partners and vendors for enrichment events.

School Liaison

• Serve as the primary contact for partner schools.
• Regularly update schools on programme developments and mentee progress.

Safeguarding

• Act as a point of contact for safeguarding matters.

Communications

Reporting

About The Role

This is an incredibly exciting, high-impact role within the organisation. As Head of Fundraising you will be part of the Senior Leadership Team and our key fundraiser, critical fundraising strategist and have the scope to influence and shape our programmes.

You will be instrumental in driving income development and in leading fundraising initiatives with an emphasis on Trusts and Foundations, individual giving, major gift fundraising, corporate giving and statutory bodies such. You will nurture key relationships with existing donors and potential new supporters and build and manage a robust pipeline of supporters.

Responsibilities include:

Leadership, Strategy and Governance

• To be an active member of the Made in Hackney Senior Leadership Team, working together to galvanise the organisation behind our strategic plan.
• To contribute to strategic discussions on the future direction of the organisation.
• To participate and / or lead in team meetings as appropriate.
• To act as the lead staff team representative on the Strategy and Fundraising Board Sub-committee, actively contributing and working with Trustees, as well as attending Board meetings.
• To participate in organisational budget planning and monitoring meetings.

Fundraising and Development

• To co-design and write grant applications and secure grant funding from Trusts, Foundations or Corporate entities in line with our annual target (likely to be in the range of £400k-£500k).
• To work with the Partnerships Manager to secure Fundraising income from individual givers, major donors, Crowdfunding campaigns and other fundraising initiatives in line with our annual target (likely to be in the range of £200k).
• To develop and execute an annual fundraising strategy: building a sustainable portfolio consisting of grants and donations from individuals, corporates, trusts and foundations, to ensure long-term sustainable funding of activities.
• To research and prospect future funders.
• To maintain precise and up-to-date records on current and potential supporters and prospects.
• To create engaging fundraising communication tools.
• To establish partnerships for joint programmes and funding bids where beneficial.

Donor stewardship & reporting

• To retain current donors and maximise fundraising opportunities, including delivering a programme of appropriate stewardship opportunities with the core team.
• To work with the team to co-design programmes and their evaluation requirements to ensure the organisation meets the grant funders' requirements. 
• To complete reporting to grant funders, including developing report templates, creating reports, case studies, and other administrative requirements. 

Communications

• To input into MIH’S communications strategy and the planning and implementation of improvements to marketing plans, digital presence and social media strategy to ensure impact and fundraising successes are communicated
• To maintain a stock of impact-focused case studies and success stories and ensure fundraising successes are communicated on social media and online.
• To ensure the robust monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of fundraising strategies and campaigns; providing key input to the annual report and impact report.
• To coordinate fundraising events with the Community Partnerships Manager. 

Line Management

• To have direct line management responsibility for the Community Partnerships Manager and Social Media & Marketing Manager, creating a supportive environment for growth and development.

Swindon’s welcome, accessible space in the heart of the town is looking for two Hub Coordinators - to help us grow, build and do more: by and with the community. It's a great chance to get active and make a real difference in this diverse town.

You’ll be working with a dynamic group of volunteers and visitors, helping to keep the Hub running day-to-day, as well as taking on a special focus of your own.

One special focus will be reaching out and drawing in: connecting with communities, groups and people around Swindon who are not using the Hub; building relationships, working in partnership and organising events and activities to see that the Hub is as inclusive and diverse as it can be.

The other special focus will be learning, skills & growing: supporting volunteers and visitors to the Hub, developing programmes of activities and opportunities - both internal and working with external partners - to help people learn, develop and grow.

Salary is £28,000 - £32,000 depending on experience. Hours are 37 hours/week full time - applications for  job-share / part-time considered. It's a fixed term contract: 3 years, with possibility of extension
