About Bright Futures UK
Bright Futures UK supports children and young people aged 5 to 24 whose education has been disrupted due to serious long-term physical or mental health conditions. We offer online one-to-one tutoring, befriending, and mentoring programmes, as well as group programmes including hospital workshops, industry events, and advocacy initiatives. Working in close partnership with hospitals, families, and other services, we ensure that children and young people experiencing health-related challenges are not left behind.
Role Overview
The Trusts and Foundations Manager will play a central role in driving sustainable income for Bright Futures UK by securing funding from charitable trusts, foundations, and statutory bodies. This role will focus on developing high-quality funding applications, managing relationships with key funders, and ensuring timely reporting and stewardship.
Working closely with colleagues across Programmes and Finance, you will translate Bright Futures UK’s impact into compelling cases for support, while identifying new funding opportunities to grow and diversify income.
Key Responsibilities
Income Generation
- Research and identify trusts, foundations, and statutory funding opportunities aligned with Bright Futures UK’s mission.
- Develop and deliver a pipeline of high-quality funding applications to meet agreed income targets.
- Write compelling, tailored funding proposals and grant applications, drawing on organisational impact data and stories.
- Prepare accurate budgets in collaboration with the Finance Team to accompany applications.
Fundraising Strategy & Pipeline Management
- Maintain an active funding pipeline, ensuring applications and reports are submitted on time.
- Track progress against targets and provide regular updates to the Chief Executive and senior leadership.
- Contribute to the development of the charity’s wider fundraising strategy, ensuring trusts and foundations income complements individual giving, corporate partnerships, and community events.
Funder Stewardship & Reporting
- Build and maintain excellent relationships with funders, ensuring effective stewardship at all stages.
- Produce high-quality, timely grant reports that demonstrate impact and accountability.
- Arrange funder visits, meetings, and briefings as required.
Monitoring, Evaluation & Administration
- Work with the Programmes Team to gather impact data, case studies, and evidence to strengthen proposals and reports.

Person Specification

- Proven track record of securing significant multi-year grants from trusts, foundations, or statutory funders.

Casework – The post-holder will carry a specialist caseload, providing advice and casework covering the full range of debt issues and solutions. This includes but is not limited to, dealing with emergencies, making use of the Breathing Space scheme, making offers of repayment, drafting financial statements, advising on insolvency options and providing budgeting advice. They will ensure that income maximisation is carried out and refer to other in-house advisers or specialist agencies as appropriate.
They will be required to act for the client where necessary and communicate with third parties to progress a case.

Main Purpose of Role
CFAB is a national charity and the UK-branch of the International Social Service network. Our social work team helps to resolve cases involving child protection, children in care, and vulnerable adults when the case crosses international borders. CFAB social workers offer advice and guidance to individuals and local authorities and help to link social work services between the UK and another country. CFAB social workers engage in direct work with beneficiaries through kinship assessments and risk assessments.
The main purpose of the role is: to manage a caseload of complex cases originating in the UK or overseas which involve child protection issues; to support, advise and quality assure the work of social workers in other countries; to deliver training to professionals on issues related to international social work, and: when needed, to complete kinship assessments of family members who have come forward to care for a child in care.
Note: Whilst there are some opportunities to complete direct work with service users, such opportunities are limited as the focus of the role involves supporting social workers abroad and delivering training to UK Local Authorities.
Main duties, tasks and key results
1. To hold a caseload of allocated cases originating in the UK or overseas
- Quality assuring complex kinship and parenting assessments completed by social workers abroad for court proceedings in the UK.
- Managing complex cases requiring liaison with local authorities or individuals in the UK, and the relevant authorities overseas to resolve the case;
- Assessing cases referred to CFAB, identifying the intervention required and the resources/agency to undertake it
- Preparing information for referral abroad or to an agency in the UK;
- Establishing, developing and maintaining relationships with clients and/or agencies in the UK and overseas to ensure the progression of cases to resolution;
- Ensuring that all cases are dealt with in a manner consistent with CFAB guidelines and Social Work England’s’ professional standards;
- Undertaking the required administrative tasks.
2. To participate in running the Advice Line service and responding to enquiries made to CFAB
- Offering advice to local authorities, NGOs and individuals
- Advising on referral procedure and fees
- Sending follow-up documents to enquirers
- Liaising with overseas partners for advice and to establish if services are available
3. To provide training to local authority professionals
- Deliver training sessions, jointly and single-handedly, to UK authorities on issues relating to international child protection, e.g. child trafficking and private fostering
- Present on CFAB’s behalf to conferences on international child protection, as required.
4. To undertake social work assessments
- Undertake kinship assessments of individuals in the UK who have applied to care for a child within their family who is in care in another country;
5. To support the development of the Social Work Team and wider CFAB team through:
- Participation in social work and CFAB team meetings
- Regular supervision meetings with line manager
- Representing CFAB to external partners
- Contributing to special projects as required
6. To be adaptable and willing to take on new roles and responsibilities as the services of CFAB develop in response to the changing needs
7. To maintain up to date knowledge of legislation and policies affecting the work of CFAB to ensure a high quality consultancy service to service users.
8. To present, represent and promote the organisation to a range of audiences and settings, including promotional events.

Individual giving is a fantastic, high performing team, generating over £20 million fundraised income per year. Your role will be pivotal in helping to support the delivery of our fundraising strategy, budget management, as well as being responsible for delivering campaigns to generate income both now and for the future.
If successful, you will be responsible for acquisition and retention communications that talk to thousands of individuals, building relationships with supporters across a wide range of marketing channels (including face-to-face, DRTV, direct mail, digital) and different activities, and driving vital income to support the charity’s research and care objectives.

About you

WCCM seeks to appoint an experienced, creative, and highly motivated Grant and Major Donor Fundraising Manager to lead fundraising and grant management across a global organisation dedicated to the teaching of Christian Meditation. Working to the Executive Director, you will interact with our decentralised finance, marketing and communications staff and volunteers. Working independently and in partnership with the Head of Philanthropy, Trust and Foundation Lead and other senior stakeholders, the Philanthropy Officer will drive donor engagement and development, through focused relationship management, impactful communication and innovative stewardship.
Key responsibilities include collaborating across the Philanthropy team, with fundraising colleagues, and hospice networks to build a robust prospect pipeline and design and implement personalised supporter journeys that track and monitor progress, deepen relationships and secure income.
This role will also be responsible for engagement and communication activities to support the Philanthropy programme, including event management, group communications and appeals.
Candidates who can demonstrate excellent writing, relationship and stakeholder management in other sectors will also be considered.

Purpose
The Case Manager will strive to make contact and work on a one-to-one basis with perpetrators whose victims have been identified as high risk at MARAC to pro- actively secure engagement, influence attitudinal and behavioural change and link to complementary services. To do this, the Case Manager will work with existing agencies in each pilot site to design a co-ordinated, strategic individual intervention plan to address identified needs and risks and promote understanding of the impact of abusive behaviours. Throughout the intervention the Case Manager will work closely with the IDVA service to review risk, develop safety plans and improve outcomes for all parties involved.
The Case Manager will be responsible over the long term for delivering outcomes, to achieve behaviour change with each service user.
Responsibilities
Interagency work
- Work to embed the Case Manager role into multi-agency responses to domestic abuse in the area.
- Effective understanding and implementation of institutional advocacy by pro- socially challenging partner agencies, acknowledging best practice and striving for change to benefit the individual, the service and the sector.
- Support other professionals in responding to service users in a way that is coterminous with the aims and ethos of the Drive Project.
- Working closely with other professionals to ensure that risk management and safeguarding duties are effectively met.
- Develop and maintain effective partnership working with statutory, private and voluntary agencies to address the issue of domestic abuse.
- Represent the service at operational multi-agency meetings, feeding back initiatives and outcomes to the team and contributing to the evaluation of the quality of activities these services offer.
- Provide a single point of proactive and regular contact for a range of professionals involved in the case of the service user.
- Be flexible and willing to work in all types of environments.
Case management
- Comply with child protection and information sharing policies, ensuring that service users and colleagues understand and comply with the service’s safeguarding framework.
- Manage a case load focusing on high risk perpetrators of domestic abuse to provide an assertive, medium to long term service, based on thorough assessment and individual support planning that adopts the principles of both ‘Support (change) or/and Disrupt (continued offending) concept.
- Contribute to regular service reviews which include monitoring data, evaluations, intake and output policy, and practice and workload reviews for the whole service.
- Attend monthly case management meeting with the Service Manager.
- Attend clinical supervision.
- Take appropriate steps to protect where there is an imminent risk to another person.
Recording and administration
- Ensure that case files and records are accurate and complete; and are kept and in compliance with Data Protection Act requirements.
- To enter all the required information into the Drive project electronic case management system to enable tracking of service user change, multi-agency working and risk management.
- Weekly maintenance and accurate and secure audit trail of all relevant communication.
- Comply with the data protection and information sharing protocols that Drive has agreed to.
Direct work with service users
- Maintain a proactive response to service users, continuously providing positive options for behaviour change throughout the service users time in the Drive project.
- Use combination of motivational work, relationship building and a broad range of therapeutic skills to engage service users to address their abusive behaviour.
- Motivate and support service users to address the broad range of needs that may contribute to the risk that they pose to others or act as barrier for them in addressing that risk. e.g. housing, substance use etc.
- To ensure that service users understand that the community and Drive project will ensure that they are accountable for continued use of abuse and abusive behaviour towards others.
- Ensure that there is a consistent delivery of services to the identified perpetrators of domestic abuse, including comprehensive risk assessment, support planning, referrals to other agencies and MARACs.
- Develop strategies that will disrupt the continued risk posed by service users
- Undertake assessment of risk, needs and attitudes to inform the individual service user’s intervention plan.
- Ensure that risk assessment and risk management procedures are followed at all times.
- Respect and value the diversity of the community in which the service works in, providing a service that recognises the diverse needs of service users and their families.
- Work closely with the IDVAs’ supporting the partners, ex-partners and new partners, and family members of service users in management risk and developing intervention plans, as set out in the Drive Manual.

Are you interested in working with a reputed international sustainability organisation to influence policy developments on sustainability globally? ISEAL is hiring a Senior Policy Officer to join our team responsible for public engagement and policy influencing. This is the perfect role for someone who is keen to work in an increasingly dynamic regulatory and policy landscape to strengthen the role of voluntary sustainability tools alongside emerging mandatory measures.
The core objective of the Policy and Engagement team is to support governments, civil society and other business influencers to understand, identify and use credible sustainability systems. We do this through direct engagement with relevant government bodies in priority countries, engagement with individual businesses and business platforms and building member awareness and knowledge about relevant policy files and implications of new policies for their schemes and impact. The team focused on the UK, Switzerland, EU-wide policy and key EU members states, as well as on countries in the global south, including Colombia, Indonesia, India and Brazil.
The Senior Policy Officer will help drive engagement with policymakers in key countries in which ISEAL and its partners have a strategic policy interest, with a view to influencing the policy narrative on sustainability and specific policies. The role will identify policy engagement opportunities and provide insightful analysis of policy developments and trends. In addition, the role will work closely with ISEAL members based in these regions to combine efforts and align on policy influencing.
The ideal candidate will have had exposure to working in an international policy context, either working as part of civic society with governments or as part of a government department. A strong grounding in sustainability issues and related key political and policy debates will be essential, along with some working knowledge of key policy trends in the human rights, climate and sustainability standards space. Prior experience in working in the EU, UK at policy and regulatory landscape or public affairs level will be an advantage. The Senior Officer reports to the Director, Policy and Engagement.

Policy and government engagement
- Support ISEAL´s strategic engagement with identified key policymaker targets and audiences from a policy influencing and role of voluntary tools perspective
