Transition Together is seeking to continue the work of deepening connection and growing the voice of the Transition Movement in England and Wales through the freelance engagement of three Network Weavers. This exciting project will see this team, supported by Transition Together staff, co-design an in person Transition Assembly early next year to guide the future of our Movement in the UK as well as build relationships with Transitioners across Wales and England and connect to emerging and established networks across the UK. These roles will be around two days a week for 10 months and the deadline to apply is 13 May.

Delphside Limited is entering an exciting phase of change, but is mindful of the challenges the mental health care and charity sector as a whole is facing.
To help mitigate this this, we are looking to enhance our Governance and control systems in terms of our financial and administration management.
The role is a temporary role (6-12 months) to help direct and support changes of financial systems, data control processes and to help ensure the current team, including our current Finance Manager, are supported with the implementation of a more up to date and effective way of working.
Ideally you will be a fully qualified accountant, but equally we would welcome applications from individuals who are qualified by experience or accredited qualification (e.g. AAT Level 4, ACCA/ACA qualified etc.) It is essential you have proven experience of delivering strategic leadership in finance, preferably (but not essentially) in the charitable sector and that you can deliver changes of processes and systems.
Knowledge of Sage and also XERO systems would be beneficial.
Main Responsibilities :
· Provide full review of current financial controls, identify and implement a new financial I.T./software system suited to service needs.
· Oversee the procurement, implementation and transition to the new financial I.T./software system once it is identified.
· The post holder will assist with the strategic planning and budget preparation for the organisation as well as maintaining the charity's financial accounting systems.
· To provide support to the Finance Manager by overseeing the preparation of the organisation’s accounts for audit in accordance with current accounting good practice and Charity Commission’s Standards of Recommended Practice (SORP)
· Lead, develop and support a small dedicated finance and administration team
· Long term financial planning and assisting the CEO with succession planning in the finance area of the service, including creation of a financial risk register.
· Assist in setting the annual budget and report on performance.
· Oversee timely production by the Finance manager of monthly management accounts and the annual statutory accounts.
· Ensure a robust financial control environment and ensure all treasury and Financial Governance management are in place, suitable and effective.
· The post holder will have responsibility to ensure the organisation is compliant with legal and financial duties associated with those of a Charitable Company reporting directly to the CEO and Board of Trustees.
· Provide proactive assessment of opportunities to deliver efficiencies in collaboration with department heads where necessary.

About the role
The Access Project is an evidence-based, data driven intervention. Central to our programme are the ways in which we use data to ensure each of our students receives the provision they need, to learn about how we can improve our delivery and to evaluate our impact on our students’ university prospects. We have developed sophisticated monitoring and evaluation systems bringing together data from a variety of sources to track students’ progress (impact management) as well as ascertain their outcomes (impact evaluation). We collect data on our students’ academic and socio-demographic background, their participation on our programme and progress on our bespoke university readiness scales, and their academic results and university destinations. We use this data to intervene in real time when delivery goes off-course but also to understand how The Access Project programmes affect student outcomes and publicize this impact externally.
As part of the Strategy and Impact Team, the Data & Insights Lead will be responsible for ensuring all teams have the right data and to deliver and monitor our programme in a timely and effective way. They will manage, analyse, interpret, and present data and information, most of it recorded on our Salesforce system, to enhance the quality of delivery, maximise the achievement of outcomes by participants and ensure that the project achieves the greatest possible social impact. They will also project manage distinct pieces of work ranging from system optimization to external reporting for impact-related projects and partnerships.
Duties and responsibilities
1) Ensure the efficacy of our monitoring & reporting systems
- Identifies required changes related to how we collect and manage data in Salesforce so that programme delivery data is available in the right format and at the right frequency to support decision making across teams and allow for accurate reporting.

Barnardo's are excited to be recruiting to a new post – a Wellbeing Practitioner who will be embedded within the Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children and Young People (UASC) team within Nottinghamshire County Council. BRAC UK is offering a 3 month paid internship this summer in memory of our colleague Helen Turner. This internship will invite the successful candidate into the exciting and fast-paced world of fundraising for a major global NGO, BRAC.
BRAC is a southern-led international development charity with the vision for a world free from all forms of exploitation and discrimination. By partnering with over 100 million people and working across 17 countries BRAC aims to empower people and communities in situations of poverty, illiteracy, disease, social and climate injustice. The interventions aim to achieve large scale transformative change through economic and social programmes enabling people to realise their full potential.
Working mainly alongside the partnerships team, the international development intern will learn about the entire fundraising cycle, from prospecting donors to contracts being signed. The intern will also gain experience of working within the communications and advocacy team, a crucial part of the organisation in raising the profile of BRAC.

London Region
St Christopher’s Learning Support Team are looking for a part-time (2 days) Senior Learning Mentor for the London Region to cover the London Accommodation Pathways (LAP) and other Services we provide.
About the Role
The Learning Support Team offers support to Teams helping young people to develop core skills – both practical and academic, widen their existing interests, and explore new ideas. You will be involved in delivering group and one-to-one sessions, Maths and English tuition, tailored to individual needs; working with the rest of the team around the young person to ensure all our young people are provided with appropriate access to education engagement.
We believe everyone has a right to learn in the way that suits them best, so there is no such thing as a typical anything about this job. Sessions can take place anywhere from the beach to the kitchen via the garden and the gym. As with all the other teams and services the unexpected is every day in this job –but with us that can take any one of a range of unanticipated directions, someone gets excluded, in the transition of a School place, an emergency placement by someone suddenly turns up or doesn’t as the case may be.
We are also looking for people to join our bank of sessional staff – a bit like being available at short notice, like Supply or doing some overtime. Applicants should have
- Evidence of education at a higher level (eg ‘A’ level, NVQ, BTec, Level 3 )
- Experience of assessing and analysing the needs of individual young people, of setting targets and goals through negotiation with them and through the collection of relevant data and information to support assessments.
- Experience of working with young people to support the achievement of their learning outcomes, particularly those who are underachieving, disaffected or have social/emotional barriers to their learning.
