In this role, you’ll be responsible for:

Strategy, vision and impact [25%]

• Be at the forefront of leading Resurgo’s ‘big picture’ vision of a transformed society, empowering churches to transform young lives
• Build and implement a strategy for developing relationships with local referral agencies to ensure effective recruitment of young people onto the Spear programme
• Oversee the reporting of the Centre outcomes and ensure the Spear Programme is delivered in line with agreed targets

Leadership, line management and training [25%]

• Lead your team with confidence; spurring them on in Resurgo’s mission; invest in a team culture of excellence, belonging and fun
• Manage and develop the Lead Coach and Graduate Coach, using a coaching approach to invest in their growth and development. This includes weekly 1:1s, performance reviews and regular feedback
• Equip your team to drive change through a data informed approach, and keep them accountable to agreed targets for the Spear Programme

Relationship management [20%]

• Manage great relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including referrers, local businesses, donors, and your Board of Trustees
• Embed into your local church; working closely with your Spear Trustees and congregation, and actively participating in their mission and events
• Partner with the Spear Trustees and assist in implementing their funding strategy by helping to build corporate and donor relationships. For example, by hosting prospective donors in the Training Room

Delivery of the Spear Programme [20%]

• Support group and 1-1 coaching with numerous 16-24-year-olds: equipping them with practical work-ready skills and resilient mindsets
• Provide guidance to the Lead Coach in the training room when dealing with behavioural and safeguarding situations and upskill coaches with consistent coaching feedback
• Use a coaching approach to engage young people in challenging conversations that will enable them to take responsibility and over significant barriers to employment

Operations [10%]

• Liaise with relevant staff regarding site operations and work to resolve any issues as soon as possible, ensuring the office and training room are safe and tidy working spaces in line with health and safety policies

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced ERP Programme Director to lead the successful delivery of MSI’s global finance and supply chain transformation programme. This programme will transform our capabilities and delivery across MSI’s 37 Country Programmes and Global Support Office (GSO) with the introduction of new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) technology, driving us forward to deliver our vital mission.

The Director will shape the overall programme from the outset, so that it is set up for success. The successful candidate will need deep transformation and ERP experience, delivering full ERP programme lifecycles in complex organisations like MSI. For the programme to be successful, building strong relationships with key stakeholders across MSI’s Country Programmes, Regional and Global Support Offices will be crucial.

The transformation programme has been approved and is currently at the inception stage, giving the ERP Programme Director the opportunity to make key strategic decisions that will shape the programme; such as the selection of an ERP technology solution best suited to MSI’s business requirements, appointing and onboarding a third-party implementation partner and to design and recruit the internal project team required to ensure success of the programme.

We anticipate a 3-year programme cycle with occasional international travel to MSI country programmes as required for the successful delivery of the programme.

To succeed in this role, it is essential that you have the following experience:

• Successfully delivered 8+ full-lifecycle ERP implementations in medium to large international enterprises. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics preferred but not essential.
• Strong track record in strategic transformation, change leadership and programme management delivering large programmes that have resulted in transformational change in the Finance and Supply Chain domain.
• Experience of overseeing complex multi-million pound programme budgets.
• International NGO and/or healthcare sector experience preferred but not essential.
• Experience driving operational efficiency in finance and supply Chain and implementing a framework for process standardisation and improvement.
• Experience delivering finance transformations involving shared service operating models.
• Extensive ERP vendor / system implementor contract management experience.

Formal Education / Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field expected, but we’d welcome applications from candidates with equivalent experience
• MSP, PMP or other relevant project or programme management certification expected
• Supply chain, logistics, or accounting certification preferred but not required

Details of the role

As the Head of Programmes, you will play a central role in Jangala’s evolution at this important juncture, leading Jangala’s efforts to provide critical internet access to those who need it most. You will build and lead the partnerships with a wide range of delivery partners, from UK councils to the UN and major aid agencies, that will facilitate Jangala’s growing impact around the world, as well as lead a team dedicated to building efficient and insight-driven programmes. Your leadership will ensure the successful implementation of our connectivity initiatives, and help achieve Jangala’s ambitious impact targets providing meaningful connectivity worldwide.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Lead Jangala’s overall programme delivery, building partnerships across the UN, NGO and public sectors to deliver internet connectivity to millions of people by 2028 

• Ensuring that our programmes are high-quality and impactful, delivering meaningful connectivity by implementing our M&E frameworks and conducting first level impact assessment

• Working closely with our Strategy, Insights & Advocacy Lead to develop and implement our M&E frameworks, ensuring we are accurately measuring our impact

• Work closely with our Project Delivery Lead, assuring the robustness of our programmes, and due diligence process - including in high-risk environments subject to special regulations and sanctions

• Working to make our programmes accessible and scalable, so that they can serve both major organisations and grassroots partners in line with Jangala’s principles of universal accessibility

Important details

Jangala’s office is based in London and operates a remote-first working policy. Travel to our London office will be required for collaborative work at least once a week.

Eclipse is looking for a competent, organised and experienced Finance and Operations Manager to join the organisation during a period of transition.  The Finance and Operations Manager will be responsible for managing the finance support service for the organisation together with operational support for Governance, Admin & HR.

This is an opportunity to play a vital role in the organisation as it develops and instigates an exciting and ambitious new set of plans over the next six months.  You will be working directly with senior leaders and trustees, and line-manage an Administrator utilising strong financial and administrative skills to manage the charity’s finances and day to day operations.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Purpose of the Post

• To Provide financial leadership and to be accountable for financial reporting to the leadership team, Board, and stakeholders.
• To be responsible for effective management of the day-to-day office administration, and HR processes.
• To undertake company secretarial duties to ensure compliance with statutory requirement and relevant legislation.
• To work directly with the leadership team and board supporting business planning, organisational development, and to ensure Eclipse meets its aims and objectives.

The Finance and Operations Manager is a key relationship for internal staff and suppliers as well as fielding enquiries from artists, partners and the general public.

Terms and Conditions

Reports to: Senior Change Director

Other reporting: Board of trustees

Line manages: Other administrative staff once recruited, external accountants, IT supplier

Salary: £35,000 gross per annum (pro rata if applicable)

Location: Working from home with some working from company office in Leeds with reasonable notice

FTE / Hours: Full Time (1.0 FTE) at 35 hours per week, plus a compulsory break for one hour. Part-time options of 0.5 to 0.8 FTE would be accepted.

Role responsibilities
The Finance & Operations Manager is responsible for:

Finance

• Preparation, monitoring, and control of the budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Provision of clear and timely management accounts to the senior team and Board of Trustees.
• Administration of the company’s financial systems through day-to-day bookkeeping including data entry, management of petty cash, processing of invoices and bank reconciliation.
• Liaising with the external payroll provider and payment of monthly salaries.
• Overseeing the preparation of the annual statutory accounts and management of the annual independent examination.
• Supporting in the delivery of an annual report or funder reports as needed, including Arts Council England NPO reporting requirements and quarterly payment conditions. 

Governance

• Leading on the arrangements for Board Meetings and Away Days: minute taking, writing and circulating agenda and documentation, post-meeting minutes and communicating with the Trustees pre-meeting on location, time and attendance.
• Regularly reviews the company’s policy making – ensuring the company maintains and abides by its policies e.g. Safeguarding, Health & Safety, Environmental and Staff Handbook.

Administration & HR

• Day to day responsibility for managing the HR function of the company.
• Keeping in contact with and responding in a timely manner to any queries from key stakeholders.
• Support the organisation to maintain key relationships and deliver report writing.
• General administration and office management lead.
• Management of the company calendar.
• Administration of company compliance and reporting to statutory bodies e.g. Companies House and the Charities Commission.
• Working as a central point of contact through phone and email.

JOB PURPOSE 

UK for UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency's national charity partner, is looking for an ambitious and proactive Corporate Partnerships Manager to join the Private Partnerships & Philanthropy team. 

In this exciting role, you will lead on the management of a number of our existing and new relationships with companies to create and grow mutually beneficial, multi-year partnerships, playing a key part in the success of our annual fundraising programme. You will enjoy developing strong relationships and have excellent communication and problem- solving skills. You will be a confident communicator with a track record of meeting and exceeding financial targets. 

You will line manage the PPH Coordinator, with responsibility for managing performance and supporting their development.

This role is predominately an account management post, with some new business development.

ROLE RESPONSIBLITIES 

• Lead on the management of a number of high value strategic corporate partnerships, liaising across departments and virtual teams to monitor, evaluate and report on progress against partnership KPIs, targets, activities and budgets. 
• Develop annual and multi-year budgets and plans for partners. 
• Identify opportunities for partnership visibility and communications, and where possible employee engagement. 
• Manage a portfolio of partnerships, providing first-class relationship management and maximising value, including financial, advocacy, pro bono and in-kind support. 
• Work with existing corporate engagement products and develop new employee fundraising ideas. 
• Research new trends and innovations and emerging areas of interest for corporate partners. 
• Remain flexible and quickly respond to emergency situations, identifying and responding to fundraising opportunities. 
• Initiate, organise and coordinate a calendar of cultivation and stewardship events and identify visibility opportunities for UK for UNHCR. 
• Manage the PPH Coordinator, ensuring they are develop and supported to deliver on performance targets.
