This is a hugely exciting opportunity to join Gloucester Cathedral as it enters a key period of development. We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and highly skilled individual to oversee our small but busy fundraising function, helping to develop and implement our Fundraising Strategy and deliver Cathedral’s Development Plan. You will oversee the depth and breadth of our Fundraising and Development activities, which includes the day-to-day running of the team, delivering our ambitious In Tune Campaign, leading on the development of future capital campaigns and looking after a portfolio of high value donors. You will also play an instrumental role in further developing new relationships with major donors.

We’re looking for a high performing team player with great communication skills, adaptability and an innovative approach to achieving ambitious fundraising targets of circ. £1.5m per year. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team you will help to deliver the Cathedral’s strategic vision and will be responsible for ensuring that our welcome values are lived out on a daily basis through the way that we engage with donors, supporters and partners.

You’ll be working closely with teams across the Cathedral - including our Music Team, Clergy, and Learning & Participation team - so the ability to form positive relationships with various stakeholders is crucial.

The ideal candidate will have:

· At least five years’ experience of working in a heritage or visitor attractions leadership role, with a proven track record of securing and growing income, delivering large scale fundraising campaigns and working with major donors

· Experience of line-managing and leading a staff team at a senior level

· Excellent time management and the ability to balance numerous priorities and deadlines

Tinnitus UK is the only registered charity in the UK supporting the one in seven adults who have tinnitus!  The charity has recently renamed and rebranded.  All part of the ambitious plans fo the charity to raise its profile and relevance even further, to reach and help more people than ever.  We are looking for a Fundraising and Events Administrator to provide administrative and operational support to the Fundraising Managers (Corporate, Major Donor, Legacy, Individual Membership, Trusts & Foundations) and to the Head of Services by administering donor and supporter records and assisting with events and general operational duties.

Main Responsibilities

Fundraising General (65%)

• Organizing and maintaining membership and donation data in the CRM database (Donorfy)
• First point of contact for supporter enquiries (email/phone)
• Taking telephone donations when required
• Flagging contact/donations to relevant team members

Events (20%)

• Monitor the events@inbox
• Monitor event bookings and process invoices as required

• Work across the Tinnitus UK team and assist in all areas of work
• Attend internal and external meetings, events and training
• Assist the office manager with bookings of meetings/conference venues for Trustee Board and other meetings/training days
• Organise travel and accommodation as and when required

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Essential

• Good basic education to GCSE standard or equivalent (GCSE grade C or equivalent in Maths and English)
• Entitled to live and work in the UK
• Experience of database administration (CRM desirable)

As well as driving positive change for people affected by terminal illness and bereavement in the workplace, Compassionate Employers is an important income generation stream and ‘door-opener’ for Hospice UK.

• Provide supporting information to clarify property status and request amended accounts to reflect this.
• Where necessary, investigate and respond to enquiries, including account queries, this may include enquiries from contractors, suppliers and other third parties.
• Challenge where necessary, to ensure value for money and quality of service from suppliers.
• Manage meter move requests and arrange prompt payment whilst liaising with all involved parties.

• Take responsibility for the day to day processing of payments across the Business team to include all departmental accounting functions in relation to works orders, purchase and framework orders, credit notes and invoices across charity and administrative company accounts, with particular focus to void costs, within required timeframes and in line with Service Level Agreements.
• Produce data uploads for finance transactions, ensuring accuracy of data and sign off completed data.
• Working collaboratively alongside our Finance and Resources partners to ensure prompt payment and when required, investigate queries that arise.
• Escalate issues and problems to managers when necessary to ensure payments are made on time, thus avoiding late payment fees and charges.
• Where necessary, engage with suppliers, contractors and customers ensuring that information is clear, concise and understood to achieve resolution.

• Support the management of the legacy mortgage scheme, supporting the Business Services Team Leader and Business Administration Officer (Mortgages), providing clarity and support on a range of queries and tasks.
• Manage quinquennial inspections in line with stakeholder agreements, refunding customers and producing monthly update reports.
• Develop knowledge and skills on mortgage redemptions, working closely with solicitors and customers to progress and complete sales and redemptions promptly.

• To ensure that data held in QL / SAP is complete, accurate and reliable through regular assessment of data using analysis and cleansing where necessary and to take personal responsibility for ensuring the accuracy of data and recorded information across all business streams.
• Produce stakeholder reports, business reports and information to enable transparency across the business, in line with agreements and compliance.
• Data management and entry for key information relating to insurance revaluations, working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure insurance values are periodically reviewed.
• Produce and take responsibility for mail-merge data to enable communication to customers and stakeholders as and when required.

Barnardo's are excited to be recruiting to a new post – a Wellbeing Practitioner who will be embedded within the Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children and Young People (UASC) team within Nottinghamshire County Council.  This new opportunity will be part of the larger Time 2 Talk team based within Nottinghamshire County Council's Leaving Care team.   

We are recruiting to one fixed term post of one year at 37 hours per week.  This post will be employed by Barnardo's and will primarily be based in Arnold.  However the post will involve travel across the County and potentially further afield depending on where UASC young people are located.Nottinghamshire County Council's UASC team works across children in care and leaving care services, and works with young people from the age of approx. 14 to 25.

We are looking to recruit 1 full time (37 hours) Wellbeing Practitioner for one year with the following qualifications/skills/experience:

• A professional qualification (Minimum Diploma level), with evidence of continuing professional development in a field relevant to child and young person mental health
• Registered with a Professional Body such as BACP, HCPC, UKCP, NMC
• Experience in supporting children and young people in one or more ways detailed below:

Person Centred Therapy

Integrative

Behavioural (DBT, CBT)

Counselling

EMDR

• An understanding of the challenges UASC young people face.
• An understanding of legislation and policies in relation to Safeguarding young people.
• A commitment to and understanding of the need to work with UASC young people in a trauma informed way.
• A commitment to working in partnership and collaborating with the Leaving Care team and Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust particularly the Transitions team, the Children in Care CAMHS team and Adult Mental Health services.
• Experience offering mental health support, consultation and interventions to young people and professionals working with them; ensuring the young person actively participates in planning their own support.

Legacy & In Memoriam Marketing Executive

About The Role

• Lead on the planning and implementation of legacy and in mem fundraising portfolio, managing marketing campaigns from initial brief through to post campaign analysis. 
• Develop and maintain sustainable relationships with in mem supporters and legacy prospects in local communities, with the support of community fundraising managers and local volunteers – keeping these supporters at the heart of your work to to maintain and increase their support through excellent stewardship. 
• Prepare and administer correspondence and relevant paperwork and ensure maintenance for full and accurate database (D365/First Class) records, analysing financial and non-financial data to monitor and improve engagement and customer service performance.
• Proactively keep abreast of competitor activities, new initiatives and sector trends. 
• Effectively plan and execute legacy events around the country, with the aim of motivating supporters to consider leaving a gift in their Will.

We are currently seeking a fixed term Grants Impact and Evaluation specialist to provide technical monitoring, evaluation, and learning knowledge to the Grants and Programmes Team and Battersea grantees. You will implement a philanthropic giving strategy that significantly shifts the museums approach towards the generation of substantial philanthropic income and that supports the Museum's vision and mission. You will work collaboratively with the Executive, Board of Trustees and senior leadership team to establish a long-term plan and supporting fundraising strategies that align and help the museum move forward with its objectives.

 Cultivate and Steward Donors

You will actively cultivate and steward relationships with potential and existing donors, for major new, repeat and legacy gifts, significantly raising the profile of Beamish, generating excitement and a desire to support Beamish now and into the future across a range of projects.  These will be supported by stewardship plans that foster mutual trust to secure ongoing support. 

Reputation and Engagement

You will build the profile of the Museum through donor engagement.  You will personally manage a portfolio of prospective donors, guiding them through the cultivation process, and ultimately securing new funding. You will work closely with the CEO building new networks, opening new doors and linking with communities in support of the museum's philanthropic goals and furthering its reputation and that of the sector.

Successful Philanthropy Team

You will ensure a high performing team is in place that supports Beamish’s Philanthropic strategy, imbuing a culture of innovation and enterprise across the museum. The team will ensure day to day delivery of the function, including to trusts and grants, provide excellent customer service, and produce timely data to support and measure the impact of all giving.  The team will champion equality, diversity and sustainability and creating a strong culture of philanthropy throughout Beamish. 

Essential Qualities, Experience and Knowledge

• Significant experience working at a senior level, building strong relationships with supporters who can give at a six/seven figure level.
• Demonstrable extensive networks, including trusts and foundations, corporate partners and high net worth individuals.
• Personal track record of securing six figure donations from Trusts and Foundations
• An excellent communicator who can inspire staff, volunteers and colleagues in taking our philanthropic strategy forwards.
