About the Role

Dreams Come True is seeking an ambitious, strategic and highly skilled Head of Fundraising to lead and expand its income generation and manage and drive a high performing team. This senior role prioritises the development and delivery of an ambitious major donor and individual giving strategy - cultivating, stewarding, and upgrading supporters, including high-net-worth individuals and regular donors. Reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with the Senior Leadership Team, you will diversify income streams, maximise philanthropic support, and ensure the charity's long-term sustainability whilst leading, managing, motivating and inspiring the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a growth-oriented fundraising strategy, with a strong focus on major donor fundraising and individual giving (regular giving, donor journeys, legacy giving).
• Build a robust pipeline of major donors, personally managing relationships with high-value supporters, cultivating new prospects, and maximising lifetime value through tailored stewardship.
• Oversee the design and execution of engaging campaigns and supporter journeys for individual and legacy donors.
• Direct and support building other fundraising streams (trusts & foundations, events, digital, community), setting ambitious yet achievable income targets.

Person Specification

Essential:

• Demonstrated success in major donor fundraising, including personally securing substantial gifts (five and six figures); proven ability to build from scratch, cultivate and maintain relationships with high-net-worth individuals.
• Proven expertise in individual giving, including donor journeys, donor retention and engagement, and developing bespoke campaigns.
• Strong leadership skills, with a track record of building, motivating, and developing high-performing fundraising teams.
• Up-to-date understanding of the fundraising compliance environment (Fundraising Regulator's Code, GDPR, PECR).
• Outstanding communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
• Analytical mindset and the ability to use data to inform strategy, track performance, and drive growth.
• Creative approach to stewardship, recognising, thanking, and meaningfully involving supporters at all levels.

A little bit about the role 

Location: Hybrid, 2 days a week expected in our London Office. Those living outside the M25 can opt to not receive London Office Allowance and agree a more flexible office attendance pattern at offer stage.

Salary: £59,087.34 (£63,219.29 inclusive of London Office Allowance) plus competitive pension

You will be working within the Curriculum Team which sits within the Chief Social Worker directorate. The team oversees the design and development of Frontline’s programmes, including the Approach Social Work three-year master’s programme and our in-house practice education training known as the Consultant Social Worker (CSW) programme.

The Principal Curriculum Lead for Practice Education and Social Worker Development will be responsible for Practice Education and social worker development, providing strategic leadership and academic direction for the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of the Practice Education CSW Programme and other training for students and qualified social workers. 

Some key responsibilities include:

• Provide vision and leadership for our Practice Education provision, ensuring programmes reflect professional standards, innovation, and best practice.
• Lead curriculum design and enhancement to maintain academic rigor, coherence, and alignment with PEPS 1 and 2 and Social Work England requirements.
• Lead and teach across the CSW practice education programme and Master’s Dissertation module, embedding innovative and research-informed pedagogy and contribute to teaching and assessment across other programmes.

A little bit about you 

We are looking for a qualified social worker, registered with Social Work England (SWE) who has a masters’ degree in social work or a related discipline, with substantial experience in social work practice and higher education teaching. You’ll have strong leadership and management skills, with an excellent understanding of social work values, ethics and professional practice frameworks including a strong commitment to equity, diversity, inclusion and social justice.

Join Our Team as a Facilities Housekeeper!

Location: Gilwell Park, Chingford
Hours: 20 hours per week – includes weekends and some shifts up to 6 pm
Contract: Permanent, Part-time
Salary: £14,237.14per annum – Band A, Level 3, inclusive of Outer London Weighting and Market Supplement (pro rata £24,915, Band A, Level 3, inclusive of OLW & MS)

What You’ll Be Doing as our Facilities Housekeeper

• Keep bedrooms, kitchens, and bathrooms spotless and welcoming.
• Dust, mop, vacuum, and sanitise – making every space shine.
• Support with event setups and help the team deliver great service.
• Report any issues and make sure areas are safe and ready to use.
• Restock supplies and keep laundry running smoothly.

What We’re Looking For in our Facilities Housekeeper

• A detail-focused, motivated cleaner who takes pride in their work.
• Friendly, reliable, and happy to work weekends or up to 6 pm when needed.
• Great communication and teamwork skills.
• Physically able to handle cleaning equipment and tasks.
• Able to manage time well and stay organised.

What You’ll Bring as our Facilities Housekeeper

• Experience in cleaning or facilities work (training available).
• Awareness of health and safety in a workplace setting.
• Willingness to train in First Aid, Fire Safety, and Manual Handling.
• Basic IT skills (Outlook and Teams).
• A positive attitude and pride in doing a great job every day.
