Location

What you'll be doing
Service management
- Provide strategic oversight of the design, delivery, and evaluation of CPD programmes, tutoring, and assessment services, ensuring they meet the needs of members, partners, and the wider sector
- Ensure all services are inclusive, evidence-informed, and of consistently high quality, embedding best practice in accessibility and pedagogy.
- Lead performance monitoring and evaluation, ensuring services achieve agreed financial objectives, demonstrate measurable impact, and deliver value for money.

What we're looking for
Essential
- Proven experience leading education, training, or professional services in a charity, education, or not-for-profit setting.
- Experience developing and growing income-generating programmes or services.
- Understanding of CPD, tutoring, and/or assessment markets.

Person Specification
- Experience in the charity sector, ideally in an arts or cultural environment;

Donor Support Officer (Maternity Cover)

About the Role
The Donor Support Officer plays a key role in supporting the Trust’s ambitions to grow and diversify its membership base. This includes providing efficient administration for individual and corporate donors, delivering high-quality customer service, and helping to strengthen member relationships through proactive engagement and milestone recognition. The role directly contributes to the success of the Trust’s urban nature conservation work by ensuring a positive and seamless experience for supporters.
You’ll be based at the Wildlife Trust’s Head Office at Centre of the Earth, 42 Norman Street, Birmingham, B18 7EP, with some work at our EcoPark site in Small Heath and occasional travel across the region and nationally.
Key responsibilities
·Provide administrative support for membership recruitment and fundraising campaigns such as upgrade campaigns, lead generation campaigns and fundraising appeals.
· Accurate data entry into the Trust’s CRM database, including communication records and changes to payment details, changes to Direct Debits information, gift aid declaration, contact information and marketing preferences.
· Prepare contact lists of new members and lapsed members, to either complete or coordinate welcome/leaver calls as appropriate
· Provide professional and high-quality customer service when communicating with prospective or active member and donor enquiries including via telephone and by monitoring the membership and other inboxes.
· Complete membership renewal processes including the handling of payment by cheques, cash and credit/debit card payments.
· Collate and issue new member welcome letters, welcome packs and Direct Debit confirmation letters in a timely fashion.
· Issue written and / or oral ‘thank you’ communications to members and donors.
· Stock management of member magazine resources and place orders with suppliers.
· Raise purchase orders for commission-based membership recruitment and process clawback claims accordingly.
· Support with the co-ordination and administration of member-only events such as AGM.
· Comply with the Trusts’ Data Protection Policy and ensuring confidentiality of all donor data.
· Maintain awareness of trends in the fundraising sector – particularly membership.

Dementia Concern is a long-established local charity providing life changing care and support to people living with dementia and their families across West London.

We are entering an exciting new phase. This role will be central to that transformation, shaping how we tell our story, engage supporters, and grow our impact.
We’re looking for a Head of Fundraising, someone who can design, develop and deliver our fundraising stratergy. Someone who can innovate and who can combine stratergy, can lean in and has energy to connect with people, and who sees potential everywhere. If you’re motivated by the challenge of shaping something lasting and meaningful, this role offers the chance to make a visible difference, both to the charity and to the lives of people living with dementia.
Reporting directly to the CEO, you will have both the freedom and responsibility to build a thriving, sustainable fundraising function, securing income initially from trusts and foundations and then corporates, philanthropists, individuals, and community supporters.
You will play a key hands-on role, supported by a fundraiser, volunteers, and an experienced and engaged CEO and Board.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy and Leadership
- Develop and deliver a clear fundraising strategy that diversifies income and builds long-term sustainability.

- Use the compelling stories of our frontline team and clients to engage, motivate, and retain supporters.
Trusts, Foundations and Corporate Giving

Individual Giving and Appeals

- Design and deliver the charity’s first major appeals — including digital campaigns, local community drives, and postal appeals — to attract and retain individual donors.
- Develop engaging donor journeys and opportunities for people to give regularly, locally, and meaningfully.
Community and Partnership Development
- Reconnect Dementia Concern with its local community through relationship-building, events, and partnerships.
- Represent the charity externally with warmth and confidence, growing our network of local supporters, volunteers, and champions.
- Work closely with the CEO and Trustees to build mutually beneficial partnerships with local businesses, groups, and influencers.
- Oversee the charity’s website and digital presence, ensuring our communications are clear, inspiring, and supporter focussed.
- Lead on campaigns and public relations that raise awareness of dementia and the charity’s impact in West London.
About you:
You will have experience in:
- Trust Fundraising and at least one of the following: corporate partnerships, individual giving, or community fundraising.

About the role:
We are looking for a very confident, outgoing go-getter who loves using their gregarious personality to influence and enthuse people to get results but also enjoys being organised with strong admin processes. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has been involved in influencing organisations, businesses and groups or individuals to organise range of fundraising events, such as gaming, auctions, quizzes, gigs. You will be a part of a small but dynamic marketing and fundraising team and working with an Events and Engagement Officer.
This is a critical role for generating essential funds for the charity. You will love a challenge and be goal orientated. It is a varied role, and you will be someone who loves to multitask; you may be emailing supporters or potential fundraisers, making action plans, promoting, contacting organisations, or attending and speaking at events. You will thrive in this role if you love being organised and doing admin, but love being “out and about” interacting, influencing and motivating people to fundraise for us. Please note that you will need to carry, load up and set-up event materials from our office to events, often on your own. It is essential you have access to transport and must have a full, clean driving licence. We are a very small team, so you will need to have the confidence and willingness to meet with organisations and attend events on your own.

Reporting to the CEO, you’ll directly manage four experienced team heads and oversee a high-performing team of 18 who generate bursary, unrestricted, and capital income. The role includes peer relationships internally within TAWS but to also hold relationships with Sport England, place-based strategic partners (Birmingham City Council , Sport Birmingham) and IWG World Conference on Women & Sport attendees In Unity, United by 2022 Legacy Charity and Saheli Hub . With the aspiration of the role aligning to the IWG Women and Sport programme, IWG World Conference on Women & Sport and European Athletic Championships hosted by Birmingham 2026.
In this role of Woman and Girls Lead you will be pivotal in ensuring that the organisation’s contractual obligations and goals are achieved by collaborating with communities and partner organisations in the design and delivery of interventions.
