We’re recruiting for a Policy, Public Affairs and Campaigns Manager to join our team in Northern Ireland.
We’re looking for an enthusiastic individual with experience in shaping policy and the ability to communicate the position of the MS Society in Northern Ireland and develop its profile to a wide range of audiences.
You’ll also act as a spokesperson for the MS Society in Northern Ireland and play an important role in developing our strategic approach to supporting people affected by MS. Helping us to ensure that our priorities align with the needs and aspirations of the MS community.
We’re looking for the successful candidate to be able to demonstrate that they understand the challenges that people with MS face. You’ll be mobilising the MS community in Northern Ireland to make a powerful case for continued improvement in the treatment, care and support of people living with MS.
You’ll be enthusiastic and passionate about the work we do, forge strong partnerships with key stakeholders and represent the MS Society at key meetings and events in Northern Ireland.

Aside from the 50+ young people we see every day at our day centre, New Horizon’s Outreach service also works with young people on the streets and in the community. The team works pan London to deliver a unique, youth-specific outreach service to young people currently or at risk of rough sleeping. We use our extensive housing expertise to place those young people into accommodation that is appropriate and safe whilst encouraging them to access the day centre to benefit from the wide range of services we offer. The Outreach Worker will work as part of Rough Sleeping Team to deliver at least two street outreach shifts per week and transitional casework to young people facing rough sleeping. You will need to be willing to work early mornings and late evenings, to travel across London to identify young people who need our support, and to work flexibly to respond to evolving needs. The ideal candidate will bring energy, creativity and a keen eye for detail. This is an exciting time to join the team as we look to refine our offer and pilot new solutions to rough sleeping.

The successful candidate will have accountability for several key areas of operational delivery of BITC’s programmes across England, Scotland and Wales. The Vacancy
We are offering this unique opportunity to support the Methodist Church in delivering its strategic plan to make the best use of its property portfolio in local communities across the country.
Working alongside the Director and colleagues within the Property Support team, you will be a crucial team member providing professional guidance and support to Trustees nationally. The Director of Finance Business Partnering (Operations) is a critical role within the Financial Strategy, Planning & Performance division that will lead, develop and deliver high quality finance business partnering and decision support to all the central services of the university, including providing financial planning, reporting and insight across revenue and capital funded activity.
You will support the senior Director of the Financial Strategy, Planning & Performance function in development and improvement projects. Examples include the development of a professional competencies framework to support career progression and performance at all levels, supported by learning and development opportunities, improving key processes, resource allocation and financial planning methodologies, and reporting on financial performance.
As part of the function’s senior management team, this role will lead a team of finance business partners who will provide outstanding partnering services to our central services including large functions such as Estates and Facilities, IT, Students & Education, Research Management and on other crucial ‘head office’ activities. Working closely with the corporate reporting team on the provision of management accounts, you will lead on financial performance support in-year and across our three-year financial planning framework. New Horizon Youth Centre runs a busy day centre from Monday to Friday, providing basic needs to young people experiencing homelessness and a one-stop-shop for housing advice, youth work activities, counselling, jobs, education and training support.
