Main Responsibilities:

Campaign Development and Management:

• Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns that align with the Charity's objectives and resonate with our target audience.
• Conduct thorough research to understand audience demographics, preferences, and behaviors.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify key messages and stories.
• Develop creative concepts, visuals, and messaging.

Digital Marketing and Content Creation:

• Develop and implement digital marketing strategies across various platforms, including social media, email marketing, website, and digital advertising, to maximise reach and engagement.
• Design and execute email marketing and donor campaigns.
• Optimise website content and user experience.
• Implement digital advertising campaigns across platforms.
• Generate compelling stories, testimonials, and case studies.
• Develop multimedia content and write persuasive copy for marketing materials, fundraising appeals, event promotions, and donor communications.

Brand Management, Data Analysis, and Reporting:

• Develop and maintain brand guidelines, ensuring consistency in messaging, tone, and visual identity across all channels and materials.
• Monitor brand mentions and sentiment online.
• Conduct periodic brand audits.
• Champion the Charity's brand values and mission.
• Set up tracking mechanisms and analytics tools to monitor campaign performance.
• Analyse data to assess campaign effectiveness and audience engagement.

The role of Operations Manager sits within the Management Team.

The Role

The role of Operations Manager is critical to the long-term sustainability of the charity and plays a pivotal part in ensuring that we remain both relevant and necessary.

This role involves:

• Oversight and responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of guest services

Person Specification:

Essential Requirements:

• Strong HR background in terms of leading others and managing HR matters/employee relations
• Demonstrable experience of working to targets and delivering quality outputs collaboratively with others
• Confident and sophisticated communicator
• Strong customer/supporter focus, with excellent interpersonal skills
• The ability to manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced customer focused environment
• Financial and business acumen – ability to draft budgets, report on variances and interpret financial data
• Strong report writing skills
• Knowledge and experience of facilities management and health and safety, including food hygiene, risk assessments and policy writing
• Confident and proficient in the use of IT systems as a user admin/super-user level

The Role

One of the primary core initiatives will be the delivery of a mentoring scheme for our members with an inclusivity focus.

To be shortlisted for this post, you must have:

• Excellent Project Management skills and experience

• Demonstratable knowledge of the EDI space, leading practises and ideologies

• Previous experience of working with members/volunteers including in an advisory and secretariat capacity.

• An understanding of and preferably experience of managing mentoring schemes.

Experience of working in a membership organisation or knowledge of the engineering profession would be advantageous.

Dogs Trust are going through a period of growth, with recruitment for two Senior New Partnerships Managers due to the existing Lead getting an internal promotion. There are continuing plans to drive new business through long-term strategic partnerships.

The Senior New Partnerships Manager will play an active role in winning new partnerships to support international and UK-based work. Alongside the Deputy Head of Partnerships, you will work closely with the prospect research and special events team, and line manage a New Partnerships Manager.

Home based within Northern Ireland, with travel to UK team away days, staff conferences and 1-2-1

Through management of the policy and public affairs function in Northern Ireland, the Policy & Public Affairs Manager will ensure the Trussell Trust strengthens its influence in Northern Ireland and helps bring about the policy changes required to end the need for food banks. 

Using specialist policy knowledge about the structural causes of poverty and hunger in Northern Ireland and the UK, and sound political and procedural knowledge, the Policy & Public Affairs Manager will ensure our policy influencing has a robust evidence base and manage advocacy strategies to achieve policy change at different levels of government, with a particular focus on national government in NI (Stormont) and ensuring close alignment with the Trussell Trust’s work to influence the UK Government (Westminster). 

Role responsibilities 

• Strategy: Support the Northern Ireland Network Lead in the development and delivery of the Changing Policy strand of the Trussell Trust’s organisational strategy, with a specific focus on the role of key stakeholders in NI in ending the need for food banks, and supporting the alignment of policy advocacy across the UK nations and regions. 

• Policy advocacy plans: Establish and maintain momentum in policy advocacy plans for the Trussell Trust in NI, and inform wider influencing across audiences, through strong internal networks. 

• Policy and public affairs:  Support the Northern Ireland Network Lead with developing and implementing the Trussell Trust’s policy positions on priority issues and public affairs activity in support of our changing policy goals, including impact measurement. 

• Research and analysis: Undertake research and analysis and disseminate research findings to a range of audiences through written and verbal briefings, working collaboratively with the Research and Operations teams to build a robust evidence base for the organisation’s policy and public affairs activity in NI. 

• Partnerships and networks: Build collaborative external partnerships and develop networks to strengthen policy and public affairs activity in NI and represent the Trussell Trust and promote the organisation’s policy positions to external stakeholders and audiences, including NI Government and the media. 

• Campaigns: Work with OLM colleagues and the Northern Ireland Network Lead to ensure campaigning activity supports and strengthens policy and public affairs work, and the organisation amplifies the voice of the food bank network and people with lived experience of poverty.

• Policy expertise: Demonstrates a detailed understanding of policies that affect poverty and hunger in NI and the UK. Can explain policy motivations of the main political parties and can advise on how most effectively to influence them. Track record of developing policy positions and recommendations based on robust evidence, and delivering strategic policy and public affairs activity from development to evaluation. 

• Public affairs expertise: Can explain components of effective political influencing, including detailed knowledge of the machinery and structure of government (UK, NI, local) and experience of informing campaigns activity to mobilise support for policy change. Track record of successfully influencing politicians and key decision-makers across the political spectrum, building broad based support to achieve strategic goals at different levels of government. 

• Managing projects, particularly for policy and public affairs purposes, with a clear understanding of key steps in the project cycle.

This is an opportunity to join Refuge as a Service Manager to support women and children who are impacted by domestic abuse and other gender-based crimes. In this role you will provide line management and support to staff who work with and help women and their children who have experienced domestic abuse and are staying in our Lambeth refuges. Our Lambeth refuges are culturally specific services for women and children of African and Caribbean heritage. This will include providing supervision on complex casework issues such as child protection, overseeing operational emergencies and ensuring high standards of casework.

Please note that this post is restricted to women due to the nature of the role. The Occupational Requirement under Schedule 9 (part 1) of the Equality Act 2010 applies. This role will also require an enhanced DBS check.

Here at One Million Mentors, our aim is to ensure that every young person in the country has access to a trained mentor as they transition into adulthood. We believe that investing in mentors will help to address the skills gap agenda and improve social cohesion.

This is one of two Regional Manager roles in London; a Regional Manager for Volunteer Mentors, and Regional Manager for Programme Delivery.

The Regional Manager for Volunteer Mentors focuses on mentor supply, securing sufficient volunteers primarily for London and also for 1MM’s national outreach. It’s the perfect role for a candidate whose passions and strengths align with large scale outreach for volunteers so that no young people on those programmes miss out.

The role is responsible for overseeing high-quality sourcing of volunteers to join as 1MM Mentors, in London and nationally. This includes partnership development, online site listing, and matching mentors/mentees, and oversight of some corporate programmes. Also to consider safeguarding measures, fundraising, meeting growth targets and leading all aspects of mentor management. The role will help to establish a pipeline in line with 1MM’s aspirations for 2024 and beyond.  This role reports to the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO).

1MM Regional Manager for Volunteer Mentors main tasks include:

• Helping 1MM to scale by helping establish over 150 new, high quality mentoring matches each quarter. (A match means that the mentor and the mentee have completed 1MM’s training and have had their first meeting)

• Meeting all quality assurance KPIs.

• Maximising conversion, retention, and mitigate drop-off

• Providing ongoing support for key stakeholder partners, including Employers, and maintaining strong relationships.

• Securing at least one new partner per quarter.

• Becoming familiar with the 1MM Platform, using it comfortably for ongoing administration and providing support to users.

• Providing regular reports on progress related to the role.

• Potential for line-management responsibilities as the team grows.

Terms and Conditions: This is a full time role offered in London, for 6 months (continuing subject to funding). This is a hybrid role with two days working at home, two days in the London office, and one day where it is up to you.

Remuneration and benefits: Salary bracket of £29,000 per annum plus London Weighting (pro rata), up to 6.5% employer pension contribution and 25 days holiday per year (pro rata).  We also offer monthly team Learning and Development training sessions, and 15 hours volunteering allowance per year.

The MEAM coalition has worked for fifteen years across more than 50 local areas in England, supporting local partnerships to tackle the structural and systemic issues that cause and sustain multiple disadvantage. We run the national MEAM Approach network, supported Fulfilling Lives from 2014-2022 and hold the current support contract for the Government and The National Lottery Community Fund’s Changing Futures programme. This new role will be responsible for leading the implementation of our new network membership structure, and ensuring members are supported to actively participate in the MEAM Approach network. As the Membership Manager, you will build relationships with our network members, oversee communications to the network, manage our online community platform, and identify ways in which we can further support network members through commercial opportunities.  You will combine your deep knowledge of multiple disadvantage with a curious and collaborative approach to your work, demonstrating a genuine interest in developing and contributing to the growing knowledge and experience in systems thinking and systems leadership across the team.
