About the role
Our adviser teams work within local areas providing a wide range of expert information and guidance, via a variety of channels including community settings. You’ll provide a personalised service that enables appropriate levels of self-advocacy and/ or advocate on behalf of clients, signposting to other services as relevant.
You’ll empower people affected by Parkinson’s, their families and carers to live lives that are as fulfilling as possible and to take an active role in their treatment becoming their own advocate in health and life, wherever possible.
The contract for this role will be fixed term for six months.
What you’ll do:

	Provide in depth, person-centred information and guidance to clients by a range of means, including community settings, and ensuring the most efficient and effective use of resources in line with service policy

	Respond to enquiries through a range of channels and areas based on service need, keeping accurate, up to date online client records in line with practice

	Make best use of time in providing an effective client service 
- 
	Recognise and respond to potential safeguarding situations using established procedures

	Provide information on a variety of health and social care issues, including appropriate emotional support, employment and welfare benefits guidance and advocating with and on behalf of clients

	Answer client enquiries professionally using a jargon-free approach and within established timescales

	Maintain relationships and partnerships with internal and external teams and in a range of settings and ways to achieve the best outcomes of clients

About the role
Volunteers are vital to Parkinson’s UK; they provide high valued support and services through local branches, groups and cafes. This rewarding role provides the opportunity to work directly with volunteers, together making a positive difference to the lives of people affected by Parkinson’s.
You’ll act as the main point of contact and support for volunteers in local branches, groups and cafes. As part of an integrated regional team, you’ll contribute to shared plans and priorities. Working remotely and in person, you’ll provide the highest quality customer care and support volunteers in line with the charity’s governance requirements, as well as our policies and procedures. You’ll provide high quality business support to colleagues to promote volunteering opportunities and bring volunteers together in the local community.
What you’ll do:
- 
	Provide excellent customer service to local group volunteers through remote and in-person support. 
- 
	Be the main point of contact for colleagues seeking support to recruit volunteers in the community as part of a regional team. 
- 
	Support volunteers to lead their groups in line with governance requirements through provision of information and relevant tools. 
- 
	Support our local group volunteers with reviewing and planning their activities (including associated budgets). 
- 
	Manage volunteer records using online tools such as the volunteer management system, local activities database, for example.

	Support events and meetings which bring volunteers together in the community.

	Promote and facilitate volunteer recruitment, induction and training to local volunteer roles.

About the role
You’ll play a vital role in the timely and effective delivery, developing and delivering training and adoption plans to prepare users for the release of Salesforce Non-Profit Cloud, Findock, other integrations and reporting.
You’ll keep users and benefits realisation at the centre, helping us become Fit for the Future, realise our goals around income generation and supporter experience.
What you'll do
- 
	Enable technical and business users to adopt the new solution, processes and ways of working into business as usual. 
- 
	Assess knowledge, skills, barriers and training needs in the business and for technical users of the new platforms. 
- 
	Collaborate with the CRM project teams, Business Lead and Salesforce implementation partner(s) to develop a training and adoption strategy and plan, aligning with the build and release of the new platforms and associated changes to process and user roles. 
- 
	Design and deliver training and adoption engagements for the implementation of Salesforce NPC, and Findock. Make necessary adjustments based on feedback, effectiveness and the audience. 
- 
	Prepare training content to build appetite with users from the early stages of delivery right through to adoption at go live and reinforcement of skills in hypercare. 
What you'll bring
- 
	Significant experience delivering training programmes when implementing CRM/ERP/data platforms 
- 
	Strong record of tackling technical concepts and working with business and technical stakeholders to adopt software solutions and work with customer data

	Experience of delivering training and adoption activity in Salesforce CRM, NPSP and/or NPC 
- 
	Practical understanding of change management principles and adoption processes (e.g. PROSCI/ADKAR)

We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Education, Training & Events Manager to develop and deliver professional education opportunities that raise awareness of bladder health and improve care.
You will take ownership of our calendar of study days, annual conference, and our webinar programme, while building strong partnerships with external organisations. The role also includes shaping and managing digital learning resources, enabling professionals to access high-quality training and educational content beyond live events. This is a new and exciting role with scope to grow, innovate, and expand our educational impact across a range of audiences including urologists, GPs, physiotherapists, urology nurses, occupational therapists, and addiction teams. For the right candidate, there is real opportunity to shape how Bladder Health UK delivers education in the future and to build your own profile in the healthcare education space.
Key Responsibilities
Event Management
- 
	Plan and deliver 2-3 in-person Study Days and 1 main conference per year tailored to healthcare professionals 
- 
	Develop and run a new “Skills Day” with practical, hands-on training elements 
- 
	Manage all logistics: venues, registrations, speakers, sponsorships, delegate materials 
- 
	Deliver regular online webinars with healthcare professionals and patients (with support from the team) 
- 
	Work with the team to evaluate events and ensure content is of consistently high quality 
- 
	Draw on support from our specialist nurse (available to support you a few hours a week) for programme planning and clinical input 
- 
	Coordinate additional support from volunteers or interns where appropriate

	Plan and deliver an annual fundraising event

	Plan an annual online or in-person sufferer education day 
Partnership Development
- 
	Research, approach, and secure corporate sponsors and exhibitors to support BHUK’s education events, ensuring income targets are met and relationships are managed professionally

	Explore joint training opportunities with aligned charities and organisations (e.g. MS Society, Parkinson’s UK, Spinal Injuries Association)

Digital Learning & Resources

Person Specification
Essential:

	Proven experience in delivering professional or CPD-accredited events (virtual and in-person)
