This role is responsible for delivering on three key areas of the major donor programme:
-Managing and growing a portfolio of major donor and high value supporters. Specifically focusing on encouraging and making the ask for long-term, multi-year 5-6 figure gifts.
-Driving major donor new business activity to build a sustainable pipeline using internal data analysis tools alongside network mapping exercises.
-Working collaboratively across the team to provide tailored stewardship journeys and experiences which build meaningful relationships with our closest supporters and demonstrate the impact of their support on our mission.
About You
· You will have a track record of securing philanthropic donations and growing major donor pipelines.
· You will be a brilliant relationship fundraiser, able to build relationships, garner trust and inspire action.

As the Philanthropy Manager, you will join a collaborative fundraising team and focus on building upon existing and new relationships with major donors to secure income and support. Joining a team of six this role will have great support and will work towards a seven-figure team target. To be successful as the Philanthropy Manager you will have proven experience in building and securing relationships with individuals capable of giving gifts of a four, five or six figure level. This person will ideally be passionate about the work IRC delivers and be excited to work with a collaborative team to achieve their fundraising goals.
This role is a full-time permanent position that will have hybrid working in the London offices 1-2 days per week. The salary for this role is £45,000.

We are seeking a Philanthropy Proposal Writer, on a one-year fixed appointment to cover maternity leave. World Child Cancer is seeking an experienced corporate and philanthropy fundraiser to join our growing team and play a vital role in improving the chances of survival and quality of life of children with cancer in under-resourced countries.
About World Child Cancer
Over 400,000 children worldwide develop cancer each year. Childhood cancer is most often curable, with over 80% survival rate in high income countries. However, in many low-and-middle-income countries survival rates are often 25% or lower.
World Child Cancer’s goal is to help redress that inequity and improve the chances of children with cancer to survive and thrive in under-resourced countries. We currently work with local hospitals in 12 countries in Africa, Asia and Mexico to enable children with cancer to have equal access to the best possible treatment and care through awareness raising on signs of childhood cancer, providing financial, logistical and emotional support to address barriers to access treatment, training of healthcare workers and advocacy.
Overview of the role
This newly created Senior Philanthropy and Partnerships Manager role will play a key part in raising income from companies and philanthropists to help achieve World Child Cancer’s mission.
You will be passionate about enabling children with cancer to have equitable access to quality treatment wherever they are born. We are looking for someone experienced in corporate and philanthropy fundraising, who is proactive, confident in engaging with high value funders, able to develop strong internal and external relationships, has strong verbal and written communication skills, a collaborative way of working and experience in developing new business.

Position: Philanthropy Lead - Stewardship
Location: Cambridge/hybrid (2 days per week in the office)
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum (depending on skills and experience)

About the Role
The Philanthropy Lead joins an energised and committed major gifts team covering trusts and major donors. You will have significant ambitions for developing and sustaining relationships with new and existing donors giving up to seven figure gifts.
This role is key to leading excellent stewardship of donors and the management of the recently re-launched 1766 Circle of benefactors. You will ensure that the organisation communicates the impact of it’s work by creating a compelling and thoughtful stewardship plan. You will then deliver excellent communications and touch points with some of the closest supporters to ensure they feel connected to and inspired by the charity.
Ultimately the role will lead ACT’s philanthropy stewardship programme through establishing slick systems, sympathetic and thoughtful donor engagement and a pragmatic approach to project management.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to have high standards of personal communication (written and oral); an excellent attention to detail; experienced in managing timelines of projects; and you will need to be a kind and professional team colleague. About the role
As Philanthropy Manager (Health), you will manage a portfolio of prospects and develop bespoke solicitation plans focused on raising philanthropic income at the five-figure and low six-figure level from a variety of income streams to support UCL's health and medical fundraising priorities.

This vital role works alongside the Head of Philanthropy as we look to build our philanthropic partnerships over the next five years and beyond, with a particular focus on our High-Net-Worth Individuals (Major Donors). This important role will seek to develop our Major Donor income stream, seeking to grow both numbers of donors and income raised.
