About the role
Based within the People Team, this role will be responsible for delivering an excellent recruitment experience for all candidates and supporting them through the vital first six months of their journey with the Charity. You will manage all recruitment systems, administration, and relationships with external recruiters, while leading improvement projects to ensure we provide the very best onboarding experience possible. In doing so, you’ll play a key role in shaping a culture of belonging from day one - helping new team members feel supported, connected, and set up to thrive - so we not only hire the right people, but retain them

Other responsibilities include
People Operations
- To keep all employment records up to date and ensure files are appropriately filed, in particular recruitment and onboarding and process any contract changes promptly.
Recruitment
- Create an interactive and clear recruitment process from advertising to hiring stage, working closely with the wider People team to develop and deliver an excellent recruitment and retention strategy
- To act as a first point of contact for all recruitment enquires and requests received externally or internally, ensuring that these are dealt with promptly and professionally.
- Work closely with hiring managers on recruitment campaigns including supporting on writing JDs, uploading adverts to the applicant tracking system and various job sites, and liaising with the Marketing & Communications team on placing job adverts on social media platforms.
- Spearhead active recruitment and ‘headhunting’, using tools like LinkedIn, taking responsibility for helping us find the very best talent
- Keep up-to-date records of all recruitment and monitor diversity of applicants and produce frequent reports on interest, candidate experience and diversity, in line with our EDI commitments.
- Shortlist applications for vacancies, where requested and organise all aspects of online and in-person interviews
- Work with hiring managers to develop the best possible interview and assessment tools to ensure we are hiring the right people for the right roles.
- Develop and manage a group of ‘bank staff’ to cover short-term operations vacancies
Onboarding
- Take responsibility for the onboarding of new team members which will include pre-employment checks and all corresponding onboarding activities, offer e-mails, and liaising with line managers regarding induction plans and probations.
- Provide comprehensive in-person inductions for all new starters
- Carry out regular check-ins with new starters during their induction period, supporting them to settle in to their new role and helping them to tackle any challenges, via “stay” interviews and other formal and informal methods
- Working with line managers and new starters to ensure that all probation paperwork and activities (such as mandatory training) are completed on time.
- Reporting any trends or data to the wider People team and working with them to address any concerns, escalating issues to other members of the team as appropriate
- Offboarding: Conduct exit interviews with departing employees, tracking reasons for leaving to inform future recruitment and retention strategies.
Information Systems
- To maintain and accurately update the integrated payroll and employee self-service information system ensuring all new starter files are up to date, inputting information and any changes in a timely manner.
- To prepare the monthly payroll as requested using information stored on the system and ensuring supporting documents are in place for any system and contract changes, working with the People Officer as appropriate.
General
- Champion wellbeing and EDI within the organisation by promoting a positive environment and culture for team members to work in and thrive.

Experience

Qualifications

We are looking for a digitally-savvy, creative and data-driven Digital Fundraising Officer to help drive income and supporter engagement across all digital channels. This is a new and exciting role within our growing fundraising and income generation.
You will be responsible for designing and delivering effective digital fundraising campaigns – from planning and copywriting, through to creative development, audience targeting and performance analysis. You’ll manage content across Hourglass’s fundraising webpages, and support the delivery of integrated, multi-channel campaigns that raise vital income and increase the visibility of our mission.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:
Campaign Development and Delivery
- Plan, deliver and evaluate digital fundraising campaigns, including appeals, donor journeys, social media fundraising, and community giving.
- Produce engaging, emotionally resonant content that is tailored to different audiences and channels.
- Coordinate campaign creative across email, website, social media and advertising platforms.
- Develop and test different formats and approaches to increase supporter conversion and retention.
Website and Digital Content
- Coordinate fundraising content for the Hourglass website, ensuring pages are user-friendly, up to date and optimised for conversion.
- Collaborate with colleagues across all teams to create informed narrative and ensure consistency in messaging and visual identity.
Design and Creative
- Produce high-quality and on-brand graphics, animations and digital assets using tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
- Support the development of campaign visuals and branded fundraising materials for use across platforms.
Supporter Journeys and Data
- Build and optimise email supporter journeys using CRM and email tools (e.g. Donorfy, Mailchimp).
- Track supporter engagement using Google Analytics and CRM data, feeding insights into campaign development.
- Ensure all supporter data is handled securely and in line with GDPR and Hourglass’s internal policies.

INTRODUCTION TO THE ROLE
This is an exciting time to join Girls Not Brides as we are currently in the process of reviewing our strategy for the next 5 years. The Senior Officer- Executive Office plays a vital role in providing high-level strategic, operational and administrative support to the Chief Executive Officer. This position is central to the smooth functioning of the CEO’s office, enabling the CEO to focus on leading the organisation effectively and with impact. The ideal candidate will be proactive, exceptionally organised, discreet, and able to anticipate needs in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
In addition to supporting the CEO directly, the Senior Officer- Executive Office will also play a key role in facilitating the CEO’s engagement with the Senior Leadership Team and the Board of Trustees. This includes contributing to strategic planning, project coordination, internal communications, and leadership governance processes.
ABOUT YOU
We are seeking a Senior Officer- Executive Office with strong experience supporting CEOs, senior leaders and Boards. You will be proactive and independent: an instinctive problem-solver with experience in designing and deploying easy-to-use systems and processes to support effective communication and project delivery within and beyond senior leadership, the Board, and wider team members.
You will support leadership to prioritise projects and tasks in a complex, fast-paced environment. This role requires sound judgement, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage sensitive information with professionalism and confidence. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic and Project Management
- Assist the CEO in tracking strategic priorities and ensuring deadlines are met.

- Manage and update the CEO’s social media handles (e.g., LinkedIn, Twitter/X), in coordination with the Communications team, to reflect the strategic positioning of the organisation.
- Monitor media and public engagement metrics related to the CEO and propose content ideas aligned with organisational goals.
- Represent the CEO’s office in internal and external engagements with professionalism and confidentiality.
- Support the CEO’s participation in global forums, strategic partnerships, and high-level convenings.
Governance and Leadership Coordination
- In close collaboration with the Director of Operations and Finance, support the Board recruitment process, including conducting due diligence, managing conflict of interest declarations, and ensuring robust compliance and documentation.
- Lead the planning and coordination of induction and onboarding for new Board members, including the facilitation of any required training such as safeguarding, governance responsibilities, and organisational policies.
- Support the review and update of the organisation’s Articles of Association, working in liaison with legal counsel to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and alignment with organisational priorities
- Liaise with SLT members to ensure the effective delivery of Board and Committee meetings, including preparing high-quality papers and presentations, maintaining records, tracking actions, and supporting timely follow-up.
- Provide executive support to the CEO, including coordinating AMT, SLT and Board meetings, minute-taking, managing follow-ups, and ensuring team-wide communication flows smoothly.
Executive Support
- Act as both a gatekeeper and gateway to the CEO, exercising sound judgment in managing access and prioritising engagements, while nurturing trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment, efficiency, and strategic connectivity.
- Ensure the CEO is well-prepared for meetings by providing timely and accurate briefings, agendas, relevant materials.
- Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to coordinate meetings, events, and engagements involving the CEO.
- Manage the CEO’s global travel, events and calendars.
- Manage CEO expenses and budget-related documentation and ensure accurate financial tracking for the CEO’s office.
Internal communications

PERSON SPECIFICATION
Essential experience
- A minimum of 7 years extensive professional experience in a similar role working directly with a high-performing leadership team and Board.
- Significant experience managing Board and governance processes, documentation, and communication flows.
- Strong track record in internal communications processes for diverse, multi-cultural teams.
- Advanced level in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Exceptional and demonstratable experience with or knowledge of project management tools/ software and management systems and procedures.

JUSTICE is looking to recruit an Interim Head of Governance and Operations to join our friendly, values-led team. This is a fixed term post for 12 months (maternity cover) and provides an exciting opportunity for someone who has experience of governance and operational management.
We are looking for an individual who has an interest in the purpose of the charity (to improve the UK justice system so that it is fair and within everyone’s reach), as well as a keen interest in taking responsibility for a diverse and wide range of tasks from providing and overseeing the secretariat functions related to our governance and risk as well as leading in important cross-cutting areas such as audit, budget management and providing HR support. This role will really suit someone who enjoys working with people, is comfortable with a degree of autonomy and who thrives in a role where no two days are the same.
This role plays a central role in the workings of the organisation including with our Policy Team, our Comms Team and our Development Team. They also join Senior Management Team meetings and all Board and Committee meetings. The role currently line manages one direct report but this may be increased to two and reports into and works closely with the Chief Executive. This role also leads on the relationships with our accountants (who deliver our financial management and accounting functions) and other external contractors.
JUSTICE is a law reform and human rights organisation, working to improve processes and policies to support everyone, particularly marginalised groups, be able to seek justice or a remedy when their rights have been breached or the law has been broken. We also seek to improve the justice system as a whole, ensuring that laws are clear and consistent and that the government and other key decisionmakers are held to account.
We are a founding member of The Justice Hub, which is situated next to St Paul’s Cathedral. in London. We also have staff based in other locations including in Manchester, Sheffield and Edinburgh. All team members are expected to join the ‘in-person’ days in the office (roughly 5 days a year) but otherwise we encourage and support flexible working. In addition, this role requires a minimum of 5 days per month working in our London offices. Alongside flexible working conditions, every member of staff is entitled to 27 days annual leave plus an additional two days of leave to look after your wellbeing and to celebrate your birthday. We also close the office between 25 December and 1 January (inclusive), which is addition to the annual leave mentioned above. We review salaries according to inflationary changes on an annual basis, contribute 8% to your pension for the first 2yrs, rising to a 10.5% contribution thereafter and offer generous parental and dependency-related leave. Join us as a Funding Officer and you’ll have the opportunity to make a real difference to communities across the region. Working as part of the Yorkshire and the Humber team as part of a team of 20 colleagues you will combine hybrid working - either from home, our Leeds office adjacent to Leeds station, or project visits, to understand how and where amazing people and organisations are transforming neighbourhoods.
If you have previous experience for a funder, then that is great but it’s not a necessity.
- You will need to be confident with comprehension and writing because you will be working with those applying for grants to advise and support them as necessary to develop proposals including project budgets.
- You’ll work with your colleagues to assess and recommend projects for funding. Some days you’ll be attending funders fairs, in person or online, whilst on others you may be meeting with Councils or other funders to share information about need and funding in a particular neighbourhood.
- You’ll also have responsibility for overseeing a portfolio of projects to ensure they are on track. If you have experience of the voluntary sector that would be ideal, particularly in the Yorkshire and Humber region.

The Role
This role is to publicise the work of the diocese to clergy, laity, communities and parishioners, and shine a light on their endeavours and successes. The team tells the stories of 808 churches and their communities while supporting the other teams and departments in the diocese in sharing their news and projects.
You will play a key role in delivering on-brand and engaging content and will develop, edit, project manage, design, and copy write communications across a wide range of channels. You will work closely with colleagues across the organisation to develop messaging, design, and tone of voice that is appropriate to the audience/channel while ensuring the highest possible editorial standards.
There is occasional weekend and evening working, so some flexibility is essential. Meeting deadlines and prioritising projects will be a core part of this role. The organisation operates a hybrid model, so 60% of your hours will be in the office.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and deliver a multi-channel individual giving operational plan that supports donor acquisition, retention, and re-engagement, across online and offline platforms.
- Take ownership of a portfolio of lower-value (up to £5k) trusts and foundations, including community foundations, and contribute to the development of applications for mid-tier funders in collaboration with the Income Generation and Fundraising Lead.
- Maintain and update the income generation pipeline, tracking donor and funder stages, communications, deadlines and actions, and supporting internal reporting.
- Undertake regular prospect research to identify potential new individual donors, corporate partners, community groups, and trusts/foundations, maintaining a prospect tracker with recommendations for cultivation.
- Design and deliver fundraising campaigns and activities tailored to individual donors, including regular giving opportunities, payroll giving, donor clubs and high-net-worth cultivation.
- Manage the processing and stewardship of all individual donations and enquiries – including prompt and appropriate acknowledgements, follow-up, and personalised engagement activity.
- Maintain and oversee the fundraising CRM/database (e.g. Donorfy, Raiser's Edge, Salesforce), including updating records, running reports, creating segments, and supporting targeted communications and mailouts.

What the job involves
We’re looking for a Black Health Equity Engagement Officer to join our Black Health Equity and Engagement team. The team plays a key role in supporting our community engagement work by building trust and strengthening relationships with Black community organisations and leaders across the UK. The aim is to raise awareness of prostate cancer risk within Black communities and help reduce the health inequalities experienced by Black men.
As a Black Health Equity Engagement Officer, you’ll be providing the logistical support to Prostate Cancer UK’s Black Men’s Advisory Group - who provide insights, support and guidance to the charity to help us address Black health equity. You’ll attend a wide range of community events and identify ways to spread awareness and build trusting relationships with groups, organisations and networks.
By building an understanding of the ways which health inequalities impact Black men affected by prostate cancer (and their families) you’ll establish effective and efficient working practices and gather data capturing the impact of this work.
You’ll get to meet a wide range of supporters and work with Black communities to ensure their lived experiences shape our work and help to increase our number of Black volunteers to increase awareness. You’ll also get to work with different teams across the charity and act as a source of knowledge for our work in tackling health inequalities.
What we want from you
We’re looking for candidates who understand health inequalities and is able to explain how they may impact Black men affected by prostate cancer. Knowledge of, or previous involvement in health awareness initiatives would be beneficial for this role, although we also value transferable skills gained from other sectors.
You’ll have experience in organising meetings or events that cater to a diverse range of participants, ensuring that various perspectives are heard and valued, especially within Black communities.
You’ll have a proven ability to build and maintain trusting relationships with a wide array of stakeholders. Furthermore, you’ll be a great communicator, especially when engaging with community stakeholders.

About SOFT UK
SOFT UK is a national charity supporting families affected by Trisomy 13 (Patau syndrome) and Trisomy 18 (Edwards syndrome). We provide emotional support, information, advocacy, and community connections to ensure no family faces this journey alone.
Purpose of the Role
The Regional Engagement Officer (REO) for Northern Ireland will build and strengthen SOFT UK’s presence in the region. This includes supporting families, developing local community networks, enhancing relationships with healthcare professionals, and coordinating volunteer and fundraising activities to reduce isolation and improve support access for families affected by Trisomy 13 and 18.
Key Responsibilities
1. Community Engagement and Support
