Prospectus has been appointed as an approved supplier for the London and Southern Universities Purchasing Consortium (LUPC/SUPC), which includes over 100 organisations in just London alone. As a result of this, we anticipate an uplift in the amount of exciting temporary opportunities we will have available to offer candidates in the higher education space.

We are currently looking to increase our pool of higher education academic candidates who are interested in registering for future opportunities. Candidates will have had previous experience in academic roles within Higher Education (e.g. Lecturer, Teaching Fellow, Researcher etc.)

Our client, a leading London University are currently looking to recruit a temporary Exams Support Assistant on a full-time basis (35 hours per week). The post will be looking to start as soon as possible and will run until the 24th of May.
This post will take on a variety of tasks associated with script delivery, including printing, and packing of scripts/materials and tracking them on the delivery logs. There may also be light invigilation/admin duties to undertake if working from ExCel.
Candidates must be willing to travel to ExCel as required or may need to travel to ExCel in the morning and then to another site depending on the deliveries.
To be considered for this post you will have:
- Admin experience, particularly MS Excel, Teams, and SharePoint as all the systems and procedures run on this.
- A flexible way of working, who can muck in with a variety of tasks as this is an exceptionally busy time for them
Please note that flexibility will be required around working hours, dependent on the site you are at on the day as the exams that are running will be at different times. As you will be on timesheets you will naturally be paid for additional hours worked.

Camphill Village Trust is seeking a new Data Officer to join their team. Camphill Village Trust is a UK charity that supports over 600 adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health issues, and complex needs across nine communities and services in England through supported living and day placement opportunities.
A significant aspect involves managing the Charity’s IT hardware and software to ensure they meet the organisation's needs, including planning upgrades and coordinating IT training events. Additionally, the role covers managing telecommunications and ensuring compliance with data protection regulations. It also involves working closely with the Head of Finance and external companies on new IT developments and data protection policies, ensuring the Charity's practices align with GDPR and other regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate would have experience providing IT support, be organised, have strong communication skills, and have a good understanding of Office 365 systems. Our client, a leading London University, is currently looking to recruit a full-time (35 hours per week) Senior Assessments and Faculty Liaison Officer. The post is to start as soon as possible and is a 1 year fixed-term contract. The post will be hybrid working of 1 day per week on site (Wednesday), and the rest remote.
Key responsibilities for this post will include:
- Collaborating with faculties and central teams to maintain accurate, up-to-date assessment records using the Student Records Management System (SITS)
- Importing student assessment data
- Liaising between faculties and central services to provide guidance on the university’s processes, procedures, and regulations
- Supporting the production and issue of all official university certificates and transcripts, and issue of all replacement certificates
- Managing the authentication of degree certificates and transcripts, and the HEDD (education verification) process
To be considered for this role you will have:
- Worked in a similar post previously, ideally from within a higher education setting
- Good working knowledge of the student management system SITS, and processes surrounding this, which can be from areas including: Programme Administration/Student Records/Assessments/Examinations.
- Excellent administrative skills
- Excellent IT skills, including MS Office suite of products and the ability to use bespoke systems
- Knowledge and understanding of GDPR practices regarding confidentiality of personal information

Our client, a leading London university, is looking to recruit a full-time (35 hours per week) temporary Programme Officer to support them during this busy time. This post will be Monday-Friday, and the post will be eligible for hybrid working, normally 2 days per week onsite, although on occasion 3 days may be required for covering the enquiries desk. Flexibility will be required, and preferred days can be requested for being onsite, although is not guaranteed, as will be dependent on business needs. They are looking for someone to join them as soon as possible, and will be ongoing for now, so would anticipate 3 months +
In this post, duties will include the following:
- Respond to students’ and academics’ enquiries (face-to-face and via email) within agreed timeframes.
- Process assessment extension/deferral requests.
- Work with senior programme officers to support student assessment processes.
- Facilitate student module selection processes.
- Use systems and databases (e.g. student records systems and virtual learning environments)
To be considered for this post, you will have worked within a similar post, including the following criteria:
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Ability to work as part of a team and relate to a broad range of stakeholders in a professional and assured manner.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to draft documents and correspondence.
- Strong numeracy skills and the ability to analyse complex data.
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Excel) and the ability to quickly learn new systems.
