ELMS consists of 4 supported houses, a small floating support service and a day programme for adults experiencing severe, enduring mental health problems. The service is commissioned to provide longer term placements, with varying lengths of stay. This role involves travelling between the houses and working some weekends.

About the role:

Project workers will work with clients at their own pace to develop their independent living skills as much as possible, manage their prescribed treatment, develop their living skills, develop & manage relationships and build social networks. Where possible you will assist them to access education, training or employment, by completing comprehensive needs and risk assessments with clients and identifying short-term objectives.

As a Project Worker you will take part in all aspects of the day to day running of the schemes, working as part of a shift from Monday to Sunday.  You will be required to work with clients effectively; providing support via structured key working.  You will also carry out assessments including risk assessments and goal setting via SHP support planning.  All Support plans will aim to promote SHP’s values and practices.

You will be responsible for implementing holistic support strategies to address the emotional, practical and housing management needs of residents of the project. This includes assisting residents with maintaining their mental health, practical daily tasks and maintaining a safe, clean, living environment.

The role will form a pivotal position within the schemes as Project workers are the point of contact for daily events. This might include structured group work, you will also support the project leads with activities and support case-holders to carry out allocated tasks.

• A working knowledge of severe and enduring mental ill-health, and the interventions and effective approaches to supporting individuals experiencing such conditions.

We have an opportunity for a Locality Officer (Housing Officer) to join our team covering Southampton / South Hampshire.

You'll manage your own diary with a mix of working from home, office and out with our customers. Your office base can be from our new satellite office in Southampton, Basingstoke, Greenham or Christchurch

Your role

You'll be delivering a professional and high-quality mixed tenure service within tenancy management and neighbourhoods to our customers, using your knowledge and skills to resolve a range of housing management challenges.

This could include anti-social behaviour, housing and neighbourhood issues, contract related breaches or changes, fraud and safeguarding.

You'll be an integral part of ensuring our neighbourhoods are safe, whilst listening to our customers needs and making changes when needed.

You'll balance your caseload with projects, shaping sustainable communities that develop an inclusive environment for our customers.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• The ability to proactively manage a complex caseload 
• Strong communication skills with previous experience of working with customers in a demanding environment.
• Experience in providing an Excellent customer service, contributing to us achieving a 90% customer satisfaction rate
• Previous experience, or a knowledge of delivering housing management services
• Experience of using computer systems, for example Microsoft Office
• The ability to establish, develop and maintain effective working relationships with all work colleagues, contractors and partnering agencies
• Some of the roles will involve line management responsibilities for our Scheme Officers operating in our Housing for Older People schemes.

No two days will be the same, whether it be receiving inbound calls and emails or customer enquiries. A vital element of the role will be processing all stock donation calls that the Help Desk receives, and then contacting the relevant field staff for a final action plan. Your support in all aspects of customer and shop enquiries will be crucial to the Divisional Sales Manager to ensure the Division's administrative operations are run efficiently and cost effectively.

This opportunity will require you to have strong IT skills, especially Excel and the ability to collate accurate information from a variety of sources to supply to the Retail Division.

This role is based at the Warrington office.

We currently have an immediate excellent opportunity for flexible and proactive individual to join our Nightingale Home from Hospital service, which provides support to older people over the age of 65 living in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames on their return home from hospital or when they have become unwell in the community.

The team is involved in organising and delivering tasks which facilitate a speedy hospital discharge / make the home safer to avoid readmission and avoid admission in the first place. This includes preparing the home for discharge; fitting keysafes; moving furniture; shopping; arranging travel and providing advice.

The role will involve:

- Managing a caseload of clients.

- Developing a holistic plan of support, and directly delivering aspects of it.

- Liaising with hospitals, social workers, volunteers, family members, carers and other voluntary sector organisations and services.

- Administration related to the delivery of the service.

We are looking for an individual with experience in a health or social care related field, has an understanding of the challenges facing older people upon leaving hospital, has access to their own transport and is able to undertake physical tasks associated with preparing the home for discharge. We're looking for an experienced UX Designer to join our Digital Team and help shape the online user experience for the British Heart Foundation (BHF). 

In this role, you’ll be focused on work coming from our Retail Directorate. This includes our popular ‘book a collection’ service, our house collection service, our online shop, and our online defibrillator shop.

You’ll be responsible for enhancing our digital customer experiences by conducting thorough user research, identifying trends in user behaviour, making recommendations based on UX insight, delivering creative design concepts, and adhering to best practices.

The BHF is focusing on digital transformation to enhance personalised customer experiences, increase fundraising income, and provide support to people with heart and circulatory conditions in the UK. 

The Digital team collaborates with the wider Marketing, Fundraising, and Engagement team to develop and optimise digital experiences. 

Working arrangements

This is a blended role, where your work will be dual located between your home and our London office.

The Bike Project (TBP) is looking for a Marketing Executive to join the Fundraising & Marketing Team.  This role will focus on delivering marketing activity to help drive fundraising donations, increase income through retail sales, and boost engagement with our audiences. 

This is a key growth area for TBP, and the post holder will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing across a range of channels, including social media, email, search, and advertising. We are always exploring new avenues for obtaining fundraising income, and this role will work closely with the Marketing Manager to execute marketing campaigns that achieve this goal. The Bike Project has an entrepreneurial culture stemming from our online and physical bike shop, which raises considerable income annually. This post will contribute to encouraging sales through targeted marketing activities. At a key development time in the Marketing function of our organization, it’s an exciting period where we are exploring new opportunities for driving fundraising, income, and engagement. The post holder will be encouraged to harness their creativity to generate new ideas and work collaboratively with the team to execute them.

We are looking for two individuals to help deliver an impactful GOALS service across London and build effective networks of support for people before, during and after treatment.

A main aspect of the role will be to support and work closely with individuals presenting with lived experience of gambling harm issues and/or people affected by this issue. The GOALS Supporter will understand gambling related harm and dependency issues and be able to ensure safe working environments and take a robust lead on safeguarding and harm minimisation procedures and policy.

The post holder will work with the Director of Support Services and GOALS Coordinator to support the development and maintenance of the systems and structure of the service, ensuring that governance and polices are implemented, safeguarding and safe working practices are systematic and develop a clear understanding of how the service integrates with the national gambling treatment service.

Other support activities will be developed, such as group support and weekly meet ups.

The post holder will develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, deliver presentations and other promotions within community, education and health centres to help grow and develop the service.

Location: The role is home-based with regular travel across the country (Herefordshire, Yorkshire & Suffolk)

Salary: Circa £70,000

 The 3 existing gardens in the portfolio, are effectively the ‘shop window’ to the charity. As such, the continued development of the gardens as profitable visitor attractions is an integral part of their 5 year strategy and critical to their future. 

Key responsibilities include:

• Working as part of the Senior Leadership Team across the totality of the organisation including collaboration with the Board, the Chief Executive and Senior Managers to define scope, goals and project deliverables.
• The development and execution of a strategy for each garden and aligned operational plans ensuring projects align with the charity’s strategy.
• Working in collaboration with Marketing & Fundraising team and the respective garden managers, to set and work towards achieving sales, membership and visitor targets.
• Taking overall accountability for the day to day running of the visitor attractions including but not limited to the management of the cafés, shops, memberships and events to maximise profitability.
• Effective team management fostering a collaborative environment and optimising team performance.
• Managing resources and considering how they can engage effectively with the local community, the public and other local organisations.

The successful candidate will have significant experience in the management of a visitor attraction (preferably in a horticultural setting), with the ability to think clearly and strategically. Commercial acumen with a proven track record in the development of existing income streams and the identification and maximisation of new ones is crucial, as is a detailed understanding of best practice associated with visitor attractions and the ability to analyse data to make informed decisions and develop innovative solutions. Exceptional management and team working skills with the ability to effectively communicate at all levels and build towards a shared vision is also a must.

You will also need to maintain a high standard of accurate and up to date records and undertake necessary administrative procedures, including supporting our regional teams.

An important part of this role is working in a way that promotes safety and wellbeing. You will identify and act appropriately where there are issues of risk, including safeguarding and refer to the relevant service leads and external agencies where appropriate.
