The Stewardship and Events team, with the Senior Stewardship and Events Manager leading, plays an important role in transforming our high value fundraising through the development of transformative funding propositions, high profile fundraising and stewardship events and the creation of the highest quality stewardship tools.

This role will be a crucial part of the High Value Partnerships leadership team and represents a fantastic opportunity to support the growth and development of our major donor, trust and statutory and corporate partnerships portfolios.

About You

You will have experience of building compelling cases for support, bids and partnership concepts specifically for major donors, companies and grant funders. You will have a flair for translating complex information into simple concise and compelling communications in a range of formats. You will also have excellent attention to detail, with experience of interpreting financial and impact data.

You will have experience in developing a special events programme to support engagement and high value fundraising; understanding the importance of events within high value stewardship plans.

Your excellent relationship building, influencing and negotiation skills combined with your experience of working with a range of internal teams and external stakeholders will ensure that the needs of our high value funding audiences are met and understood.

You will be a highly experienced people manager and leader, possessing strong relationship and project management skills. You will have excellent organisational skills and the ability to work across a number of conflicting deadlines and priorities. You will ideally be able to demonstrate fundraising experience and previous experience of working with high net worth individuals and committees is advantageous.

Flexible, proactive and enthusiastic, you will have excellent communication and influencing skills, and be comfortable adapting confidently to a wide variety of social settings. 

About the Role

As Senior Stewardship and Events Manager, you will be leading on the creation of ambitious funding propositions which will be attractive to high value donors and funders, working with key stakeholders from across the organisation to fully understand our existing services and transformational projects; translating complex information into compelling cases for support to be used by our High Value Partnerships team in funding applications, pitches and proposals. You will work closely with Recovery Services, Data and Insights and Finance teams to ensure all relevant information is gathered and reporting and evaluation processes are in place.

Working with your team and the wider High Value Partnerships team you will develop a special events programme to support engagement and fundraising, as well as leading on the development of developing engaging and relevant donor and prospect communications. You will work alongside the High Value Events Officer and other High Value Partnerships Senior Managers to conceptualise, plan and deliver a range of event types, offering a variety of activities to engage and inspire high value supporters, and ensure they are connected to, and inspired by, the work of Help for Heroes.

You will support our relationship management teams across High Value Partnerships to embed and further develop the high value stewardship strategy to ensure those who support Help for Heroes at the highest levels enjoy an exceptional supporter experience.

World Child Cancer is seeking an experienced corporate and philanthropy fundraiser to join our growing team and play a vital role in improving the chances of survival and quality of life of children with cancer in under-resourced countries.

About World Child Cancer

Over 400,000 children worldwide develop cancer each year. Childhood cancer is most often curable, with over 80% survival rate in high income countries. However, in many low-and-middle-income countries survival rates are often 25% or lower.

World Child Cancer’s goal is to help redress that inequity and improve the chances of children with cancer to survive and thrive in under-resourced countries. We currently work with local hospitals in 12 countries in Africa, Asia and Mexico to enable children with cancer to have equal access to the best possible treatment and care through awareness raising on signs of childhood cancer, providing financial, logistical and emotional support to address barriers to access treatment, training of healthcare workers and advocacy.

Overview of the role

This newly created Senior Philanthropy and Partnerships Manager role will play a key part in raising income from companies and philanthropists to help achieve World Child Cancer’s mission.

You will be passionate about enabling children with cancer to have equitable access to quality treatment wherever they are born. We are looking for someone experienced in corporate and philanthropy fundraising, who is proactive, confident in engaging with high value funders, able to develop strong internal and external relationships, has strong verbal and written communication skills, a collaborative way of working and experience in developing new business.

You will join a small but ambitious and high performing team that contributes significantly to World Child Cancer’s annual income of c. £2m.

About the role 

This is an exciting opportunity to work with Sustrans as part of our Strategic Communications team. 

As the Internal Communications Officer you will work collaboratively with diverse teams across the organisation, to schedule and produce a range of inspiring, informative and engaging internal communications.

We seek a Development and Grants Senior Officer to support our funding applications and grant reporting for Blue Ventures’ Indonesia programmes. The successful candidate will work with the Head of the Gambling Action Lab (GAL) and the Senior Research Officer to bring together a handful of representatives from financial services firms to explore ways to reduce gambling-related financial harms. They will build and maintain stakeholder relationships and play a key role in facilitating group discussions with financial services representatives. This exciting role will also involve driving and promoting the work and visibility of the GAL, and planning and delivering a programme of events to promote our work.

This is an exciting time to join the organisation. We are a growing team, and with momentum building to address gambling-related harms, our work has never been so vital. Role Overview:
The Talent Set is thrilled to working with a leading international development charity as they hunt for an Internal Communications and Engagement Officer to support them for a 2–4-month period.

This role will involve implementing key changes to support the organisation's vision of empowering employees through enhanced engagement and effective communications, while also leading internal communications strategies and ensuring alignment with diversity commitments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Central point of contact for internal inquiries, providing advice and support, escalating when necessary.

Person Specification:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating accuracy and a sharp eye for detail, along with the capability to produce high-quality content.
• Excellent IT literacy in Microsoft Office 365 (such as Office suite, SharePoint Online, Viva Engage, Stream Sway, Power BI).
• Highly organised, able to prioritise, plan and manage own time and workload.
• An innovative self-starter, creative with a willingness to try new ideas.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to engage and collaborate with a wide variety of contacts across the organisation.
• Ability to work across cultures and time zones, and with people for whom English is not a first language.

CDP’s development team is ambitious, dynamic and at the heart of everything CDP does. As a Senior Manager, Philanthropy, you will focus on developing and managing strategic, high-value relationships with Trusts and Foundations. The Senior Manager will play a key role in developing and implementing a global fundraising strategy at a key time of organizational growth. Reporting directly to CDPs Head of Philanthropy, you are an independent thinker who can help grow and sustain grant funding from Trusts and Foundations.

Who you are

• Must reside and be eligible to work in the locations stipulated above.
• You have a proven ability to build and manage philanthropic donor income streams, maximising the value of existing and prospective supporters.
• You have a proven track record of relationship building to secure grants at seven figure and above level. 

• You have 5 or more years of fundraising experience, preferably with Foundations or High Net-Worth Individuals.
• You are able to understand diverse donor motivations and deliver a bespoke relationship to meet these and have demonstrable skill in adapting written and verbal communications for a philanthropy audience. 

• You have excellent face to face, interpersonal, negotiating and persuasive skills. 

• You are an effective communicator.
• You are confident working with senior stakeholders internally and externally, using tact and diplomacy. 

• You have extensive experience of bespoke proposal and report writing for a philanthropy audience.

Your day-to-day

You will support the execution of CDPs philanthropic fundraising strategy. 

You will manage a portfolio of strategic, high-value donors, building strong relationships and implementing creative solicitation plans to maximise donor engagement and income.

You will research, develop and secure funding from new donors, with a strong focus on funders with a potential to give 7-8 figure grants. 

You will develop an excellent knowledge of CDP’s work, liaise with colleagues to prepare and present high-quality information such as tailored presentations and proposals for the donor. 

You will build excellent external working relationships at all levels with donors, their staff and networks in order to directly influence their decisions.

You will build excellent internal working relationships to engage staff at all levels in supporting donor stewardship to manage prospective and existing donors effectively.

About the role

As Senior PR Manager, you will play a crucial role in raising the profile of Save the Children UK amongst key target audiences, by developing and delivering projects that command media attention and coverage. As a member of the PR, Artist & Broadcast team, you will be able to apply your experience working with the media to shape major fundraising and influencing campaigns and build our brand. Some stakeholders you will work with include high profile ambassadors, influencers, and partners. To be successful in this role you will lean on your excellent verbal and written communications skills and have a strong network of contacts to help share the work of Save the Children UK.

In this role, you will:

• Work closely with team members in other departments within Save the Children to provide excellent PR support for delivering Save the Children's objectives
• Develop and execute mass-market PR plans that amplify key strategic campaigns and initiatives across the calendar year, including brand, fundraising and advocacy priorities
• Identify and maximise opportunities to generate reactive media coverage, responding effectively to external events, news and the cultural conversation 
• Write, co-ordinate and issue media releases, statements, briefing materials and Q&As, including for high-profile spokespeople and corporate partners, if required 
• Develop and nurture close working relationships with journalists (especially those on features, women's, lifestyle, showbiz outlets) across print, digital and broadcast media - including a diverse range of outlets beyond mainstream media
• Represent Save the Children as spokesperson externally, networking and building relationships that support brand building activity in the media.

About you

To be successful, it is important that you have:

• Significant operational experience in mass-market PR, as a print or broadcast journalist, or equivalent professional media communications experience
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and external contacts across diverse cultures, disciplines and time zones
• Solid experience developing and implementing PR campaigns for corporate clients, including cause-related events, co-branded marketing activity, global campaigns
• Excellent working knowledge of the media landscape – including national broadcast and press, women's, showbiz, tabloid and digital media – with a network of journalistic contacts.
• Excellent writing skills, including the ability to write and edit engaging copy for a range of audiences, across traditional and new mediums
• Ability to do ‘on call' rota work at weekends and out of hours
