We are looking for a Prospect Research & Donor Insight Manager to join the National Theatre Development Team.

The purpose of the role

This role is an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of fundraising at the National Theatre, as we look to grow our income from individual members, major donors, trusts and corporate organisations.

Working with the Senior Prospect Research & Donor Insight Manager, you will develop a strong fundraising pipeline that will ensure the team can reach their long-term targets.

Your natural curiosity will lead you to identify new opportunities using a variety of online sources in combination with the NT’s database, Tessitura, and you will be able to articulate your recommendations to fundraisers in a concise and compelling way. With excellent attention to detail, this role also undertakes due diligence research into potential funders to assess any risks to the NT of accepting funds. This role also manages the Development Operations Assistant, who leads the day-to-day administration of the Development database.

The role has scope to offer insights across the whole Development team and NT senior management, and would suit a strong collaborator with enthusiasm for the work of the NT.

The successful candidate will have the following: 

• Experience of managing prospect research projects and supporting prospect pipeline management in a fundraising environment.

• Experience of Tessitura or other customer relations management systems.

• Proven ability to gather and interpret information for relevance from a variety of sources.

• An appreciation for donor motivations and ability to make thoughtful connections with projects.

• Evidence of the ability to present information in a clear and concise manner, both written and orally.

Job description

We’re looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Senior Development Manager to identify new funding opportunities and develop high quality funding proposals that generate income for CSE’s work in line with CSE’s strategy and objectives. The successful candidate will nurture new and existing partner, client, and funder relationships.

Pay and conditions

• The role is full-time, 37.5 hours per week (minimum of 30 hours to be considered for the right candidate).
• The starting salary for the role will be grade H £41,802 - £50,071
• Flexible, hybrid working permitted for this role with a minimum of two to three working days presence in the office expected.

Specific responsibilities

An applicant appointed to the role will be expected to:

• Work effectively with others to develop funding proposals for CSE projects.
• Lead the response to competitive Invitations to Tender, which require a specific and timely response to a client’s brief and the ability to highlight and sell relevant CSE strengths and expertise.
• Support our development process by giving direction, supervision, and support to all contributing staff.
• Work with delivery teams and colleagues to set project budgets, costing work accurately using CSE’s development and financial tools.
• Ensure effective set up of new projects and facilitate the handover when a project bid has a successful outcome.
• Ensure appropriate quality checks are carried out on all proposals.

All CSE staff receive training and are given study time to complete the NEA City & Guilds in Energy Awareness.

Essential attributes for this role include:

• Minimum Maths and English GCSE
• Extensive experience in a project development or fundraising role with a proven track record of securing funding for projects or services.

Senior CRM Database Officer

Mencap have a fantastic opportunity in the CRM Database team.  We are looking for a Senior CRM Database Officer to work on BAU data process improvements, complex SQL selections, data imports and CRM training.  Mencap are seeking a highly skilled database professional who wants to join a vibrant and dynamic team that is passionate about making the UK the best place to live for people with a learning disability. This is an exciting time to join the team, as Mencap are currently in the early stages of a CRM Migration project, to transition from alms NET to Salesforce. 

As the Senior CRM Database Officer, you will combine your strong CRM technical and analytical skills with excellent communication skills to ensure that all our internal & external stakeholders are presented with accurate, accessible data.  You will work within the Fundraising Operations team (FrOps) providing quality CRM data related support and advice to Fundraising CRM users in line with team service levels and performance targets.  In this role, you will identify, implement and write up process improvements; develop & deliver complex data campaign mailing selections & analytics to Fundraising CRM system users for direct marketing purposes; provide support and cover for data import processes and deliver training and procedure guides.  You will also maintain and develop our CRM data systems, ensuring our data accuracy & integrity meets all Fundraising compliance standards. 

This is a permanent full-time role. We offer flexible working with at least one day per week (Tuesday) based in our London office near Aldgate East, Aldgate and Liverpool Street stations.
