Job description and person specification

This is an exciting and varied role that encompasses all aspects of our fundraising activity and will support the development of relationships with our individual donors, Trusts and Foundations, Corporate Partners, and Community/Faith Groups. Our ideal candidate will have experience of working in a charity or other related organisation, in a fundraising and / or marketing team, and will bring relevant, transferable experience to apply to this role. You will work closely with the fundraising team to research, steward, and help secure funding and on your own initiative. Your work will play a key role in enabling our mission to help unlock lasting freedom among women who have survived trafficking, exploitation and other forms of violence.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development of our individual giving programme including the planning and delivery of fundraising appeals and campaigns.
• Ensure donations are promptly acknowledged and recorded on our fundraising database, Donorfy.
• Lead the development of our use of Donorfy to record and report on our fundraising data, and manage donor relationships.
• Support the planning and delivery of key fundraising events including our annual Gala fundraising event.
• Conduct periodic and ad hoc prospect research on previous and prospective funders and identify new funding opportunities under the supervision of the Trusts and Foundations Grants lead.
• Support the Trusts and Foundations Grants lead to maintain a calendar of deadlines and reporting requirements
• Coordinate periodic mail outs to Trusts and Foundations in the small/general category.
• Support the cultivation and stewardship of corporate supporters under the direction of the Head of Fundraising.
• Assist with developing corporate partnership proposals, and other communications including periodic newsletters and social
• Help coordinate volunteer opportunities for our corporate partners
• Provide general admin support for corporate partners and corporate enquiries.
• Build relationships with local community and faith-based groups, providing support and materials for community-led fundraising activities.
• Represent the organisation at relevant events or meetings, when appropriate
• Contribute to team planning, reporting, and income forecasting
• Note take at team meetings and chase actions.

Clifton College Education Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Director to join our senior leadership team. This is a pivotal role, responsible for all financial matters across the College and its component entities.

You’re organised and reliable, able to manage a busy workload and keep on top of deadlines. You pay close attention to detail and take pride in producing accurate work, especially when reporting back to funders.
You’re someone who works well with others. You’ll enjoy talking to our teams in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland to understand what they need and how funding can help. You’re curious, committed, and care about making a difference to people’s lives.

Main purpose of post
To provide high-level, confidential administrative and strategic support to the
CEO and Deputy CEO, enabling them to focus on leadership priorities by
managing their schedule, communications, and key relationships—while also
supporting governance functions and ensuring smooth coordination with the
Board of Trustees and senior leadership team.
Co-ordinate and service all Board of Trustee meetings and committees to ensure
the charity is effectively governed. You will provide support to the Trustees as
required.

Support the Senior Leadership Team by co-ordinating and servicing meetings,
creating and monitoring action logs and administering the Risk Register.

Key Responsibilities

Executive Support:
 Provide proactive administrative and strategic support to the CEO and
Deputy CEO, including diary management, meeting coordination, and
handling correspondence.
 Manage and prioritise emails, draft communications, and assist in the
preparation of reports, presentations, and briefing documents.
 Coordinate travel, event attendance, and speaking engagements for the
CEO and Deputy CEO.

Board & Governance Support:
 Act as the key administrative support for the Board of Trustees and
Board committees, including scheduling meetings, preparing and
distributing papers, taking accurate minutes, and tracking actions.
 Maintain governance calendars, ensuring alignment with charity
reporting requirements and deadlines.
 Support the CEO and Head of Governance & Operations in ensuring
compliance with regulatory and governance obligations (e.g., Charity
Commission, Companies House).
 Facilitate effective communication between the CEO and Trustees, and
support Board induction, development and off boarding processes.
 Maintain accurate records and filing systems for confidential and
governance documentation.

Stakeholder Engagement:
 Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the CEO in a
professional and timely manner.
 Support the planning and execution of high-profile meetings and events
involving funders, partners, and supporters.

Office and Project Support:
 Assist in the delivery and tracking of cross-organisational projects led by
the CEO.
 Coordinate Leadership meetings including preparing agendas, papers
and monitoring progress against the annual plan
 Coordinate the reporting from strategic working groups to monitor
progresses against objectives
 Coordinate and prepare assurance documents including the Risk
Register, CEO report and regulatory or compliance documents, as
required
 Provide occasional support to the senior management team, as required
 Undertake any other duties as the organisation may reasonably require.
 Attend and contribute to team meetings and 'away days' and be an
active, invested member of our team
 Able to work flexibly, including working occasional evenings.

CEO and Deputy CEO and who will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation
of the charity’s governance framework. The successful candidate will provide
executive-level administrative support, coordinate the Board and Committee cycles,

About the role:

This role is based at our office in Sheffield, dealing with inbound enquiries and making outbound calls to victims of crime, reviewing and triaging referrals from the police.

As a Victim Care Advocate you will:

• Work directly with people who have been impacted by crime, assessing support needs and completing risk assessments, providing immediate support and signposting to ongoing support and advocacy
