Based at: Remote Worker – Remotely – however must be able to travel as and when required to meetings and/or events
Job Purpose: To provide direct support to patients and support to all areas of the Charity Group

Key Responsibilities:
· Responding to enquiries via telephone, email, online forums or social media with empathy, a listening ear, informative and supportive manner, whilst demonstrating confidentiality and sensitivity. Stay fully informed on the conditions and treatments associated with all three charities, ensuring the ability to respond to related inquiries becomes second nature
· Co-ordinate and action messages in the Patient services Mailbox and distribute messages accordingly to the wider team where needed
· Maintain that Patient services documentation is updated with clear and concise details
· Identifying gaps in patient information and assist in developing and proofreading relevant medically approved resources to reflect current guidelines, treatments, services and advances
· Frequently reviewing and assisting with update of content on Charity Websites and social media channels current and relevant Forums
· Supporting the organisation, promotion and delivery of all charity events including Patients Day, World Heart Rhythm Week, Global AF Aware Week, Know Your Pulse & Support Groups, Coffee mornings, Living with ...Series etc
· Build a central database of case studies / Patient Stories whether written or recorded
· Contribute content for the monthly e news and regular newsletters including patient stories, FAQ’s and latest news and updates with resources to Patient Service Manager

We are recruiting to a new, national lottery funded role of Communications and Events Officer. This role will be central to our publicity and social media strategy going forward. The postholder will support us to develop a coherent, data compliant approach to sharing our news, updating our platforms (website, social media) and developing hard copy materials such as leaflets and easy read information to share with our growing community. They will also take on the planning, preparation and delivery of our community facing events, working collaboratively with the rest of the team to ensure we are able to deliver at least 2 seasonal family friendly activities each year and at least 2 community fundraising activities. About the role
It’s been an exciting year for the CoppaFeel! Marketing team; we’ve had a brand refresh, onboarded new agencies, launched award winning campaigns and grown a partnership with Love Island. And it’s all been in the name of our mission; to ensure all breast cancers are diagnosed early and accurately in young people.
We are looking for an exceptional Head of Content who will be responsible for the management, production and strategic placement of all organic content across CoppaFeel!’s channels. You will help shape CoppaFeel!’s approach to content so that it appeals, resonates with and converts 18 - 24 year olds across digital and social channels.
You will work alongside other Heads of Dept, bringing your expertise and knowledge to leadership discussions to help shape the future of the organisation.
This is a hybrid role, with the expectation that you will attend the London office 2 days per week. You will be required to attend the office for quarterly team meetings, department meetings and in person training, we will provide plenty of notice for when you are required to be in for these purposes.
You will report to the Marketing Director and line manage the Social Manager and Digital Marketing Manager, and you will have exposure to the Senior Management Team.
The role
Duties and Responsibilities
- Work as a valued part of the CoppaFeel! leadership team to deliver the organisational strategy, shape the culture and influence cross departmental ways of working
- Develop a holistic, strategic content approach to digital and social channels (including creators and gaming) that will enhance the annual marketing strategy and drive awareness of CoppaFeel! and our mission amongst 18 - 24 year olds.
- Responsible for creating innovative content that’s insight driven and market leading.
- Put production plans and processes in place that allow us to have year round ‘always on’ organic content (web, email, social).
- Lead and inspire creativity across the organisation with a view to becoming social first in everything we do.
- Work with Digital Marketing Manager to audit CoppaFeel!’s website and third party agencies to research, plan and execute Search Engine Optimisation strategies.
- Establish standards, systems, best practices, and workflow processes for managing the content lifecycle, including requesting, producing, distributing, channel selection, measuring, and retiring content.
- Collaborate with our operations team as we adopt a new CRM database.
- Ensure all content is consistent with brand guidelines and tone of voice.
- Line manage the Social Media Manager and Digital Marketing Manager.

The Communications Intern is a member of the Development and External Affairs team. Their key focus is enabling impactful content production and championing high communications standards. The comms intern will report to the Communications and Publicity Manager and will support the development of a consistent and effective brand story that engages and unites both our external and internal audiences.
Pay and conditions
- The role is full-time (37.5 hours per week). 9-month fixed term contract.
- The salary for the role will be £23,850 (starting salary will depend on skills and experience).

Specific responsibilities
An applicant appointed to the role will be expected to:
- Create engaging digital content for website, social media, and e-newsletters, through written copy and graphics.
- Support the management of CSE’s website, including uploading and editing content.
- Plan, manage, and deliver 4-6 small (30-40 people) in person or larger online (100 people) events annually, including coordination of logistics, content development, and stakeholder engagement.
- Support with edits to designed materials including factsheets and leaflets using Adobe Creative Suite.
- Support internal communications including organising systems and producing our monthly internal e-newsletter by creating content that motivates employees and informs them of important issues.
- Support with digital channel optimisation including PPC, SEO, social media (paid and organic).
- Support the development of CSE’s social media presence through content creation, scheduling posts, monitoring engagement and reporting.
- Contribute to the operational success of CSE by assisting the team with administrative and organisational duties as necessary. Collaborate with all teams to ensure cohesive delivery of our brand story across the organisation and through all communications.
- Collaborate with teams to monitor brand health, analyse audience insights, and refine our communications strategy.

About The Role
The Social Mobility and Widening Participation Senior Officer is a vital member of the department. The post-holder will lead on the development, delivery and evaluation of sustained outreach initiatives. They will also be involved in a range of other challenging projects run across the Social Mobility and Widening Participation Department.
This role will co-lead on the delivery of K+, supporting participants on our arts, humanities and social science pathways. K+ is King’s flagship widening participation programme for sixth form and college students. The post-holder will be responsible for developing and delivering a comprehensive range of events for Year 12 participants as part of non-residential Spring and Summer Schools. This will involve working collaboratively with schools and teachers within Greater London and King’s target regions, King’s faculties and with corporate and charity partners.
The post holder will work closely with the wider Post-16 Programmes team, student ambassadors and key partner staff. This role is responsible to the Social Mobility and Widening Participation Manager.

BACKGROUND
The External Communications Officer forms part of the Communications and Engagement Directorate, reporting into the Senior External Communications Manager. Given the growth of the Institute, the external communications officer would join a busy team in a vibrant and energetic communications and marketing department. The postholder manages a wide portfolio of projects, announcements and collaborations, working with stakeholders and partner organisation at the local, national and international level. The External Communications Officer will provide proactive comms planning and project management, media support, advice and expertise on matters relating to the Institute’s external communications.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
We’re seeking a candidate with strong written & oral communication skills and demonstrable experience of collaborating with peers & technical experts to create engaging, insight driven communication plans. You should have strong knowledge of current communication industry trends and experience in working with the media in a press office or communications environment. The role
Reporting to the Events and Community Fundraising Manager, you will play a crucial role as part of the Fundraising Team by providing the highest levels of fundraising and event administration support to ensure the provision of seamless, excellent supporter care and assistance to our supporters.

Main purpose of the post

Key tasks

We are looking for a new member to join our legacy and in-memory team, within its Individual Giving department. This role will help to manage and test legacy marketing campaigns with the aim to grow the size of the charity’s legacy Enquirer and Considerer base using various channels such as social media, direct mail and telemarketing. This role will also work on recruiting enquiries about the charity’s Pet Promise scheme and recruit new in-memory and tribute fund supporters.
