Centrepoint, the UK’s leading youth homelessness charity, is looking for a Senior Philanthropy Officer to join our Philanthropy team based in London or Manchester.

Centrepoint operates a hybrid working model. The requirement is a minimum of 50% of your working week to be worked in the office. For most full-time colleagues, this means attending the office for five days over a two-week period (e.g., two days one week and three days the next). For colleagues on different contracts (including part-time or compressed contracts) this will be adjusted accordingly.

Centrepoint exists to help vulnerable young people by giving them the practical and emotional support they need to find a job and live independently. We provide homeless young people with accommodation, health support and life skills in order to get them back into education, training and employment. We want to end youth homelessness by 2037, and together with our partners we support over 16,000 young people each year.

High Value Giving is an area of income growth for Centrepoint, with the Philanthropy team forming part of the Relationship Fundraising Department. The Senior Philanthropy Officer role plays a crucial part within the Philanthropy team, as the team look to build upon their recent successes and income trajectory.

Developing donor relationships, producing important cultivation resources and contributing to the creation of a robust donor pipeline will form key responsibilities for this role. About You

The Senior Philanthropy Officer will report into the Philanthropy Manager. This role will steward its own major donor portfolio, managing gifts between £5,000 and £100,000, and project manage an element of the team strategy to help achieve the Philanthropy income target.

The post holder with work closely with other teams, particularly the mid-value team, within fundraising and the organisation more widely, to maximise income for Centrepoint.

This role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop skills and experience in major donor fundraising, while being part of an energetic and passionate team. This role would suit an established relationship fundraiser seeking their next high value giving opportunity.

What you’ll be doing

As Senior Philanthropy Officer, you will play a key role in growing high-value income by developing relationships with major donors and building a strong pipeline of future supporters.

You will manage your own portfolio of major donors while also contributing to the wider philanthropy strategy.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing and stewarding a portfolio of major donors, developing tailored engagement and communication plans
• Growing income from existing donors and cultivating new major donor prospects
• Leading the Mid Value to Major Donor pathway, identifying and developing high-potential donors
• Project managing key elements of the philanthropy strategy to drive income growth
• Working with teams across the organisation to identify funding needs and develop compelling cases for support
• Producing major donor appeals, reports, newsletters and updates
• Maintaining accurate donor records and reporting on the CRM system
• Managing administrative and financial processes relating to donor income
• Representing the organisation at donor meetings, events and service visits
• Keeping up to date with philanthropy trends and sector developments
• Supporting wider fundraising events and activities

About the Role

We are seeking an individual to raise awareness of the Fund’s welfare offer amongst social welfare agencies across North East England but also, crucially, to help address the issue of social isolation and feelings of loneliness experienced by some members of the RAF Family.

You will have experience of engaging and supporting people in a community, charity, social care, or other people focused position, supporting those who are socially isolated to be better connected into their communities.  You will have good organisational skills, empathy and the ability to listen and build relationships with people who may have complex and challenging welfare needs, assisting them by identifying appropriate support from within the RAF Benevolent Fund and the wider statutory and military charity sector.

This is a community-based position working from home but covering primarily the Tyne & Wear/Durham region, delivering both remote and face to face support. The candidate must have their own vehicle to use to travel around these regions.

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Social Worker to join our Leeds Team supporting children and young people diagnosed with cancer.

We pride ourselves on delivering the highest quality support tailored to the needs of the children and young people and their families. The work we do is rewarding but also complex and demanding. You will be part of a close-knit Young Lives vs Cancer social work team, working with an established NHS multi-disciplinary team and services in the community.

This role is predominantly site-based with an element of occasional working from home as agreed with the line manager. Your contractual base will be both Home and Hospital.

The Head of Community Services Development will lead the growth and evolution of Day One’s national offer for people affected by serious and life-changing injury, while designing and implementing a new service to support individuals transitioning from Hospital to Home. The post holder should combine strategic leadership with hands on service design and development expertise, ensuring the national offer becomes the charity’s returning home service in line with the new strategy for 2026-2029. Newly designed services will deliver high-quality, compassionate support and that are well designed, evidence-based and responsive to the real world needs of people with serious and life-changing injury. Working closely with the Head of Lived Experience, to ensure lived experience insight is central to all design and implementation, and that new pathways complement Day One’s existing Peer Support model.

LGBTQ+ Adult Project Worker

Context 

Q:alliance provides support, information and representation for LGBTQ+ people who live, work and socialise in Milton Keynes and surrounding areas. Our goal is to create safe, welcoming spaces and accessible resources to ensure that the LGBTQ+ community is visible, represented and supported. 

Scope 

The Adult Project Worker will facilitate up to three weekly provisions for LGBTQ+ adults, working collaboratively within the team to develop activities that reduce isolation, create opportunities for belonging, and strengthen participation within the LGBTQ+ community in Milton Keynes. 

Sessions may take place at our centre in Fenny Stratford or at community locations across Milton Keynes, including Central Milton Keynes. Due to the nature of community-based group provision, most sessions take place during evenings, with some weekend working required to support community events and activities. 

Main Responsibilities  

• Support, information and empowerment – Develop and deliver resources, activities and events within group programmes. Create welcoming, safe and enjoyable environments where community members feel respected and included. Provide light-touch support and appropriate signposting to relevant services, and liaise with stakeholder organisations that support our community. 

• Co-production – Encourage meaningful involvement from beneficiaries in shaping activities and services. Support individuals to take on participatory roles within the organisation, such as co-chairing sessions or contributing to programme development. Seek innovative ways to embed community voice within service delivery. 

• Inclusivity – Ensure that services remain welcoming and accessible to a diverse range of LGBTQ+ people. Support activities that reflect varied perspectives, experiences and identities within the community.

GMRC is a registered charity working with adult women who are victims and survivors of sexual violence and child sexual abuse, providing independent, specialist support and promoting and representing their rights and needs.

GMRC is seeking a highly skilled, trauma informed and compassionate Senior Counsellor to join our therapeutic services team. This is a crucial role offering specialist counselling to women affected by rape and sexual abuse, while also contributing to the leadership, development and quality assurance of our counselling service.

As Senior Counsellor, you will deliver high‑quality, trauma‑informed one‑to‑one counselling, carry out assessments, manage a clinical caseload, and provide guidance to volunteer and trainee counsellors. You will join a team managing Galop’s specialist advocacy services, providing support to LGBT victims and survivors of abuse and violence in the UK, with a specialist focus on hate crime and hate-motivated abuse. You will work within the advocacy management team to deliver advice, support, and advocacy to thousands of LGBT victims and survivors of interpersonal abuse and violence each year.

You will manage a team of specialist advocates and triage workers providing needs-led support, information and advocacy to LGBT survivors of a range of violence and abuse. You will work with the Head of Advocacy and other advocacy managers to ensure that survivors have access to needs-led, timely support that is right for them, maintaining high quality, consistent support across our advocacy and one-to-one support, whether that is in-person or remote. 

You will have an in depth understanding of the spectrum of violence and abuse that LGBT people are subjected to, including the causes, impact and barriers to accessing services. You will use your expertise to represent Galop with key stakeholders, advocating for the needs of the community. 

You will also have management and oversight of the CATCH Partnership, a pan-London consortium of by-and-for hate crime support services, that cover all protected strands of hate crime across race, religion, disability, sex, sexual orientation and transgender status. You will need to have excellent partner management skills and be able to lead and support a diverse range of organisations with an understanding of their specific needs and challenges. 

You will be responsible for ensuring that data collected about the service is collected consistently and use this to report to funders. You will develop and maintain relationships with funders and ensuring that the service is effectively demonstrating the different that it makes. You will work with the Head of Advocacy and Director of Services to develop bids for new or continued funding for frontline services.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Service Manager to lead and support a professional team to support people experiencing homelessness. Leading a team of support workers, you will provide 24-hour staffed, supported accommodation to some of the most vulnerable people in the borough, using psychological and trauma-informed methods to support them in their recovery.

You will also be responsible for managing the H&F Progression Coach, who is linked to all 7 projects across the H&F pathway holding a caseload, providing tailored support to individual residents for ETE purposes, also providing tenancy sustainment support to groups of clients in preparation for move on whilst maintaining relationships with volunteers across the pathway and ensuring they are supported.

Yeldall Manor is a Christian recovery centre for men overcoming drug and alcohol addiction. We’re looking for a caring, motivated person to help maintain a clean, comfortable, homely environment while supporting residents as they rebuild their lives.

In this rewarding position, you will help ensure the cleanliness of our buildings while working alongside our male residents who are recovering from drug and alcohol addiction. About You

This is an exciting opportunity to play a central role in the effective running and growth of the Land Trust charity. You’ll provide vital administrative and governance support, organising the AGM, board meetings and sub committees, preparing detailed minutes, and ensuring timely follow up of agreed actions. You will help keep our policies and procedures up to date and work closely with our accounts team to raise invoices and support credit control. Alongside this, you will contribute to the delivery of the Land Trust development plan, supporting fundraising initiatives and helping to produce promotional materials.
You will also be at the heart of managing our existing land holdings, liaising with tenants and land agents on tenancy matters, coordinating repairs and inspections, and supporting compliance. As we explore new land opportunities, you’ll help nurture relationships with existing and prospective donors and contribute to updating land acquisition policies. Acting as the front line contact for all internal and external enquiries, you will champion the Trust’s work, ensuring our services are well promoted and working with the digital team to keep the Land Trust and Woodoaks websites current, engaging and informative.

Key Duties for Form F Assessors include:

• To undertake and complete Form F assessments in the timescale set out in our policy and guidance.
• To visit personal referees as identified on application form for prospective foster carers.
• To ensure that all checks and references are undertaken and completed.
• To provide to the supervisor, regular written updates of the draft assessment.
• To liaise with our administrative team concerning the progress of administrative checks and completion of the Form F.
• To be available for supervision, consultation or liaison as required.
• To be available to present completed Form Fs to the virtual fostering panel and provide support to the applicants through this process.
• To be aware of our child protection procedures and immediately report any child protection matter or concerns to a TACT manager and any relevant placing authority and the area authority.
• To carry out the duties in line with our Foster Carer and Supervising Social Worker Standards and Practice Guidance.

Rates of Pay for Form F Assessors

• £2,250 per Form F Assessment / £37.50 per hour,  plus £250 bonus for ‘panel ready’ assessments, plus £250 bonus for completion within 16 weeks, plus 45p mileage

About The Role 

We are looking for an experienced Social Worker to join our Glasgow Team supporting children and young people diagnosed with cancer.

We pride ourselves on delivering the highest quality support tailored to the needs of the children and young people and their families. The work we do is rewarding but also complex and demanding. You will be part of a close-knit Young Lives vs Cancer social work team, working with an established NHS multi-disciplinary team and services in the community.

This role is predominantly site-based with an element of working from home. Your contractual base will be both Home and Hospital.
