SENIOR YOUTH AND COMMUNITY WORKER
LOCATION: ENACT, 52 ISLAND CENTRE WAY, ENFIELD, EN3 6GS
HOURS: FULL TIME (40HRS PER WEEK)
RESPONSIBLE TO: YOUTH AND COMMUNITY TEAM LEAD
SALARY: £28,000 - £32,000 PER ANNUM

Enact have a vacancy for a Senior Youth and Community Worker to lead our open-access community youth provision. We are looking for an experienced youth practitioner to manage our youth team and work within the enact team to develop a range of engaging activities and training opportunities for young people with particular focus on those aged 10 to 19 in the Enfield community.
The Senior Youth and Community Worker needs to be a passionate, enthusiastic and professional. They will lead the youth team to create community-based opportunities for the whole family, in accordance with the ethos and values of Oasis. The Senior Youth worker will also support the enact team to develop and be involved in community cohesion projects involving children, families and youth.
Enact actively encourages continued professional development and opportunities for further education for all its staff.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Customer Service (Events) team at the National Housing Federation. The Federation run a range of commercial and free to member conferences and webinars, with numbers ranging from 50-1300 registrations in virtual, hybrid and in-person formats. The Customer Service Executive (Events) will provide a key level of support and assistance to the Events team through administration, registration and managing live databases and systems for the range of events and conferences – both income and non-income generating, throughout the year.

Key elements of the role:
- Provide a central point of contact for events and excellent customer service, dealing with incoming calls, email enquiries and requests for information or queries from colleagues and members.
- Collate, update and maintain accurate delegate and wider member data in the Federations CRM system.
- Coordinate logistical event support across all events, printing and distributing event collateral, packing and couriering equipment and managing delivery services.
- Manage virtual and in-person conference registration and helpdesks. Setting up and distributing badges, resolving platform and tech issues and dealing with general enquiries.

- Clear in both written and verbal communication.
- Excellent phone and public facing manner.
- Some experience of working with Microsoft office and/or CRM databases.
- A basic understanding of virtual, hybrid and in-person events.

Dogs Trust are going through a period of growth, with recruitment for two Senior New Partnerships Managers due to the existing Lead getting an internal promotion. There are continuing plans to drive new business through long-term strategic partnerships.
The Senior New Partnerships Manager will play an active role in winning new partnerships to support international and UK-based work. Alongside the Deputy Head of Partnerships, you will work closely with the prospect research and special events team, and line manage a New Partnerships Manager.

About the role
As the Director for London, you will be accountable to the Chief Operating Officer for the overall strategic direction and performance of the charity in London, contributing to Sustrans-wide strategic development, as a member of Sustrans’ senior leadership team.
Managing 4 direct reports from multi-disciplinary teams across the city, you will manage resources, providing effective, positive leadership to the heads of teams, in order to deliver Sustrans’ strategy and business plan priorities and initiatives across London.
Strengthening our strategic relationships with key organisations and people, such as Transport for London (TfL), local authorities, the Mayor’s Office and politicians, you will positively influence decision-makers in the field of sustainable transport.

About you

The department is responsible for all aspects of the financial affairs of the Society and its related trusts. The Finance Assistant is responsible to the Assistant Finance Manager.
They take responsibility for processing the day-to-day transactions of the company across purchase ledger, sales ledger and the cash book, and ensure the smooth operation of the office. They will also need to work collaboratively with colleagues across the wider Hallé as well as with external customers and suppliers.
The post is full-time permanent based on a 36.25-hour week. Our core office hours are 09.00-17:15, from Monday to Friday. There is an option to work up to 50% of hours from home.
