Our 12 children’s homes across Greater Manchester work with young people with Autism, learning difficulties and other complex support needs as well as helping children who have suffered trauma or display Emotional Behavioural Difficulties as well as Harmful Sexual Behaviours.

About the position….
- As a Senior Children’s Residential Support Worker, you will work as part of a residential childcare team providing support for the children and young people with their physical, emotional, and social needs with an emphasis on promoting their personal growth and independence.
- Working on your own initiative and as part of a team, you will be to preparing and assisting the children and young people to fulfil the aims of their person-centred plan.
- You will support the children and young people with communication and work closely in a team that has a passion to improve their lives whilst in our care.

About you….
We look for applicants who have the following skills.
- Completed the QCF level 3 / 4 in Children, young people, and family’s practitioner qualification or equivalent to be eligible to apply for this position. (This can also include NVQ Level 3 residential childcare or a Social Work Degree with childrens residential experiance, we cannot accept due to Ofsted requirements any general Health & Social Care qualifiction, or any other degree subject)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, a large part of this role you will be working with Social Workers and parents.
- Previous experience in keyworking with the young people that we support, including primary responsibility in complex cases and being able consider the feelings and the wishes of the young people that we support.
- Previous experience in shift leading, supervising team members in the absence of the Registered Manager / Assistant Manager, including contribution to assessment and appraisal of the team.
- Have a sound knowledge around the safeguarding of the young people that we support.
- A good standard of written English and IT skills would be essential, you will be writing reports and keeping record of the Children and Young Peoples progress.
- Transporting children / young people to an activity or school is a requirement. A driving licence that has been held for 12 months would be desirable.

Mind in Tower Hamlets, Newham and Redbridge are seeking Recovery workers to join the team at the Together Cafe: our out-of-hours drop-in service providing a safe and welcoming space for people who are feeling distressed, seeking support and advice for their mental health, there and then. The service is based in Stratford, London. Staff within the service will provide person-centred, practical, and emotional support, face to face or via telephone on a one-to-one or group basis to individuals experiencing mental health distress. We are seeking an experienced fundraising Manager, with the drive and determination to manage all aspects of our fundraising function. STADA has multiple fundraising streams. Main Responsibilities
- As a children’s Residential Support Worker, you will work as part of a residential childcare team providing support for individuals with their physical, emotional, and social needs with an emphasis on promoting independence.
