Exercise and Socialise is a programme of weekly exercise sessions specially designed for different needs, abilities and interests, but all aimed at the frail and unconfident.
For the financial year 2026/27 we have funding to provide 30 classes across the 5 neighbourhoods in Lambeth, maximising coverage and giving space to local needs.
The primary focus is on improving physical health and confidence and getting people active again and increasing their resilience. But it also has secondary aims of decreasing isolation and improving people's mental health.
Specific Duties
1. To assess referrals that come in and assess their eligibility. Help them choose a suitable class based on their ability.
2. Responsible for sourcing accessible venues.
3. Setting up the groups and engaging paid instructors.
4. To provide regular monitoring and impact reports for our funders, using both qualitative and quantitative data to demonstrate how the support has benefited participants.
5. To regularly monitor the KPIs and outcomes set by funders, ensuring the project remains on track to achieve targets and identifying any areas requiring additional support or improvement.
6. To deliver a diverse mix of exercise groups, including chair yoga, seated aerobics, Tai Chi, and seated jive. Offer low-impact sports like table tennis and weight training, and introduce targeted activities specifically designed to overcome the challenge of engaging older men.
7. To promote the groups at meetings and support our comms team to promote the service.
8. To create referral pathways for health professionals, Social Prescribers Link Workers, Neighbourhood Wellbeing Workers, etc.
General Duties
1. Work closely with the Head of Commercial Services and Volunteering.
2. Develop and maintain links with Public Health and the Community Rehab and Falls team.
3. To recruit tutors/instructors who have adequate qualifications and insurance.
4. To make sure relevant information/registers are collected and put on our Podio system.
5. To have relevant information about clubs, groups and MYSocial so that when the course ends, people have the confidence and fitness to join other exercise/activities.
6. Carry out a wellbeing assessment (via the Outcome Star) and monitor at the beginning and at the end of the course to monitor impact on mobility and wellbeing at the end of the course and record and report findings on Podio.

● Pro-rata: 31.5 hours until 31/03/2027 at £24,835, reducing to 14 hours at £11,038 from 01/06/27 to 31/03/28.

Working across our Get Started and Explore programmes, you’ll lead personal development sessions that take our Foundation programmes to new heights.
The sessions will range from outdoor activities in green spaces to world of work experiences, creative projects, life skills and everything in between! You won’t be sitting behind a screen every day; this is an active role which will involve frequent, funded travel between Southampton and Portsmouth to deliver these exciting programmes, as well as programme visits and quarterly short residential trips. About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join IRMO as our Youth Project Coordinator and lead the Latin American Youth Forum (LAYF) – IRMO’s youth-led group for migrant and refugee young people aged 13–19.
LAYF offers a safe, supportive and trilingual space (Spanish, Portuguese and English) where young people can overcome barriers and begin to find their feet in the UK. Activities are designed to build confidence, support integration and foster leadership. Through the programme, participants can learn English through fun and engaging ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) classes, take part in weekly educational, arts-based and themed workshops, and receive one-to-one support through a targeted coaching programme focused on education, volunteering and employment.
Young people also have the opportunity to join the LAYF Youth Steering Group, where they can develop leadership skills and inspire other Spanish and Portuguese-speaking young people, while exploring London and beyond through cultural trips and residentials.
As Youth Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for registering and onboarding new participants, designing and delivering a creative weekly programme of LAYF Space Workshops, and offering one-to-one mentoring to help young people access opportunities and build confidence. You’ll work closely with IRMO’s ESOL and Advice and Advocacy teams to ensure a joined-up and holistic approach.
This is a varied role that requires empathy, creativity and excellent organisational skills. You will play a key part in ensuring all activities are inclusive, engaging and safe, while monitoring progress and capturing the achievements of the young people involved. You’ll also be a positive role model, helping each participant realise their potential and feel empowered in their journey.
LAYF is delivered as part of Building Young Brixton (BYB), a consortium of ten Lambeth-based organisations working together to inspire and empower young people in the borough. Partnership working is central to the LAYF ethos, and the Youth Project Coordinator will collaborate closely with BYB partners to co-create activities, share skills and strengthen impact.
Key Responsibilities
Recruit and register LAYF participants by assessing individual needs and matching them with appropriate activities
Plan, co-produce and deliver a dynamic and engaging programme of LAYF activities – from arts and sport to inspirational talks – designed to build young people’s confidence, life skills and social connection
Coach and support young people to thrive in their education and personal development through a targeted one-to-one coaching programme
Plan and deliver quarterly trips and events that promote peer interaction and engagement with the local community
Signpost and refer young people to relevant services at IRMO, BYB or other external partners
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including registration forms, attendance, surveys, feedback, session plans and coaching logs
Input and manage baseline and progress data using IRMO’s database and monitoring tools
Produce compelling case studies and success stories to share with young people, funders and supporters
Ensure the wellbeing and safety of all participants, following IRMO’s safeguarding policies and National Youth Agency (NYA) guidance
Communicate with LAYF participants and families in a timely and appropriate way, respecting boundaries and overcoming communication barriers
Promote LAYF activities through newsletters, social media and IRMO’s communications channels
Represent LAYF and IRMO in meetings and forums with partners, funders and youth sector networks

About the Role
Lead the delivery of a high-impact, person-centred service as a Pathway Manager, where your leadership will directly shape outcomes for individuals and communities. Key Deliverables
• You will be committed to working in and maintaining an environment that supports the safeguarding of young people as the Safeguarding Lead for the service
• You will be adept in managing the service and its partnerships
• You will manage, monitor, evaluate and continuously improve the service and its operation within Lambeth’s developing approach
• You will comply with quality inspection and assessment procedures
• You will ensure effective support, learning or family support plans (as applicable) for young people are in place and regularly reviewed

• You will ensure effective delivery of Depaul UK’s approved life skills training and work closely with Participation and Volunteering leads.

• To be successful in this role you will be expected to go the extra mile by being flexible with the hours you work always bearing in mind the needs of the business.

Health and Safety:
• To ensure a safe and secure environment and maintain high standards within the services. This includes risk assessments, health and safety checks and the cleaning and preparation of rooms for new residents.
• To involve service users in developing an awareness of their own personal and building health and safety, through information sessions, key working and support planning and resident meetings.
• To ensure that the project is clean and safe and to encourage residents to take some responsibility in the cleaning of their communal areas and their room.
• To work for a proportion of the time as a lone worker and as part of the wider team.
• Undertake appropriate risk assessments for lone working.
Administration:
• To maintain written records and monitoring information as appropriate and input and retrieve data on the Inform system.
• To prepare reports, statistical data and other information that maybe requested by the Asst. Area Director.
• To ensure that any repairs and maintenance issues are reported in a timely manner in order to ensure the health and safety and security of the building environment.
• Any other administrative tasks that will ensure the smooth running of the service.
Finance:
• With the support of the Area. Director devise effective, safe and timely methods for the collection of accommodation and service charges from residents, and to maintain auditable records of payment.
• Ensure that arrears management procedures are adhered to.
• To take responsibility for petty cash and record all transactions in line with policy.
General:
• To contribute to a high quality and effective delivery of service.
• To participate in internal/external meetings as required and attend training, events, conferences and other functions as necessary.
• To participate in regular supervision and IDP and help in identifying your own job-related development and training needs.
• To contribute to and be supportive of young people’s involvement in our services and in all levels of decision making throughout the organization.
• To ensure that all Depaul policies and procedures are adhered to.

About the role: Transform Justice is seeking a research and policy officer to play a vital role supporting its work for a better justice system. Working closely with the charity’s director and deputy director (and alongside our communications officer), you will conduct high quality research, draft policy briefings, and organise and participate in meetings and events. This role will support a range of projects including the next round of our innovative courtwatching project, and our work to reduce the pre-trial imprisonment of children.
We are looking for someone inquisitive, flexible, and organised. The role is home-based using your own equipment, so you will need to be able to work on your own with minimal day-to-day supervision. There is the option to work at an office in Old Street, London up to two days a week with other Transform Justice team members. The team also meets regularly online and for in-person meetings in London.
Main responsibilities and duties:
Undertaking qualitative and quantitative research including phone interviews, survey design, submitting FOI requests and analysing published data
Reviewing relevant academic evidence and policy documents and identifying what’s important for our advocacy work
Writing, editing and proofreading reports, briefings and submissions
Liaising with policy makers and stakeholders including organising and attending meetings and drafting correspondence
Organising online and in person events to support Transform Justice’s advocacy work

We are looking for a Weekenders Journey Guide to support prospective Weekend Foster Carers from their first conversations with Now Foster through to the next stages of the recruitment and assessment journey.
This is a highly relational, candidate-facing role. You will be one of the main people helping applicants understand what Weekenders is, explore whether it is right for them, stay motivated through the process, and feel supported to take the next step.
Introductory conversations (our ‘intro chats’) will be a core part of the role. You will speak with people who are curious about fostering, but who may also feel unsure, nervous or are still working out whether they can foster. Your role will be to bring warmth, clarity and momentum: helping people feel welcomed, informed and confident, while also making sure the right people progress at the right pace.
You will use Now Foster’s digital platform (a bespoke CRM system) to manage the candidate journey, track progress, record key information and help the team understand where applicants are getting stuck or moving forward. You will play an important role in making sure we are attracting the right leads, supporting them well, and learning how to improve the journey as we grow.
This role would particularly suit someone with experience of fostering or working in fostering. It could also suit someone from a related background who is deeply motivated by innovation in this area and excited by what fostering could look like if it were designed around children, carers and relationships.
You do not need to be a qualified social worker, but you do need to be emotionally mature, reflective, organised and comfortable working closely with a social work-led team. You will need to understand safeguarding, and be confident holding thoughtful conversations with prospective carers.

About Weekenders
Weekenders is Now Foster’s flagship programme. It pairs children and young people in foster care with inspiring adults who can offer guidance, stability and encouragement on a regular basis. It is about showing up, making a difference, and being that person a young person can count on.
The programme is growing quickly. We are scaling Weekenders across London and beyond, testing new ways to support applicants, local authorities and independent social workers, and building the operational foundations needed for long-term growth.
A core part of this growth is making sure that people who are interested in becoming Weekend Foster Carers receive the right balance of warmth, encouragement, information and challenge as they move through the journey. That is where the Journey Guide comes in.
Working Pattern and Location
This role is offered at 4 to 5 days per week, with a salary of £34,000 pro rata.
The role can be based anywhere in England, with occasional travel to our Weekender delivery areas. Our Weekenders team is currently based across London and Manchester, and our wider organisational team is based in Oxford. Most work will be home-based, but there will be some in-person meetings, events, training sessions or bi-monthly co-working days.
The role will involve some work outside standard office hours. This is likely to include:
Around one weekend day per month, which you would take back as time off during the previous or following week.
Some evening work, for example around one information event per month.
Some evening intro chats with prospective foster carers, where this helps people engage with the process.
We work flexibly and will support the successful candidate to manage their time in a sustainable way.
Safeguarding

You'll also help our Delivery Partners and volunteers do the same, both in person and virtually through our trusty MS Teams. When we're doing things face-to-face, you’ll need to hit the road and be there in person to help with programme delivery or programme visits to make sure all is running as smoothly as possible.
And if that’s not enough to keep you busy, you’ll also be keeping meticulous records of information and data on our young people, volunteers, and partners. It's all about making sure every step of their journey is accurately reflected in our systems so that it complies with our funding contracts.

You will support a caseload of 20 – 25 clients to find competitive and sustained employment. Job Summary
Working closely with the Senior Corporate Partnership Manager, this role will support the delivery of high value corporate partnerships, including stewardship and engagement activities, as well as business development, identifying opportunities with aligned brands and up-coming charity of the year applications, to develop new corporate partnerships. The role is offered on a hybrid basis, with one day a week in the office in West London, and expectation to attend partner events where required.
You will be a creative, organised and reliable individual, ideally with experience in a fundraising team, supporting corporate partnerships or community fundraising. An excellent communicator, able to manage your time effectively and build good working relationships, you will support the Income team to deliver and secure corporate partnerships, working with colleagues across the charity to identify opportunities for engagement.

As Operations Manager (OM), you’ll lead safe, high‑quality services, guide a committed frontline team, ensure compliance, strengthen partnerships, and drive performance across all operations; keeping our work moving from outreach and hotspot engagement to groups, community stalls, and the everyday moments where trust is built. As part of BUBIC’s commitment to meeting people where they are, the post holder will also share night‑outreach duties with the Team Leader, working one evening per week (5pm-midnight, typically Wednesday or Friday) to reach those most visible and vulnerable at night, enabling early intervention, safer engagement, and stronger pathways into support. In addition, this role is pivotal in delivering BUBIC’s Strategic Plan, driving business development, staff development, service expansion, and organisational governance:
Business Development Contribution
The OM strengthens partnerships, supports funding strategy, provides operational evidence for bids, and contributes to growth initiatives such as pop-up BUBIC models and harm reduction bus feasibility.
Staff Development
The OM leads one to ones for the core staff and team leader, providing reflective practice, training, and wellbeing activities, and supports workforce planning aligned to strategic priorities.
Service Development
The OM oversees safe, high-quality delivery of outreach, groups, dual diagnosis support, Gateway training, and pilots’ new services including outings, life-skills programmes, and community presence initiatives.
Governance & Profile
Working with the CEO, the OM ensures oversight of compliance, safeguarding, GDPR, reporting to Board and sub-groups, and contributes to annual accounts, supports AGM delivery, and strengthens organisational visibility through external representation
