Tutor – Ireland 0.5

Location: Ireland

Overview of Role:

Church Army are looking to appoint a 0.5 Tutor based on the island of Ireland to provide outstanding training in pioneering and evangelism. This role will focus on the training of Church of Ireland Pioneer Ministers, in partnership with the Church of Ireland Theological Institute, and include elements of both teaching and being a personal tutor.

This role of Tutor is key in helping our expanding Initial Training Team provide outstanding formation in contextual mission and evangelism – by forming effective evangelists who are able to work with God in transforming communities.

Salary: £20,833 / €24042.50  per annum (£41,666 / €48,085 pro rata)

Hours:18.75 hours a week with evening and weekend work required on occasion. Normal working pattern will need to include working on a Thursday.

Pension: Church Army is an auto enrolment pension employer. You will be assessed under pension auto enrolment criteria. Alternative provisions are available if you are ordained within Church of England or a commissioned Church Army evangelist, both of which are non-contributory by the employee.

Annual Leave:123.75 hours inclusive of bank holidays. (Pro-rata equivalent to 25 days plus bank holidays).

Contract:Part-time, Open Ended

Occupational Requirement: Due to the responsibilities of the role there is an occupational requirement under the Equality Act 2010 that the post holder has an active faith in Jesus, demonstrated by an involvement in a local church and agreement with the vision and values of Church Army.
