We’re looking for an exceptionally organised High Value Events Assistant to play a key role in supporting the delivery of this varied and ambitious programme.
What does this role do?
As High Value Events Assistant, you will:
- provide high-quality administrative and delivery support across a portfolio of flagship, bespoke and stewardship events for high value audiences.
- manage guest lists, invitations and RSVPs, ensuring accurate data handling and a seamless supporter journey.
- support the development of event content and collateral, including liaising with internal teams and sourcing compelling case studies.
- research and liaise with venues and suppliers, source prize donations and support event logistics to ensure smooth delivery.
- lead on the organisation of regular internal events, including the annual departmental conference.
- take responsibility for delivering a small number of supporter engagement events, working with major donors and corporate partners where appropriate.

About the Fairer Futures Programme:
Birmingham City Council have awarded a Fairer Futures Fund to Witton Lodge to work with the wider VCSE sector to deliver a high quality and equitable service. The service will be delivered from other VCFSE sites particularly in Castle Vale area and have a presence in Falcon Lodge. They work with organisations such as Compass Support, Age Concern and Living Well Consortium and engage widely within the Locality to assess opportunities to partner collaboratively.
The Role:
As a Fairer Futures Navigator you will be assisting individuals by providing access to support around areas such as poor mental health, debt, housing, domestic violence, substance use, homelessness, isolation, relationship breakdown, unemployment and other social crisis issues with the main focus being early intervention and prevention.
About you:
They are looking for someone who has:
- At least 12 months experience of working in a paid role with experience of supporting individuals in mental health or comparative sector to be in control of their lives.
- Excellent verbal, written and IT skills with the ability to input accurate up to date information on a bespoke IT system.
- Knowledge/experience of carrying out both needs assessments and risk assessments where this is required.
- The ability to liaise with professionals and local community networks and a good working knowledge of local facilities, organisations, and resources.
- The ability to work within timescales as laid out in the service contract and service standards, manage challenging situations and work under pressure.
- Proven ability to demonstrate an ability to use tools and techniques when working to support/evaluate positive change.
A driving licence and use of a vehicle is desirable but not essential for this role.

Black Thrive Global evolved from the work of the Black Thrive Lambeth Partnership, which was established in 2016 to address the inequalities that negatively impact the mental health and wellbeing of Black people in Lambeth. Black people’s cumulative exposure to negative experiences and poor outcomes are not unique to Lambeth and Black Thrive Global was founded in 2020 to address the detrimental outcomes for Black people of African and Caribbean descent wherever they may be located.
We're looking for someone who is confident in supporting the design and delivery of community-led research projects, supporting community engagement activities and providing administrative support to the programme. An understanding of health inequities, systemic racism and the experiences of Black LGBTQ+ communities is essential.

We oversee the Motability Scheme and provide grants to help people use it, providing access to transport to hundreds of thousands of people a year. As Insight Officer, you’ll support the day-to-day delivery of insight and evidence across the Insight Team, helping to ensure that research outputs are timely, accessible and well used across the organisation.
What you will be doing:
Working closely with your colleagues in the Insight Team, you’ll contribute to research delivery, rapid evidence reviews and executive-style insight summaries. You’ll also support the coordination of research activity and help maintain shared evidence resources that underpin organisational learning and decision-making.
Key responsibilities will include:
· Producing clear and concise insight summaries and rapid evidence reviews to support policy, strategy and operational decision-making

- Ability to interpret findings accurately and translate them into clear written insight
- Experience producing concise, executive-style insight summaries distilling complex findings into key messages
- Understanding of basic research methods and principles, including sampling, bias and data quality
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Confidence using standard office software to produce reports and manage information

- Experience producing rapid evidence reviews

About the Role
As the Team Leader - Witness Service (outreach in the community), you will:

The Witness Service provides free, independent support to any witness giving evidence in criminal courts in England and Wales - both for the prosecution and the defence. Our trained staff and volunteers help people understand what to expect before, during and after a trial, and offer practical and emotional support every step of the way, so witnesses can give their best evidence. The Witness Service also supports bereaved family members, friends and family who are accompanying witnesses in court.

The Tower Project’s award-winning JET Service is seeking a passionate and skilled Disability Employment Adviser to help transform the employment prospects of adults and young people with learning disabilities and autism.
This is a varied community-facing role combining personalised employment support, employer partnership working and in-work coaching. You will manage a caseload of aproximatley 25 clients at different stages of their employment journey and work collaboratively with colleagues, employers and referral partners to create meaningful employment opportunities.
You will be supported by the Employment Support Team Lead and will play an important role in delivering positive, measurable outcomes for individuals across East London.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
IAG and Employment Support
You will act as the key adviser for a cohort of clients, delivering high-quality, person-centred employment support that leads to sustained paid outcomes.

- Build positive working relationships with referral partners including the Community Learning Disability Team, education providers and local support organisations.
- Complete vocational profiling, better-off calculations and personalised support plans focused on employment aspirations.
