Our location
We are based in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, so we are easily accessible by road and rail. As a Central Fundraising and Engagement Assistant at Save the Children UK, you will be the first point of contact for our Regional Fundraising & Engagement supporters, ensuring they receive outstanding care, advice and support.
Working closely with colleagues across the Central and Regional teams, you will use your communication and organisational skills to build strong relationships with volunteers, fundraisers and companies, helping them to actively contribute to Save the Children's work.

Background and purpose
We are the only UK-wide charity for everyone affected by a genetic and acquired bleeding disorder.
At the Haemophilia Society (THS) we want to empower everyone affected by a bleeding disorder to live life to the full, whatever your stage in life.
One in 2,000 men, women and children in the UK have a diagnosed bleeding disorder, which are a group of conditions, including haemophilia and von Willebrand disorder, that result when the blood cannot clot properly.
As many as a third of bleeding disorder diagnoses have no known family history and can be the result of a random gene mutation. This means a bleeding disorder diagnosis can come completely out of the blue.
THS brings together people with bleeding disorders and their families to share experiences and understand more about how to live well with a bleeding disorder. Together, we can all make a difference.

About the role

Main duties
Fundraising CRM Project Leadership
- Lead the end-to-end project to replace the current CRM system, including an audit of existing data, research into CRM options, supplier selection and full onboarding and implementation.
- Manage and maintain the current Salesforce system during the review period, ensuring it remains functional, accurate, and fit for purpose while supporting the transition process.
- Act as the day-to-day lead for the CRM system within the Fundraising and Communications team, ensuring it meets team needs and supports strategic goals.
CRM and Data Management
- Maintain and improve the quality of supporter data through regular cleansing, deduplication, and tagging to ensure accuracy and GDPR compliance.

- Work closely with the Marketing and Communications team to provide campaign-ready data for fundraising, advocacy, and engagement activities.
Reporting and Insight
- Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports that provide real time insight into fundraising performance, donor behaviour and campaign results.
