About the role
As the Fundraising Events Manager, you will lead, shape and deliver an exciting portfolio of fundraising events, including virtual challenges, our Annual Golf Day, and Headway’s prestigious Annual Awards. You will also steward supporters through major third party events, such as the London Marathon, Great North Run and the London Landmarks Half Marathon, providing the best supporter experience.
The role will lead and develop the Fundraising Coordinator, providing effective line management to ensure high performance and professional growth.
Working closely with the wider Fundraising Team and the Communications Team, you will ensure every event is safe, engaging and memorable, and that every supporter receives an exceptional journey with Headway.
With an established events calendar and opportunities for innovation, this role offers the chance to make a tangible impact while helping to grow an events income stream currently worth approximately £360,000.
What you will do

You will also be a facilitator at times for supported and supervised contact sessions and be able to prepare reports for the courts and social care teams.

About KLS’ Future Foundations education team
Future Foundations is an education programme of Katherine Low Settlement. Since 2004, KLS’ Future Foundations education team of 10 part-time staff and over 100 volunteers, have supported young refugees and their families in Battersea and the London Borough of Wandsworth to thrive in their education. Through mentoring, family support, casework and homework clubs, we provide the tailored support each young person and their family (if they have one) needs to overcome the barriers to education they face at home and school.

Context
This is an opportunity to play a pivotal role in a pioneering programme that could reshape how kinship families are supported across England.
Kinship is undertaking a pilot Randomised Controlled Trial (RCT) of Kinship Connected, a Kinship Navigator programme designed to provide intensive, specialist support to kinship carers and help them navigate complex systems.
This is a multi-partner programme involving funders, independent evaluators, participating local authorities, internal delivery teams and kinship carers with lived experience.
Kinship Navigators are at the heart of delivery. You will work directly with kinship carers in the community and in their homes, providing intensive 1-to-1 support and facilitating local support groups, while working closely with local authority partners and other services.
Because the programme forms part of a pilot RCT, maintaining high-quality case records and accurate data collection is critical. Your work will contribute directly to the evidence base about what works for kinship families.
Each Navigator will support around 40 kinship carers over the delivery year, holding a caseload of approximately 20 families at any one time.
You will be part of a wider delivery team including the Programmes Manager, Mobilisation and Delivery Project Manager, research colleagues and other Kinship teams, working together to ensure the programme is delivered ethically, consistently and to a high standard
About the role:
The Kinship Navigator provides intensive, time-limited support to kinship carers through the Kinship Connected programme, a structured six-month intervention designed to help kinship families stabilise placements and access the support they need.
Working directly with kinship carers, you will build trusting relationships while completing structured assessments, goal setting and reviews to help families strengthen support networks and navigate services such as children’s social care, education, health and community support.
This is a community-facing role, working directly with kinship carers in homes, community spaces and through co-location with local authority teams and partner organisations.
The role requires a combination of high-quality relational practice and disciplined case recording. As part of the pilot RCT, accurate documentation of activity, progress and outcomes is essential to ensure the programme can be evaluated and improved.
You will work closely with the Programmes Manager, delivery team, researchers and local authority partners to ensure the programme is delivered consistently, ethically and to a high standard, with a strong commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion in supporting kinship families from all backgrounds.

The Role
We are seeking a proactive and organised individual to join our team as Administration Manager. As Manager of a small team of administration assistants, you will play a crucial role in coordinating administrative support across our Perth and Aberdeen offices, ensuring the smooth running of the organisation by providing support across several of the charity’s functions including fundraising, finance, marketing and operations.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a similar office or administration management role, ideally within the charity sector. In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring exceptional care for both pets and clients while making well-connected, efficient decisions that prioritise pet welfare. As the leader of our home-based pet operations, you’ll oversee the smooth running of daily activities, acting as the subject matter expert in practical animal handling and assessment. Your goal will be to prepare pets for adoption as quickly and effectively as possible. You’ll work closely with your team to ensure timely pet assessments, behaviour management, and training, while providing full support to foster carers.

The Role
As the Project Manager, you will lead Sister Circle’s Healing Conversations Programme contribution to the SafeRoots DASA Partnership. The role has three deliverables: Providing trauma counselling, peer support for pregnancy/baby loss and birth trauma and our Women’s Conversation Cafe sessions, as part of a wider support offer through our SafeRoots Partnership (funded by MOPAC/DASA).

Our approach to hybrid working
We recognise the importance of coming together regularly, in-person, as a team, so we can share learnings and spend social time with each other. We also recognise that people need flexibility, and that homeworking enables focused work and can fit well in people’s lives.
We ask all staff to take part in pre-arranged team meetings which take place every six weeks in our office space. We also might ask you to meet in-person with members of your team from time to time, or to be available for face-to- face meetings with clients and partners where this enhances the work.
We assume that this would usually not amount to more than one day per fortnight for people who work full time. We are happy to discuss how this sits in your life. This can be agreed by your line manager.
In addition, because this role involves engaging with and recruiting to a large network of VCSE organisations, the post holder will be required to regularly attend in-person events across England. These are likely to take place around once a month and may sometimes require overnight stays. Travel, accommodation and subsistence costs for events across England will be paid, however, travel to our London office will be at the expense of the postholder.

The Role
The service aims to identify and address the needs of stroke survivors and carers across the stroke pathway, by providing a range of innovative support solutions, supporting them to meet their desired outcomes. A key part of the role will be to offer support to stroke survivors and their families; plan and deliver stroke support group sessions and ensure the smooth running of the service.
Reporting to the Service Delivery Coach, the Stroke Support Coordinator’s key responsibilities will include:
- Working with stroke survivors and carers to identify their needs, providing person centred support which enables them to achieve their desired outcomes.

About You
The post holder will have experience/background in:
- Experience of providing person centred support.
- Experience of working with people with a disability or long-term health condition, and their carers.
- Experience of using technology and IT systems to support your work and keep timely, accurate records.
- Effective listening skills with the ability to communicate clearly with a wide range of people.

This role requires extensive travel across a large geographical locality including the delivery of face-to-face support in the form of stroke awareness sessions, home and hospital visits. We are excited to offer an opportunity for an Independent Visitor Coordinator to join our dynamic, dedicated team supporting children and young people in Warrington and Stockport.
About the Role
As an Independent Visitor Coordinator, you will:
- Deliver a statutory Independent Visitor service to children in care and care leavers.
- Recruit, assess, train and support volunteers who become long term, trusted befrienders for young people.
- Build strong, positive relationships with children, volunteers, and key professionals.
- Champion a child led approach, ensuring young people’s wishes and feelings drive every decision (except where safeguarding concerns arise).
- Work collaboratively across Coram Voice and with partner agencies.
- Take independent responsibility for leading and supporting our volunteers, while working in partnership with the Children’s Rights Manager to support accurate reporting and contract monitoring.

We create innovative, inspiring, educational, fun projects for all young people, with an emphasis on those who are from challenging circumstances.
We are seeking an organised Assistant Project Manager & inspirational Lead Youth Worker to assist the Project Manager & leadership team to plan, coordinate and manage our various youth projects. You’ll engage directly with the young people in an authentic creative way providing support and facilitation. You should be confident to deputise for the Project Manager.
Location: Clapham, London UK, however the option of hybrid working is available at times.
Responsibilities include:
Project Management
· Assist in planning, implementing, coordinating and reviewing projects
· Engage with and deliver projects to participants (young people)
· Ensure monitoring, evaluation and reporting of projects
· Manage social media platforms -content & design
· Liaise with young people, parents/carers and other stakeholders
Youth Work
· Lead our team of sessional youth workers and volunteers
· Provide pastoral support and guidance to young people
· Deliver quality focused youth provision across our sites including schools
· Co-developing programmes
· Identify and draw out gifts and talents in our young people
· Assessing character development
· Ensuring participant safety during interaction (following Hebe policies & protocols)
Key Requirements/Desirables:
· Evidence of Youth Work experience
· SEN experience
· Project planning
· Excellent organisational skills
· Social Media competency
· Great IT Skills
· Excellent people skills and ability to interact with a wide range of client staff and demands.
· Ability to problem solve and work independently
Full Hebe training, security checks and Enhanced DBS checks will be undertaken by the successful applicants
16hrs per week (base which increases during project delivery). Rate is £14.50 per hour.
