About the Role

As Team Leader, you will be directly involved in managing a 4 bed specialist short stay Home and looking after children aged 12 to 18 years old with complex needs; including Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD), Mental Health Disorders, Substance Dependencies and Learning Disabilities.

Whether shift leading or joining in with daily activities, you will also share in the leadership of the team, helping to develop staff by modelling high standards of professionalism. 

The successful candidate will have:

• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Child Care or equivalent
•  GCSE English and Maths grades A-C.
• One year’s experience working at a level of responsibility with children and young people in a residential setting.
• An understanding of the regulatory framework relating to the provision of residential services for children and young people.
• Good understanding of the needs and risks regarding children in care.
• An understanding of trauma  informed practice.
• Experience of taking on leadership responsibilities in a teamwork setting.
• Ability to build genuine and trusting relationships with young people maintaining at all times high personal and professional standards.
• Excellent communication and team working skills.
• Ability to work shifts, including alternate weekend working and occasional sleep ins.

About the role

We're looking for a Caretaker to join our team based in Elephant and Castle. You will support the team to ensure our properties are maintained to a high standard by carrying out a variety of tasks including cleaning and handy person duties. You will deliver a professional, customer service focused service to ensure our properties are safe and work towards our good homes standard. You will be based within our IAP which is a 24/7 accommodation and support service for men leaving prison. They provide high levels of support, supervision, and complex care.

Responsibilities include:

• Clean buildings and rooms including end of tenancy deep cleans
• Prepare accommodation for new occupants
• Carry out basic repairs and maintenance which could include furniture upkeep, gardening, replacing bulbs, painting and decorating
• Work closely with teams to carry out risk assessments
• Work with external partners for further repair tasks

About you

We're looking for someone who has a keen interest in Caretaking and has an understanding of health, safety, and environment, with the ability to apply this practically to a residential service. You will be able to take ownership of your role and projects, and can work independently as well as part of a team. You will understand the needs of our residents and able to work flexibly to meet tailored needs for our residents and staff.

• Proven appropriate experience in a similar role, this can include housekeeping, cleaning, or handyperson work
• Proactive nature, with the ability to make decisions and use initiative to provide logical solutions, taking ownership and accountability
• Excellent communication skills both written and oral including relationship building
• Attention to detail and quality, with high level of organisation skills
• Knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environment laws and practices in accommodation settings

About the Role

As a Floating Support Worker, you will work with individuals who have experienced homelessness to help them maintain their accommodation and improve their quality of life. Supporting people across the seven West London boroughs, you’ll provide tailored, person-centred support that empowers people to live more independently.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assessing clients and creating support plans focused on housing stability, life skills, work, learning and wellbeing

The role will lead the strategic direction of our place-based work across Warwickshire, with a predominant focus on Warwickshire North Place as identified by need.

The development of this role reflects the strategic relevance of physical activity in Warwickshire, particularly at a place-level. Cameron's Cottage is the RSPB's residential centre for young people, located within the stunning woodlands at RSPB Franchises Lodge in the New Forest. The small and dedicated team is passionate about connecting young people to nature.

We are seeking a well-organised, communicative team member to provide comprehensive administrative support to both Cameron’s Cottage, and the reserve team, in facilitating the fulfilment of bookings and an effective working environment. Working location: mostly remote work with some travel required. As a Caseworker, you will provide trauma-informed care to individuals and families suffering from the sudden bereavement or life-altering injury of a loved one. Working mostly remotely, with some home visits to service users, you’ll offer vital emotional and practical support—including helping them access therapeutic resources, financial assistance, and guidance through the complexities of medical and legal processes.

Working location: mostly remote work with some travel required. Based in the north/central area of the South West region you will deliver a face-to-face service to clients in their own home or safe meeting place across the Dorset, Avon, Somerset, Gloucestershire and Wiltshire area  as well as providing support by Teams, phone, email or other means to suit the service user. We take a person-centred approach so the amount of travel will vary depending on your caseload at the time. You’re in control of your own diary. 

Why this role is important: Every 20 minutes, someone is killed or seriously injured on UK roads. For families affected, the emotional and practical challenges are immense. As a Caseworker, you will provide trauma-informed care to individuals and families suffering from the sudden bereavement or life-altering injury of a loved one. Working mostly remotely, with some home visits to service users, you’ll offer vital emotional and practical support—including helping them access therapeutic resources, financial assistance, and guidance through the complexities of medical and legal processes.

Who we're looking for 

Full training will be provided under the guidance of our dedicated Training Officer. Our induction program has been developed to equip caseworkers with the skills they need to provide high quality support to road victims and covers topics such as being trauma-informed, safeguarding and risk management. We're open to candidates from all sorts of backgrounds, as long as you're a compassionate, self-starter with a background in providing high-quality emotional support and advocacy. Your experience in roles within the NHS, any health and social care, road safety, counselling, lived experience or any type of casework could make you an ideal candidate. 

Essential Requirements: 

• A full, clean UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (travel expenses are reimbursed) 

• Resident in the north/central area of the South West Region. 

• Experience delivering frontline support, preferably involving sudden bereavement or heightened vulnerabilities.

Role Overview 

Support Through Sport CIO is seeking a highly motivated and organised individual to deliver our innovative School and Community Navigator programme throughout Nottingham and Nottinghamshire. The Senior School and Community Navigator will lead a team of three Navigators across four schools in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire. The role combines direct support to children and young people aged 10–17 with leadership and coordination responsibilities, ensuring delivery is of the highest standard and in line with Support Through Sport policies and project specifications.

Working closely with schools, families, and local agencies, the Senior Navigator will provide supervision and guidance to staff, build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, and ensure effective safeguarding, monitoring, and reporting systems are in place. You will work with young people aged 10–17 in community settings, building trust-based relationships and providing early intervention to reduce risk factors linked to crime, violence, and exploitation.

The role combines youth work, mentoring, and community engagement, supporting young people to tackle challenges such as disengagement in education, substance use, poverty, discrimination, and school exclusion. What is the role?
