Ambition Aspire Achieve is seeking an exceptional, values-led Chief Executive to lead our much-loved children and young people’s charity into its next chapter.

This is a rare opportunity to lead a practical, relationship-based and strongly rooted Newham charity that makes a real difference to children, young people and families facing disadvantage, vulnerability, SEND, disability or risk.

Founded in 2016 by Kevin Jenkins OBE, Ambition Aspire Achieve has grown from a small number of projects at the Terence Brown Arc in the Park into a well-established charity working across Newham. Today, AAA supports nearly 1,000 children and young people each year through its hubs, with many more reached through outreach, schools-based work and community programmes.

Our work is grounded in the belief that every child and young person should be able to enjoy their childhood, overcome barriers, build confidence and develop the skills and self-belief to achieve positive futures. We deliver a broad programme of support including after-school clubs, holiday programmes, youth clubs, SEND activities, mentoring, outdoor learning, sports, family days, residentials, detached youth work, schools-based youth safety work, community events and targeted family support.

The next Chief Executive will provide clear, steady and values-led leadership, working closely with the Chair and Board of Trustees. They will lead and support the staff team, strengthen organisational sustainability, maintain and develop partnerships, champion safeguarding and inclusion, and ensure children and young people remain at the heart of every decision.

As AAA does not currently have a dedicated senior fundraising post, the Chief Executive will also play a central role in securing and maintaining the income needed to sustain and develop the charity’s work. This will include trusts and foundations, statutory funding, corporate partnerships, individual donors, appeals and wider supporter engagement.

We are looking for someone who can combine strategic leadership with practical operational understanding. You may already be a Chief Executive, or you may be an experienced senior leader ready to step into your first Chief Executive role. What matters most is your ability to lead with clarity, care and resilience; build trusted relationships; secure income; uphold strong governance; and keep AAA’s values at the centre of how the charity works.

Charity and Staff Management

• Delegated responsibility for the day-to-day running of the charity, office administration, line management and supervision of the small staff team
• Liaison with HR support service, supported by the Chair and Treasurer

Strategic Development

Promotion and Communications

• Liaison with Assistance Dogs International, Assistance Dogs UK (ADUK) and fellow member organisations, including attendance at ADUK meetings
• Maintain and develop key relationships, supported by relevant staff and trustees

Finance and Fundraising

• Work with the Treasurer and relevant staff to support the management of annual budgets, financial reporting and monitoring
• Operational implementation of the Fundraising Strategy, working with relevant staff and trustees

Governance and Compliance

• Support the Board of Trustees to ensure high standards of governance and compliance with all legal requirements affecting the charity

Operations Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to take operational and administrative responsibility for a small, ambitious charity. You will run governance, compliance, contract management, finance liaison, data protection, safeguarding, HR, grant administration, and media and digital maintenance. You will work directly with the Chair.

This is a KEY gatekeeper role for someone who can steady the executive arm in response to the Board's strategic direction, concentrating on rigorous enforcement and maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Board administration (agendas, minutes, documents, filings, trustee records)

• Contract and grant administration (drafting, tracking, compliance)

• Finance liaison (working with finance service provider, accountant, treasurer)

RfPUK operates a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) framework where paid staff provide their own personal computer hardware to access our systems. All work is web-based via Google Workspace for Charities and does not require high-specification hardware. The charity provides all system user licenses and funds required antivirus software for work devices, but does not provide or fund personal hardware or domestic utility bills.

Cloudesley is recruiting a new permanent, part-time Finance Manager (2.5 days per week). This varied role includes regular financial management tasks, reporting, budget setting, liasion with property and investment managers and lawyers, as well as policy development and advising Trustees on strategic issues.

About Cloudesley

Cloudesley is an independent charitable trust that makes grants to people, organisations and churches in Islington of c. £ 2million per year. Our grants budget is split equally between our Health and Church Grants programmes.

In June 2025, Cloudesley’s total assets were £57 million and the annual gross income was £1.5 million. Currently, around half of Cloudesley's endowment is held in financial market investments managed by Cazenove, and the other half is in c. 90 residential properties on the Cloudesley Estate in Islington. To fund its work, the charity uses income and a prudent element of capital gains generated from both the investments and properties.

This is an interesting time to be joining Cloudesley as it continues to manage its finances to ensure it can support both current and future needs in Islington, implements its property strategy, and helps to respond to the multiple challenges facing people, organisations and churches in Islington.

Finance Manager role

This wide-ranging role includes:

• Administration of regular financial transactions, including relating to grants and the charity's property assets
• Preparation and monitoring of annual budget
• Production of management accounts and a variety of financial, investment and property reports
• Preparation of draft annual accounts and work with the auditor
• Working with the charity's investment and property managers

Staffing, governance and history

Cloudesley has a small team of four permanent staff. Staff work on a hybrid basis, with part of each week spent at the charity's office in King's Cross.

The charity has up to 15 Trustees at any one time, and a single corporate Trustee, Richard Cloudesley Trustee Limited. The Board of Trustees meets three times a year, and the Finance and Endowment Committee and Grants Committee meet quarterly. 

The charity dates back to 1517, when Tudor yeoman and Islington resident Richard Cloudesley wrote his will and left two 'Stony Fields' to Trustees. 

This is an exciting opportunity for a new Chief Executive Officer to lead our well-respected rare disease patient organisation through the next phase of growth and impact, in particular focussing on financial sustainability and influencing health policy for these rare diseases.These sit alongside the other grass-roots duties of a small charity CEO, including working with our Medical Advisory Team to develop new and maintain existing patient education resources, and overseeing our support services including volunteers and a professional psychological counselling service. Main Duties

Risk Management

• Lead the strategic and operational development of the organisation’s risk framework, ensuring alignment with ISO 31000 and organisational context
• Coordinate appropriate identification and management of risk across all senior leadership and accountable roles, ensuring coverages of all 12 classifications of risk per the HfJ framework: (Security; Safeguarding; Health & Safety; Financial; Corruption; People & Culture; Cyber, Information and IT; Governance; Legal & Compliance; Reputational; Quality; Strategic)
• Develop and oversee an annual roadmap and schedule to monitor, evaluate, and report on organisational risk maturity, risk strategies and risk transfer.

Incident & Crisis Management

• Serve as a core member of the Incident and Crisis Management Teams (IMT/CMT), advising and supporting leadership and country teams during critical incidents.
• Coordinate internal investigations into serious incidents, liaising with the Charity Commission as required.
• Maintain the incident register, ensure robust documentation, and facilitate post-incident reviews, learning and feedback to risk registers.
• Support development of the organisation’s complaints, accountability and whistleblowing mechanisms.

Data Protection

Compliance & Governance 

• Keep the organisation on track with UK GDPR and equivalent laws in other regions.

• Act as the go-to person for data protection questions from staff. 
• Support project and operational teams to build privacy into new systems and ways of working.

York Travellers Trust (YTT) is seeking an inspiring, values-led Chief Executive to lead our organisation through its next stage of development.

As Chief Executive, you will provide strategic leadership and hold overall responsibility for YTT’s performance, financial sustainability, governance, safeguarding and organisational development.

Working closely with our Board, staff and community members, you will:

Our Interim Executive Director will lead JustMoney Movement into the next chapter of our exciting story. The primary focus for the role will be to develop and implement a sustainable future strategy, while providing transitional leadership. 

The JustMoney Movement is a small organisation with a big vision. We are passionate about the role Christians and churches can play in bringing about an economy that works for people and planet.We have a vision of a fairer, greener future, and we believe money is integral to shaping that future. As Christians we believe our use of money should flow from our faith and values such as justice, compassion, the dignity of all, and the importance of caring for creation.  Our current strategic priority is to increase the reach, depth and diversity of engagement of Christian individuals, congregations and networks in the UK with the JustMoney Movement, in order to have a meaningful impact on policy and practice for a fairer, greener future.

Under the leadership of Sarah Edwards, over the past 5 years, we have rebranded from the Ecumenical Council for Corporate Responsibility (ECCR), and grown a substantial profile and programme of education and campaigning work across the UK churches, connecting faith and finance for a fairer, greener world.

We are living in turbulent times where we face interconnected, systemic crises in inequality, nature and the climate, driven by our financial and economic system. We believe our movement building approach, technical expertise, and wide range of collaborations across church, other faith and secular groups, enable us to play a vital role in confronting these crises.

At the same time, small charities face unprecedented challenges at this current moment, and require bold and innovative approaches in order to navigate this context. We are looking for an Interim Executive Director to help us build on this legacy, to secure a sustainable long-term future, while remaining agile and able to seize opportunities as they arise.The role will need to establish a sustainable future strategy and develop our funding strategy, while overseeing the delivery of our current workplan and ensuring sound governance of the charity.

We have a small, dedicated and talented team of staff and contractors delivering the work and a strong, diverse and experienced board, with a new incoming Chair, Simeon Mitchell, who has served as a trustee for a number of years.  We have welcomed four new trustees this year, bringing a wealth of skills, knowledge and enthusiasm.

Interim Executive Director (0.8 FTE, 6 to 12 months)

Salary: £49,493 for 4 days per week (pro rata from FT £61,866).  We have some flexibility to consider 3 days per week.

Location: Hybrid, based at home with option to work 1 day a week in London office. Some travel within the UK.

Contract: 6 to12 months

There is the possibility of a permanent role becoming available at the end of the Interim Executive Director role appointment, subject to funding.

An early, flexible start would be desirable from September/ October 2026.

Given the nature of the role, we are very open to discussions with the right candidate to identify mutually acceptable arrangements for the appointment.

Role description

· Partner with the Board, to develop and deliver JustMoney Movement’s strategy and objectives, rooted in our movement-building theory of change, and our Christian identity, culture and values.  This may include identifying and implementing change, as needed.

· Lead on the creation and delivery of our fundraising strategy to ensure JustMoney Movement’s financial viability for the long-term.  This will build on our current mix of grant funding, alongside our small but long-standing and loyal donor base of individuals and organisational supporters. We need to explore and grow alternative opportunities such as paid services and corporate funding.

· Oversight of operations and finance management, delivered by the Head of Operations.

· Support and empower the JustMoney Movement staff team in the delivery and monitoring of the 26-27 action plan for our education, campaigning and influencing activities. 

· Alongside the Director of Movement Building, represent the organisation externally, seeking opportunities to raise the profile and demonstrate the impact of the organisation, positioning JustMoney Movement as a leading voice on issues of faith and finance.

· Work with the Director of Movement Building to identify and lead on strategic relationships and collaborations with stakeholders, including funders and key partners, in order to achieve our objectives. 

· With the support of the Head of Operations, oversee a strong governance framework to ensure we meet external, legal and regulatory requirements and guidance (including the Charity Governance Code).

Person Specification

Experience:

· Management at board or management level of a charity, and the understanding of the governance requirements this brings

· Developing and implementing a fundraising strategy with a proven track record of raising funds

· Interim or change management, ideally within a small organisation

· People management, ideally within a small organisation, and through change processes

· Strategic planning, monitoring and evaluation for impact

· Working with UK churches (desirable)

· Engaging with questions of economic justice, Christian ethics and/or ethical investment (desirable)

· Campaigning or advocating for social change (desirable)

Knowledge and Skills:

· Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant area (e.g. business, theology, economics)

· Self-motivated with problem solving ability and critical thinking skills

· Outstanding interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

· A strong “can-do” attitude, combining hands-on skills with a strategic mindset

Therapeutic Management

• To manage and support a staff team, including the Head of Active Recovery, a Counselling Lead, Nexus Counselling Manager, a Family Support Group Facilitator, and administrators.

• To oversee all of the charity’s therapeutic services and ensure that efficient and high-quality services are delivered.

• To be the charity’s Designated Safeguarding Lead to respond effectively and efficiently to safeguarding concerns.

• To ensure staff are sufficiently trained in adult and child safeguarding and that training records are kept up-to-date.

• To oversee the charity’s pre-trial therapy processes and be a point of contact for the police.

• To develop and improve the charity’s therapeutic services, including any expansion of the services.

• To manage therapeutic recruitment, inductions and training.

• To hold monthly staff meetings and service team meetings when needed.

• To oversee the individual and group supervision arrangements and reporting for all staff. 

• To manage and have overall responsibility for the ongoing use of an online Case Management System, ensuring that data is inputted accurately for reporting purposes.

• To support the charity’s quality assurance and development of its services through monitoring  and responding to client feedback and outcomes data.

• To develop the charity’s survivor voice work and ensure that the charity’s services are informed by survivors and their lived experience.

Leadership

Client Work

• To provide one-to-one counselling for survivors of abuse of all genders, both online / by phone and face-to-face, with a caseload of approximately 4 clients. 

• To maintain confidential and accurate counselling notes of all sessions.

• To attend monthly one-to-one clinical supervision with a supervisor approved by the Southmead Project. (Supervision is a requirement of this charity as members of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy).

• To attend monthly one-to-one line management meetings.

• To work to the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy ethical guidelines.
