The Corporate Partnerships Officer will work with the Corporate Partnerships Manager to manage and develop our growing portfolio of corporate partners. By taking ownership of some of our smaller partners, as well as providing support on the delivery of our larger partnerships, you will ensure our partners at every level receive a consistently high standard of supporter care. This role will be instrumental in ensuring the long-term success of our partnerships programme, and our ability to help more people in the years to come.

We are seeking a proactive, relationship focused individual who can provide exceptional account management to a range of partners. You’ll have excellent communication skills and the ability to build engaging relationships, enthusiastically conveying Emmaus’ mission and impact in a range of settings.

You’ll have strong organisational skills with the ability to work to deadlines, prioritise and manage competing priorities. You’ll be comfortable using a range of IT solutions to communicate effectively with partners and ensure solid records on our partnerships and income are maintained.

We are looking for a Communications Manager to play a key role in shaping and delivering communications and marketing activity across supporter and corporate audiences.

We are based in London and support young people via our direct delivery programmes. We take what we learn from our work and use it to inspire businesses across the UK to do more to improve social mobility (making sure people from all backgrounds get fair opportunities).

We do this by:

· Running large events like The UK Social Mobility Awards to celebrate companies doing it well.

· Organising Social Mobility Day to raise awareness.

This role sits within the Marketing Communications team and supports the Head of Communications to deliver audience-centred communications and marketing that increases visibility, engagement and impact.

You will lead day-to-day marketing and communications activity, developing audience journeys and delivering targeted, campaigns, with a strong focus on email, digital content and social media.

About Ataxia UK 

Ataxia’ is an umbrella term for a group of progressive, neurological conditions which involve problems with co-ordination, balance and speech caused by disruption of the messages sent from our brains to our muscles.

About the Role   

As our Financial Controller, you'll lead the day-to-day financial operations of the charity, ensuring robust financial controls, accurate reporting and efficient processes that support our mission. You'll oversee month-end reporting, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis, providing clear insights to inform decision-making across the organisation. Working closely with colleagues throughout the charity, you'll manage grant and restricted fund reporting, support annual planning, drive continuous improvement in financial systems and processes, and lead a small finance team. You'll also play a key role in ensuring compliance with charity accounting standards, governance requirements and best practice.

About you 

We're looking for a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA ,CIPFA or similar) with at least five years' post-qualification experience and a proven track record in senior finance or audit roles. You'll be confident leading finance operations, managing staff, and turning complex financial information into clear, actionable insights.

You'll bring experience of charity finance, including grant management, restricted and unrestricted funds, and Charity SORP, alongside strong skills in Xero and Excel. Experience with Fathom and Raiser's Edge (or similar CRM/database systems) would be an advantage.

The Role

FareShare Midlands is delighted to be working in partnership with Pepsico in order to deliver a range of community based workshops that will provide advice and information around key areas of physical and mental wellbeing, financial resilience and employability skills to clients who use the services of our Community Food Members along with the provision of 121 sessions for individuals who require additional and tailored support.

To manage an Age UK Cheshire Charity Shop located in the Cheshire area, ensuring efficient and effective management of colleagues, volunteers, premises, sales, and stock to provide a high-quality retail service in relation to agreed performance targets. 

To achieve the maximum potential of funds for Age UK Cheshire by achieving charity retail standards and community engagement.

To ensure all appropriate standards of security and health and safety are met. To organise and manage the day-to-day operations of the store including effective communication with the Head of Retail and reporting of relevant data.

Main Duties:

1. To ensure that the Age UK Cheshire Charity Shop achieves required standards of performance and agreed sales targets:

§  Maximisation of sales through stock rotation, correct pricing, brand awareness and merchandising, to use the full potential of the stock available to you.

§  To gain Gift Aid on eligible donations to Age UK Cheshire to maximise funds for the charity in line with HMRC guidelines. This includes signing up new donors to the scheme and selling stock accordingly.

§  Responsible for managing, training, and developing the Assistant Retail Manager to achieve pre-set objectives.

§  Support, train, and coordinate the work of volunteers in the shop as required.

§  Working with the Assistant Retail Manager to ensure that the shop complies with all the relevant legislation, trading standards and health and safety.

§  Ensuring stock from donors is correctly received and stored within the shop. Working with the Area Retail Manager to make certain of timely collections and suitable deliveries to merchandise appropriately and safely.

§  Administrative systems and working practices to include daily and weekly sales reports, charity log and financial information.

§  Identify stock which can maximise income when sold via e-commerce, auctions, or other sales opportunities.

§  To plan and prioritise special promotions, seasonal adjustments, and sale events.

RETAIL MANAGER - PERSON SPECIFICATION

AGE UK CHESHIRE

RETAIL MANAGER - ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The organisation currently operates 9 charity shops and has ambitious plans to open more charity shops which all help to provide funds for the charity to deliver its services for older people in Cheshire, as well as being a location to promote Age UK Cheshire services.

All Age UK Cheshire shops sell unwanted household and personal goods donated by the public and other commercial companies. The success of the shops is dependent upon achieving a regular adequate supply of donations.  Age UK Cheshire shops have established a reputation for selling good quality items, well presented and at reasonable prices. 

The shop staffing structure is supported by volunteer helpers.  They do not receive any payment other than the reimbursement of their exact travel costs from their home to the shop. 

The shops are all expected to trade profitably. Their function is to provide income to the organisation. Each shop is given a weekly sales target to achieve to produce a targeted net profit once rents and other costs have been deducted.

Each shop has a mixture of staff and volunteers covering a 6- or 7-day working period.  The Retail Manager will be supported by an Assistant Retail Manager working flexibly to provide cover at the shop. At times you might be asked to cover other shops depending on staffing issues, so flexibility is a must. Volunteer support is key to the success of the operation and development of “designated volunteers” who can take responsibility for the shop, during some periods of staff absence. 

Location: Shop Base – Alderley Edge. You may be required to cover other shops on an ad hoc basis.

Hours: 36.25 hours per week, worked over 5 days Monday to Sunday.  Hours are required to be flexible to ensure that the shop is staffed appropriately.  There may be a requirement to travel between shops.  In exceptional circumstances you may be required to work 6 days per week. The role will require working over the Christmas period and potentially all bank holidays.

Salary:  £25452.03 per annum (£13.50 per hour).  Overtime payments can be paid for exceptional circumstances where additional days have been worked.

Pension: Age UK Cheshire has an automatic enrolment workplace pension scheme in place for eligible employees.

Leave: 25 days’ leave per annum (plus Bank Holidays) rising after 5 years’ continuous service by one day per year (pro rata) to a maximum of 30 days’ leave after 10 years.

Contract: All new staff are subject to a three-month probationary period. 4 weeks’ notice is required to terminate employment by either side i.e., the employee or Age UK Cheshire. During the probationary period, one week’s notice is required by either side.

Health Care: All staff will automatically join the Age UK Cheshire’s Health Care Cash Plan and will be entitled to receive healthcare benefits.

The Role

The Trusts & Grants Officer is responsible for delivering income from trusts, foundations and statutory funders through proactive prospect research, high quality applications, relationship management and timely reporting, contributing directly to FareShare Midlands’ income targets and growth plans.

Trusts & Grants Delivery

• Manage a portfolio of trust, foundation and grant funders
• Writing applications and reports
• Budget management for restricted funds
• Working with FSM and FSUK colleagues on bids
• Build strong relationships with programme officers, grant managers, funding panels.
• Managing restricted funding compliance
• Coordinating evaluation and evidence collection for funder reports
• Monitoring funder requirements and deadlines

Pipeline Development & Prospect Research

• Identify a pipeline of new opportunities in trusts, grants, foundations and corporate to secure new income for FareShare Midlands
• Maintain a rolling 12 to 18 month pipeline
• Regular prospect research using databases (e.g. funds online, the charity commission website, idox etc)
• Prioritising opportunities by value, likelihood and strategic fit
• Assisting on project development working with colleagues to build in the needs and preferences of funders to ensure projects can attract support

Funder Stewardship & Reporting

• Professional stewardship of trusts and foundations funders
• Managing funder communications in line with grant agreements
• Working with the stewardship officer and comms team to identify and develop impact stories and relevant data.

Communication

• Writing funder-facing materials
• Ensuring clarity, evidence and compliance in all submissions
• Coordinating case studies and impact data for bids

Compliance, Monitoring & Administration

 Application tracker ownership

• Reporting calendar management
• Income forecasting for trusts & grants
• Document management for funder requirements

Age UK Wandsworth is a local, independent charity that works to promote the wellbeing of all older people in the London Borough of Wandsworth.

This is a new role in our staff team that has been created to support our Executive Team during an exciting transition period where the organisation is growing and developing new services to help older people.

Fundraising Team

• Responsible for the management and maximisation of corporate partnerships at City Harvest

About the role

City Harvest relies on voluntary income to raise £4.2 million each year, with corporate partnerships contributing around 30% of total income. This role is central to managing and growing a portfolio of valued corporate supporters, from smaller partnerships through to strategic, multi-year relationships. As City Harvest continues to secure new partnerships worth £50k+, you will play a key role in setting these up for success and delivering excellent account management and stewardship. You will work closely with the Senior New Business Manager and Head of Fundraising, both experienced corporate fundraising specialists, as part of a small, fun and friendly team of five, whose main areas of focus are corporate partnerships, major donors, and trusts and foundations.

Key Deliverables

• Manage and support the development of strategic partnerships for the charity
• Build relationships with multiple stakeholders at corporate partners to develop engagement and long-term commitment
• Manage a range of partnerships, such as charity of the year, London chosen charity, commercial, cause-related marketing, and affinity partnerships (£5k-£100k)
• Maximise income through new ideas and proactive stewardship
• Take overall responsibility for all partnership elements, account plans, impact reporting, employee fundraising, payroll giving, challenge events, sponsorship, etc.
• Develop high-quality materials for current and future partners of City Harvest, including pitch decks and impact reports
• Work closely with the Communications team to design and deliver suitable communication plans for each partner
• Develop new materials for partnerships with City Harvest
• Develop new fundraising and partnership ideas for the charity
• Set up newly secured partnerships from the outset alongside the Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager
• Lead partner visits to City Harvest sites
• Identify touchpoints for SLT, CEO, & Board Engagement for relevant partners
• Support at fundraising events, including challenge events and fundraising events (these could include weekends or evenings from time to time)
• Work collaboratively with the fundraising team to support other income areas as needed

Strategy and Planning

• Monitor and evaluate each partnership to ensure partnership objectives and contractual obligations are met
• Develop maximisation plans for each partner
• Work closely with City Harvest's internal departments, including communications, volunteering, food, and the community team, to create meaningful partnership activities and meet partnerships KPI’s

New Business

• Work closely with the Senior Business Development Manager to support new business wins
• Work closely with corporate volunteering to support converting corporate volunteer groups to partners

Person Specification

Essential

• Minimum 2 years’ experience working in Corporate Fundraising in the charity sector or within a CSR team managing employee fundraising
• Demonstrable experience in managing corporate fundraising partnerships

The Fundraising and Comms Officer will play a key role in delivering an integrated fundraising and communications programme that drives income, strengthens supporter relationships, and raises the profile of St John Ambulance Cymru.
