Refugee Action Kingston (RAK) is seeking a dedicated and highly organised Youth Activities and Enrichment Coordinator to join our award-winning Bright Futures Children and Young People's Programme.
In this rewarding role, you will plan and coordinate engaging and inclusive educational, recreational and enrichment activities that help refugee and asylum-seeking children and young people build confidence, develop skills, improve wellbeing and feel connected to their local community.

Purpose of the Role
The Youth Activities and Enrichment Coordinator will play a key role in planning, coordinating, delivering and monitoring educational, recreational and enrichment activities as part of our award-winning Bright Futures Children’s and Young People’s Programme. Working closely with the Head of Services/Family Support and Supplementary School Manager, Primary Teacher, external partners and volunteers, the post holder will ensure the provision of engaging, inclusive and memorable opportunities. The Head of Research and Policy will lead the trust's research, evidence and advocacy work.

You will be working with the Service Manager and be jointly responsible for maintaining an overview of all services, leading a highly motivated team of Team Leaders and Senior staff and contributing to the further development of services within the region. You must be an accomplished manager and have extensive experience and knowledge of working within the social care sector in support of people with learning disabilities and mental health needs.

You will carry out the role demonstrating a person-centred approach with a warm, confident, professional manner. Experience of staff and service management is essential. You must be able to lead a team with confidence and provide clear guidance, supervision and support to your team members. You will be able to communicate positively and professionally with the families of the people we support, their advocates and other agencies.
You will be based in our friendly, well equipped office Blackpool and will be expected to have regular direct contact with service users and attend person-centred reviews. You will be required to oversee staff deployment and rotas and to work in a flexible manner yourself including working evenings and weekends.

About the role:
The right candidate will be a highly motivated person capable of achieving high levels of compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in a housing setting.
You will be responsible for overseeing the full range of asset compliance including fire safety, gas, electric and legionella testing as well as be involved in embedding best practice and risk management.
This role also combines compliance with managing our clients technical contracts; therefore, you will also lead a team in overseeing responsive repairs and a planned programmes, whilst ensuring the safety and satisfaction of their customers at all times.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
· Proven track record and experience of contract management and managing areas of housing compliance
· Strong financial, commercial and building safety awareness
· Effective communicator, with robust problem-solving and decision-making skills

Role Overview
The Head of Partnerships and Development will lead Multibank Scotland’s partnership and development activity.
This is a senior, outward-facing role for someone who can identify opportunities, make clear and compelling asks, build trust quickly and turn ideas into practical partnerships. We are looking for someone who creates momentum and follows opportunities through, rather than someone focused solely on networking or stakeholder management.
The role will lead the day-to-day development pipeline across corporate partnerships, product supply, strategic relationships, expansion opportunities, funding proposals and supporter stewardship.
A central part of the role will be developing partnerships that increase the volume, quality and range of goods available for redistribution. This will include working with businesses, manufacturers, retailers, logistics providers and other organisations to secure donated goods, services, expertise and in-kind support.
The postholder will also help expand Multibank Scotland’s reach. Working closely with the Chief Executive and the Scotland-wide Operations Manager, they will support the development of new partnerships, satellite sites and delivery models across Scotland.
Fundraising will form part of the role, but it is not primarily a traditional fundraising post. The emphasis is on building strategic partnerships that create long-term value, whether through goods, funding, services, expertise, infrastructure or collaboration.
The Chief Executive will continue to lead on overall strategy, major funder relationships, Board reporting, governance, finance and key organisational decisions. The successful candidate will add senior capacity at an important stage of growth, helping to turn external interest and opportunity into delivery and lasting impact.
