About the role
We’re looking for a friendly, organised and proactive Finance Officer to join our small and welcoming team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with detail, likes helping others understand finance processes, and wants their work to genuinely make a difference. This role is only being offered in a full time, permanent capacity.
You’ll be right at the heart of the organisation, supporting our finance and grants work and helping keep things running smoothly behind the scenes. The role is mostly home‑based, so you’ll need a safe and suitable space to work from. We’ll provide a laptop and phone, and you’ll spend at least one day a week with the team in our Leatherhead office.

What you’ll be doing
Finance & grants support
Looking after day‑to‑day bookkeeping using Xero, including accurate coding of transactions
Reconciling bank accounts and Barclaycard statements each month
Setting up and maintaining supplier and donor records, including bank details
Supporting colleagues with ApprovalMax, Coretime and timesheet processing
Reviewing staff and volunteer expenses to make sure they follow our policies
Preparing supplier payment runs for review
Helping set up project codes, tracking categories and staff rates
Supporting grants administration, including budget monitoring and donor reporting
Pulling together financial information and evidence for audits and funder reports
Working closely with the Finance Manager on reporting, reconciliations and planning
General & team support
Being part of the Finance & Operations team, helping colleagues with systems and IT queries
Working with our external IT support when needed
Contributing ideas to improve how we work across finance, HR, IT and office processes
Getting involved in team events and wider organisational activities

About you
You’re approachable, well‑organised and comfortable working with numbers and systems. You enjoy helping others, take pride in doing things accurately, and are happy juggling a range of tasks. You will be confident, with the ability to seek out and solve problems on your own initiative, whilst working within a supportive framework.
You’ll need:
An AAT Level 2 qualification or equivalent hands‑on finance experience
At least one year’s experience in a finance or accounting role
Experience using accounting software such as Xero or Sage
Good Excel and general IT skills
Great attention to detail and a methodical approach
The ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines
A professional, discreet approach and respect for confidentiality
A suitable home working environment

Job Purpose
The Programme Development Manager role is a critical role in ensuring the development and progression of our programmes. Main Duties and Responsibilities
1. Partnership and Proposal Development: Develop and deliver compelling partnerships to expand our existing donor-base
· Scope funding and partnership opportunities and engage with existing, new and potential institutional donors and programme partners through 1) desk research; 2) preparing donor/partner profiles; 3) updating an active pipeline of proposals and opportunities; 4) engaging, building and maintaining new and existing partnerships.

· Coordinate monthly project management meetings for key projects with National Offices.
· Conduct monitoring visits (if necessary) to projects, alongside the provision of distance monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning (MEAL) and safeguarding support to National Offices and their partners. Collate data, ensuring it is of high quality and produced in line with grant agreements.
· Draft, review and edit/format project reports for timely submissions to donors in close collaboration with Habitat GB colleagues, National Offices/Branches and HFHI colleagues, ensuring donor compliance.

Responsibilities
· Assess and process all bursary applications, including Slater Scholarships, Worcester, Hanway and Green Skills bursaries against clearly defined eligibility criteria
· Authorise the award of financial bursaries and approve beneficiary claims and expenses
· Maximise the use bursary funding and ensure successful outcomes for beneficiaries
· Identify new bursary funding opportunities and devise bids in collaboration with the fundraising team

The CAPSA (Culturally Appropriate Peer Support and Advocacy) Worker role has been specifically designed to support Black people using the secondary mental health system. As a CAPSA Worker, you will provide both Generic Mental Health Advocacy and Independent Mental Health Advocacy (IMHA) to eligible individuals, including people detained under the Mental Health Act(MHA) 1983/2007, conditionally discharged restricted patients, those under Guardianship, and those on Community Treatment orders, as well as individuals considered for section 57 treatments.

Black Thrive Lambeth has developed a co-designed, culturally appropriate peer support and advocacy service (CAPSA) on behalf of the Living Well Network Alliance (LWNA). CAPSA provides support to Black community members with mental health needs through peer support and advocacy, led by individuals with lived experience or lived understanding of mental health challenges. The service creates a space where experiences are respected, accepted, and valued equally.

What is the Worker-led Transition project?
The Worker-led Transition project is a collaboration between NEON and the Trades Union Congress (TUC) that aims to future-proof manufacturing jobs, accelerate climate action and push back against far-right politics in industrial communities.
The TUC estimates that the future of up to 800,000 jobs in the UK (in sectors like chemicals, automotive, steel, ceramics, their supply chains and more) depend on timely planning and investment in industry to meet the needs of a decarbonised economy. The Purpose of the Role
The Refugee Employability Officer will provide tailored employability support to resettled refugees in Hampshire under the Afghan Resettlement Programme (ARP), the United Kingdom Resettlement Scheme (UKRS), Community Sponsorship and other eligible schemes.
The role delivers structured one-to-one and group-based support focusing on supporting individuals towards employment. This will include agreeing and supporting individuals towards employability related goals and actions within the Individual Support Plan, job search and application support, interview preparation, understanding UK workplace expectations, employer engagement, and links to training, apprenticeships and (where appropriate) self-employment. This work will support individuals often facing barriers such as limited English, recognition of overseas qualifications, childcare responsibilities, health needs or confidence challenges.
Employability support will be integrated within wider Integration support planning to promote sustainable economic independence, strengthen longer-term integration outcomes and support access to appropriate public services where needed.
Key Working Relationships
This position will work closely with all staff involved in the delivery of the Hampshire Resettlement and Integration Support Service. This will include the Programme Manager (Resettlement and Integration), Programme Manager (Economic Empowerment), Senior Integration and Resettlement Officers, Integration Officer, Bilingual Integration Officer, Bilingual Resettlement Officers, ESOL and Education colleagues, Employment Caseworkers and other relevant staff.
