About the Role
The Lead Lawyer - Africa Death Penalty Team is responsible for coordinating Reprieve’s litigation and advocacy in Sub-Saharan Africa. At the moment, the team works on death penalty casework and abolition advocacy in Malawi, Tanzania, and Kenya.
Our casework includes work on appeals to the Malawi Supreme Court of Appeal in the context of historic denials of a right to appeal and related contextual challenges; large-scale projects, such as the Kenya resentencing project, wherein we support stakeholders to ensure 5,000+ people are able to access a chance at reducing their sentence from death via a new sentence hearing, as well as supporting on individual strategic resentencing cases; and long-term regional projects, such as our strategic litigation before the African Court on Human and Peoples’ Rights, which challenges the mandatory death penalty, torture, and other associated violations of the African Charter. This is an opportunity to join a team that has developed groundbreaking work with great success in getting people off death row, making significant contribution to legal reforms and towards abolition.

Length and Salary
This is a full-time role, on a one-year fixed term contract, with the possibility to extend, subject to funding. The annual salary is £52,088 per annum, less any required deductions for income tax and national insurance.
This role is based in Reprieve’s London office. Reprieve operates a hybrid working model and we require staff to work two days per week from the London office and the rest of the week from home. Applicants must have the current right to work in the UK, which will be checked prior to interview.
Your presence is important during core office hours, whether remotely or in the office. You will also be available outside of office hours in the event of an emergency, for example case developments that require urgent action. As an Arts Psychotherapist you will promote the recovery of young people and vulnerable adults following a disclosure of child sexual abuse and/or domestic abuse by reducing the emotional, psychological and physical symptoms of child abuse through the provision of early intervention therapeutic assessment, psycho-education, strategies for acute stress symptoms and interventions. This work will be undertaken following pre-trial therapy guidelines until the client has completed the Criminal Justice Process.

Partnership Experience Manager (Maternity Cover)

About the role
You will play a key role in driving the continuous improvement and growth of our national partnership through deepening the quality and impact of our local collaboration hubs. What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience within fundraising and focus on digital fundraising

The role
As a Head of Art and Music, you’ll lead a multi-disciplinary team, contribute to organisation-wide planning and change programmes, and ensure culture continues to enhance the wellbeing and vibrancy of Glasgow’s communities and economy.
The candidate
If you’re interested in joining us, you’ll need:
• Education to degree level (or with equivalent senior-level experience) in a relevant field such as cultural policy, arts management, or creative industries leadership.
• A proven track record of strategic leadership in a senior role, with the ability to lead large, multidisciplinary teams, shape organisational direction, and deliver results within a complex arts, culture, or music environment.
• A sound understanding of the challenges and opportunities in delivering arts and music services in a public and third sector context.
• Strong financial and budget management skills with an in-depth knowledge of the arts and cultural funding landscape and a proven ability to secure, manage, and grow income from diverse sources.
• Experience of designing or delivering inclusive cultural programmes in partnership with diverse communities and communities of interest.

About the role:
This role is based in Staffordshire (we have an office in Stafford or Stoke). The caseworker will work directly with children and young people across the area; with hybrid working an option after the 6 month probationary period.
As a CYP DA Practitioner you will be:
- Working directly and indirectly with children and young people
- Delivering services mostly through education establishments
- Working within a wider DA service for the whole family approach
You will need:
- Good communication skills
- An ability to engage, build rapport and motivate young people
- A good understanding of domestic abuse and its impact on young people
