About you
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive person. You will have good knowledge of homelessness policy and practice, strong written and spoken communication skills, including report writing, and the ability to collate and present quantitative and qualitative information. You will have excellent digital and IT skills, including Microsoft 365, Excel and Word, with the ability to adopt and apply AI-enabled productivity tools (e.g. Microsoft Copilot or equivalent) to improve ways of working.
You will also be confident in building relationships and working in partnership with shelters, day services, churches, community projects, funders, and other stakeholders.
About the role
The successful candidate will provide essential operational, administrative and coordination support to the Faith and Community Development Team, working closely with the London Partnerships and Development Lead. They will support smooth service delivery, stakeholder engagement, internal communications, meetings and events, reporting processes, and will act as partnership manager for a small number of projects across London.

Role overview
Shine supports a community of over 15,000 members living with spina bifida and/or hydrocephalus, including 10,000 adults (25+).
You will be delivering high-quality support and creating opportunities for adults living with spina bifida and/or hydrocephalus and their carers, supporting Shine members to lead healthy, independent, and fulfilling lives by improving condition management and fostering connections within the Shine community.

Through immersive workshops in our Choices and Consequences Exhibitions and free online resources, we have reached over 50,000 young people so far. About the Role
We are looking for an education or youth work professional who can deliver our programmes to a very high standard. You will be a skilled facilitator and communicator who can engage with young people from a diverse range of backgrounds. As Youth Programmes Officer you will be responsible for the delivery and coordination of our flagship knife crime prevention workshops to young people, to a high standard. Home-Start Guildford is seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Community Engagement & Fundraising Officer to help grow income, strengthen community partnerships and raise awareness of our work supporting local families with young children.

Home-Start Guildford is an independent charity supporting local families with at least one child under five who are struggling to cope with the challenges of family life. We believe every child deserves the best possible start and every parent should have the support they need to thrive. Working alongside trained volunteers and skilled staff, we provide compassionate, practical and emotional support to families when they need it most.
About the Role
This is a newly created role and an exciting opportunity to help shape how Home-Start Guildford engages with supporters, businesses, schools and community groups across Guildford Borough. Working as part of a small, supportive team, you will play a key role in developing community fundraising, local partnerships and supporter engagement, helping to build the charity's long-term sustainability and impact.
The role is for 15 hours per week, ideally worked across 2–3 days, with a preference for one of the days to be on a Thursday. We are happy to discuss and agree working days with the successful candidate.
The position is initially offered on a 12-month fixed-term basis as part of our commitment to strengthening community engagement and developing sustainable income streams. We hope to build on the success of the role and explore opportunities for it to continue beyond the initial contract period, subject to funding availability and organisational need.

As Senior Social Challenge Officer, you will lead the growth, delivery and optimisation of the charity’s Social Challenges, Weddings and Birthdays fundraising portfolio. Working closely with the Digital and Experiential Manager, you will strengthen existing products and identify future opportunities through data insight and sector trend analysis. You will oversee the end-to-end project management of digital fundraising activities, from setting targets and KPIs to briefing suppliers, monitoring delivery, and evaluating performance. You will also provide hands-on leadership of two Fundraising Officers.
Essential criteria:
- Experience of managing fundraising or income generation activities and a proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets across a range of channels and products
- Experience of using an innovation process to identify and implement new activity or improve existing activity.
- Experience in planning and executing digital/Meta-based challenges such as celebrations, and social challenges – as well as related knowledge of these products.
