Location: Based in Crisis Skylight Edinburgh, Cranston House, 271 Canongate, EH8 8BQ, with regular travel to partners and supporters across Scotland, and to London for wider team meetings.

About the role

2025 was a huge year for Scotland, Crisis’ campaign to introduce new laws to prevent homelessness was a success. Scotland now has one of the most progressive homelessness systems in the world. But rising living costs, shortages of affordable homes and a lack of support are pushing more people towards poverty and homelessness. It doesn’t have to be this way.

We are now looking for a Fundraising Manager to focus on building and shaping Crisis’s high value income in Scotland in both corporate partnerships and philanthropy. With a strategic focus, you will connect high value partners and supporters our mission in ways that are ethical, person-centred and rooted in dignity and respect for people experiencing homelessness.

You will be responsible for proactively identifying, cultivating and converting a pipeline of high value prospects across corporate and philanthropy, as well as managing a portfolio of high value individuals and providing a brilliant stewardship experience. We have ambitions to significantly increase the high value income we generate in Scotland and will lead on the development of a growth strategy to help us realise these ambitions.

Working collaboratively across Crisis, you’ll champion inclusive, values-led ways of working and use insight, influence and partnership to help drive lasting impact in our work to end homelessness.

About you

We are looking for:

• A highly motivated, proactive relationship builder with a strong track record of growing regional high-value income and spotting the most promising opportunities
• An ambitious, confident, values-led fundraiser has experience leading direct (high value) income generation within Scotland
• Strong experience in identifying, cultivating and winning regional and devolved nations corporate partnerships and delivering brilliant stewardship to a portfolio of philanthropists.
• Proven ability to develop compelling regional or devolved-nations cases for support and high-value propositions
• Strategic and outcome-focused, with the credibility and drive to demonstrate the income potential of high value income in Scotland and build a plan to realise it.

BIAS is a leading local Irish charity which has supported England’s largest community in Brent for over 45 years. We deliver our support across London through our welfare advice drop-in service, our active ageing clubs and our Be-a-Friend volunteer scheme. This is an exciting new role in which you will proactively generate and grow fundraising income across all fundraising streams to enable us to continue supporting the most vulnerable members of the Irish community. You will support our fundraising strategy by contributing to digital communications and creative content across all channels, in cooperation with project delivery teams. The role will play a central part in raising awareness and growing supporter engagement through digital  campaigns, donor events, individual giving initiatives and the development of relationships with local businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver BIAS’s community fundraising strategy.
• Develop and implement a varied portfolio of events, community fundraising activities and campaigns, all of which reflect the spirit of BIAS.
• Explore marketing opportunities to raise the profile of the charity.

To achieve these objectives, the post holder will be expected to:

• Plan, budget, coordinate and attend an annual community fundraising and events calendar with set objectives, budgets and KPIs for each activity.
• Regularly review the performance of fundraising activities/events, making  recommendations for improvement.
• Build and maintain a variety of community relationships across varying stakeholders.
• Explore and coordinate fundraising opportunities such as online donation platforms, auction platforms and text-to- donate services.
• Work with colleagues to ensure that all events are adequately supported with staff, volunteers and post-event debriefs.
• Ensure that all events and activities are compliant with the Code of Fundraising Practice, GDPR and internal policies.

This job description reflects the basic duties required of the Fundraising Manager. However, it is necessary for all staff to be flexible and you may be required from time to time to perform other reasonable duties which are required for the efficient running of the organisation. We will also offer training opportunities to support your career development.

What we’re looking for…

• Experience of designing and delivering successful community fundraising events, campaigns and activities, preferably with a track record of at least two years.
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills, including budget and project management.
• Ability to build excellent working relationships, especially with supporters and partners.
• Strong team player who will ensure clear and regular communication with the BIAS management team.
• Ability to keep calm under pressure and maintain a clear head, anticipating risks and problems.
• A willingness to adapt and be flexible.
• Ability to travel.
• Competent user of Microsoft Office suite, with experience of CRM systems.
• Empathy and an understanding of the Irish community.

You will be primarily based at the St Petrock’s homelessness centre, with the opportunity for some hybrid working (at home or at local co-working venue). The Fundraising Officer will drive the growth and diversification of income for both The Police Treatment Centres and The Police Children’s Charity. The role is responsible for developing, managing, and expanding a range of fundraising channels—including third-party fundraising, grants and trusts, charity lottery and corporate sponsorship. By building strong relationships, identifying new opportunities, and delivering effective fundraising initiatives, the Fundraising Officer will play a key role in strengthening the long-term resilience and impact of both organisations.

Main responsibilities of the role:

• Support and develop relationships with individuals, community groups, and corporate partners undertaking independent fundraising activities.

The Multiple System Atrophy Trust (MSA Trust) is the UK and Eire’s leading national charity offering vital support to people affected by MSA.  We are entirely funded through voluntary income. Most of our supporters are already familiar with our cause and need guidance and empathetic stewardship to maximise their fundraising in memory or in support of their loved ones.  

Can you help?  We are looking for a caring, friendly and innovative Fundraising Officer who will be the first point of contact for our donor base and can cultivate long term relationships with them.

Reporting to our Senior Fundraising Engagement Officer this role would be ideal if you:

About the Role

As Fundraising and Relationship Manager, you’ll work within an ambitious team, securing sustainable income to ensure that the Youth Zone can deliver high-quality, safe and inclusive services for young people. This is a dynamic and rewarding role at the heart of the Fundraising and Communications team, helping to generate the income needed each year to keep the Youth Zone sustainable.

From working with High Net Worth Individual and organisations on the Founder Patron campaign, to working on Corporate Partnerships, individual giving campaigns, major gifts and high value supporters to supporting and growing community-led fundraising, planning and delivering events, campaigns and appeals.

About You

You will need strong relationship building skills, with a proven track record of income generation. Being able to tell good stories around local case studies to build a picture of why a Youth Zone is needed in NEL, along with presentations skills and experience of working is a must.

You’ll bring excellent administrative skills to the role. The team work with a CRM system and require accurate preparation of proposals, gift agreements, and reports. Attention to detail and strong organisational abilities are essential. Most importantly, you have a genuine passion for our local area and for improving the quality of life of our members.

You will have experience of:

• Income generation through personally securing major donor gifts from high net worth individual (HNWIs) and/or corporates, to lower level community and corporate gifts with an impressive track record in securing significant funds and meeting challenging financial targets, including both new business and account management.
• Developing a new pipeline of HNWIs and/or corporate prospects and being pro-active in converting these to active donors.
• Supporting community-led fundraising and events, campaigns and appeals.
• Managing a fundraising pipeline or prospect list, from initial research through to proposal, sign up and stewardship, using a CRM system, such as Salesforce to track progress and outcomes.
• Producing high-quality donor reports, meeting deadlines and exceeding expectations through clear narrative, data and case studies.
• Representing an organisation externally, such as at funder meetings, networking events or presentations, with confidence and professionalism.
• Working to and achieving personal targets and KPIs.

About the Organisation

This is a brand-new locally run youth charity, set to provide thousands of young people with the opportunity to have fun, make new friends, try something new and feel safe. With community centric values and located in the heart of Grimsby, it will be an inspiring place for young people aged 8 – 19, and up to 25 for those with additional needs, to enjoy their leisure. The building is due to be completed in 2025.

Located in Tower Hamlets, we welcome people of all ages to our large, friendly community centre in Shoreditch where we offer a wide range of activities promoting wellbeing and social connections. Our services include sensory play for Under-5’s, youth programmes, wellbeing activities for those experiencing mental health issues, bilingual advice, and activities to reduce social isolation and enhance physical and mental wellbeing for older people. We also run a day centre in Shadwell, where we care for elders from the Bangladeshi and other communities. 

We have a unique relationship with our founders, the Guild (alumnae) of Cheltenham Ladies’ College, we are located on the fringes of the City, and we generate income from hiring out space in our community centre. These opportunities make the Marketing & Fundraising Manager position varied and interesting, with plenty of possibility to grow and develop in the role. 

Job Purpose:

The Marketing & Fundraising Manager will play a key role in developing and implementing St Hilda’s East’s marketing strategy and will take the lead in organising fundraising events and securing funds from individual donations, and rental and room hire income.

They will lead on communications with external stakeholders through the development and implementation of SHE’s marketing plans and social media strategy. There will be a particular focus on strengthening our unique link with the Guild (alumnae) of Cheltenham Ladies’ College, as well as with parents and pupils of the school – to raise awareness of the impact of St. Hilda’s East and to organise joint events. The postholder will work alongside freelance fundraisers who focus on maximising grant income.

It is not essential to have experience in the non-profit sector; we would love to hear from you if you have experience in sales and marketing in a commercial environment and are looking to bring your talents to the charity sector.

Hours/contract: Permanent, full time, 36 hours per week (job share or part-time hours will be considered for the right candidate)

We’re looking for a confident and enthusiastic fundraiser with a track record of delivering and leading major donor fundraising, membership schemes, corporate partnerships as well as securing significant funds from Trusts and Foundations.

The Fundraising Manager is responsible for implementing the charity’s fundraising strategy to increase our fundraised income to support all areas of our activity. This will be achieved by connecting donors and supporters to our mission to delight and unite communities through the power of live performance and participation.

The charity has ambitious plans for the future. We will continue to invest in the beautiful Theatre Royal Winchester. With the absence of Arts Council England National Portfolio funding, we will be transitioning to a new structure and funding model for future Hat Fair festivals. Through our engagement projects we will continue to have impact on our local community both in central Winchester and the wider district.

The Fundraising Manager role will be vital in:

• Helping to develop a sustainable fundraising model to secure future Hat Fair festivals

Job Description

In financial year 2025-26, PCR’s virtual challenges have raised over £2m so far (against a target of £1.4m) with still one more big challenge to go! We are thrilled at the impact this will have for families affected by prostate cancer, and are therefore excited to be expanding the Events & Community team again with this new role.

The Supporter Engagement Assistant will be at the frontline of our virtual challenges stewardship, supporting a rapidly growing supporter base and delivering exceptional supporter experiences. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, is highly organised and is eager to develop within a supportive and ambitious fundraising team.

While your focus will be on virtual challenges, you will also gain exposure to the wider Public Fundraising portfolio, with full training and support provided.

Key Responsibilities

Supporter Care & Engagement

• Be the first point of contact for virtual challenge fundraisers, responding to enquires on email, SMS, social channels and phone within agreed timescales.

• Manage supporter relationships and high-quality fundraiser journeys using PCR’s systems and tools, providing thoughtful stewardship that builds long term loyalty.

• Work with the team to continuously improve supporter experience using feedback and data

• Create and maintain FAQs, supporter resources and fundraising materials.

• Monitor acquisition advertisements and appropriately respond to comments.

Administration and database

• Manage stock, including sharing data with our fulfilment house, sending merchandise and replenishing materials.

• Process supporter and financial data accurately, including coding and tracking income & expenditure.

• Support database administration in line with data protection needs.

Teamwork

• Actively contribute to meetings, sharing new ideas and learnings.

• Work with the team to embed our ‘agile’ ways of working, where we all take collective responsibility for the team’s goals and work together to achieve them.

• Be flexible in busy times, getting involved with other projects and tasks across Public Fundraising team as needed.

• Attendance will be required at some weekend and evening events, for which TOIL will be given.

Skills and Competencies

Our ideal candidate would have the following:

• A willingness to get stuck in, proactive problem-solving skills and lots of initiative.

• Very good written and verbal communication skills – the ability to communicate clearly, empathetically, and professionally with a diverse range of people, particularly supporters and patients

• Very good attention to detail (e.g. with data entry tasks) and good IT skills (e.g. web applications and file systems).

• Excellent organisation skills and an ability to identify the best use of time to complete day-to-day tasks.

• Work effectively individually and as part of a team.

• A belief in PCR’s work, goals and our values: innovation, collaboration, accountability and empathy.

Desirable:

• Demonstrable or transferable experience of an administrative or support role, within an office environment.

• Experience working with a CRM system and Microsoft 365 applications (Word, Excel, Outlook etc.).

• A good understanding or interest in events & community fundraising activities

• Ability to handle and process financial transactions.

• Knowledge of the Fundraising Code of Practice and data protection principles (including GDPR & confidentiality).

• Experience assisting with event administration or logistics.

• Experience using social media and digital communication tools (e.g. Miro/MURAL, Canva etc).
