About the role:
At the heart of Camden’s mission to end rough sleeping, we are recruiting Project Workers across two short-stay accommodation services, with one role based at Gray’s Inn Road and one role based at the Rough Sleepers Hub Assessment Centre at 165 King’s Cross Road. Both services support people experiencing rough sleeping to move away from the streets and towards safe, sustainable housing, but each plays a slightly different role in that journey.
Gray’s Inn Road provides short-stay accommodation for 16 people, usually for three to six months. Funded by the Department of Levelling Up, Housing and Communities and the Greater London Authority, and delivered in partnership with One Housing Group and Camden Council, the service offers focused, trauma-informed support for people facing overlapping challenges including homelessness, poor physical and mental health, substance use, trauma and contact with the criminal justice system. As a Project Worker, you’ll hold a caseload, complete in-depth assessments, build tailored support plans and work alongside each person to develop practical life skills, confidence and clear pathways into longer-term housing and independence.
At 165 King’s Cross Road, the Rough Sleepers Hub Assessment Centre provides 16 beds through a shorter, assessment-led model, with planned move-on typically within 28 days. This is a fast-paced service focused on momentum, opportunity and the right next step. You’ll carry out meaningful assessments, respond to complex situations, create personalised support plans and offer practical, hands-on support around housing pathways, wellbeing, daily living skills and opportunities to access training or employment.
Whichever service you join, you’ll work in a psychologically informed and trauma-aware environment, alongside partners including Camden Routes off the Streets, Inroads, Connect Forward and the Adult Pathway. You’ll also contribute to the safe and effective running of the service, while being supported through reflective practice, high-quality training and clear development opportunities. In this role the Duty IGVA is a part of a busy team. The Duty IGVA will be the first point of contact for survivors who have been referred to the Gaia Centre by other professionals. The Duty IGVA also will be responsible for processing any self-referrals of individuals contacting the service and wishing to access support. The Duty IGVA will be responsible for responding to daily enquiries from partnership agencies, public and impacted individuals over the phone and email.
In some circumstances the Duty IGVA will be contacting survivors directly to assess their level of risk and needs to ensure eligibility. The Duty IGVA will ensure an effective handover of the case to the relevant team for ongoing support.
The Duty IGVA will empower survivors by providing them with emotional, practical and personal welfare support. About the role
CoramBAAF’s membership is central to the organisation’s aims and activities. Tabard Court is a mental health supported accommodation for individual with significant offending histories and complex mental health needs.
What you'll do:
1. Keyworking, Support Planning & Recovery
? Hold a keyworking caseload (typically 4-6 customers), meeting each customer regularly for structured keywork sessions focused on mental health, risk, daily living skills and recovery goals.
? Complete and regularly review support plans, risk management plans and crisis plans with customers and the wider team, ensuring they are meaningful, co-produced and linked to clear, achievable outcomes.
2. Risk Management & Safeguarding
? Undertake initial and ongoing assessments of risk and need, including dynamic risk indicators
(e.g. changes in behaviour, non-engagement, relapse indicators), and escalate concerns promptly.
3. Day-to-day Support & Service delivery
? Provide practical support with daily living skills (e.g. budgeting, shopping, appointments, selfcare, routines) to enable customers to build independence and sustain their accommodation.

About you:
Experience & Knowledge
? NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent
? Experience of working with people with significant mental health needs, ideally in forensic or criminal justice settings (secure services, probation, prison, step-down or similar).
? Understanding of recovery-oriented practice and trauma-informed approaches in mental health.
? Awareness of risk assessment and risk management processes in forensic mental health (e.g. working with index offences, relapse indicators, safeguarding, conditions of discharge or licence).
? Experience of keyworking or case management, including multi-agency liaison and report writing.
? Comfortable working in a structured environment with policies, procedures and clear documentation standards, while remaining flexible and responsive to individual need.

The Head of Learning leads Impact on Urban Health’s approach to turning evidence into organisational insight, learning and influence. The role is responsible for building the systems, practices and products that help us synthesise what we are learning from programmes, innovation, place-based work, evaluation, research, lived experience and external evidence, and use that learning to shape strategy, funding, delivery and external influence. Working closely with the Head of Data and Evaluation, the role ensures evidence is not only generated to a high standard, but actively interpreted, shared and applied. In doing so, the role contributes to Impact on Urban Health’s reputation as a credible and trusted voice on urban health and health equity.
This role will provide senior leadership for how IoUH learns from its work, makes sense of evidence, and turns insight into action. The postholder will be expected to bring structure, judgement and momentum to a developing function, helping the organisation move from generating evidence to using it consistently and well.
The postholder will also provide expert input to other parts of the Foundation where relevant.
