Working with housing associations and other local partners, we run free tutoring programmes for primary school children and their families, providing access to vital educational support to those who need it most. We're proud to serve diverse, low-income, refugee, migrant, and multilingual communities across London and Liverpool. We hire, train, and pay inspiring university students – most of whom also come from low-income, Asian and Black households – as tutors, providing them with meaningful, paid work experience and support to boost their careers.
Each year, our work gives hundreds of young people, parents and carers the knowledge, skills and confidence they need to maximise education and employment opportunities. With a member of staff taking a 12-month sabbatical from August 2026, we have a brilliant Programme Officer position available for an ambitious, dedicated, and proactive person to join our team!
Job Description
The Programme Officer will be responsible for the management and overall delivery of their designated programmes.This role will involve managing relationships with tutors, parents and clients, while collecting robust qualitative and quantitative data to measure the impact and build the success of our work. This is a critical role, leading on the delivery and evaluation of multiple programmes, managing key stakeholder relationships, and contributing to the sustainability and growth of our work in a challenging funding climate.
This role will be focused on our growing work in Lewisham, a priority area for TU with high need, multi-year commitment from a range of partners, and incredible family engagement. Working alongside local schools, livery companies, and housing providers, the Programme Officer will be tasked with continuing to develop and expand our work in the borough, in line with our three-year strategic plan for the borough.

About Wikimedia UK
A registered charity, Wikimedia UK is the national chapter of the global Wikimedia movement. We work with volunteers, communities and partners across the UK to build and improve Wikipedia and other Wikimedia projects, so that everyone can access and contribute to reliable, open knowledge. We empower people to find, use, evaluate, and communicate information online and we advocate for a digital ecosystem that is open, equitable and democratic.
Background:
Programme Coordinators at Wikimedia UK lead on partnership work, relationship development, training delivery and volunteer support, usually within particular geographic or topic areas. We are looking to recruit for a fixed-term, two-year role to deliver and develop our activities in Scotland, and support the wider Programmes team in delivering UK-wide work. For example in 2026, we are planning celebration events across the country for Wikipedia’s 25th, and the post-holder may be involved in their delivery. Apart from the delivery focus on Scotland, there will be scope to get involved with other areas of Wikimedia UK’s programmatic work such as delivering training in other parts of the UK, or supporting minoritised languages (particularly the indigenous languages of the UK), depending on programmatic needs.
We have had dedicated staff support for activity in Scotland for nearly a decade, and have several successful and ongoing partnerships with a number of educational and cultural institutions, as well as community organisations. Whilst the focus of this role is primarily on Scotland, Wikimedia UK delivers work both nationally and internationally, and the post holder would be expected to hold a portfolio which contributes to and supports this.
This is a part time post and can be based anywhere in Scotland, and there is an expectation of travel, including quarterly meetings at our office in London. Some evening and weekend work should also be expected, for which Time Off In Lieu can be taken. Successful post holders of similar roles in the organisation are skilled in advocacy, creative thinking, and project planning.
Purpose of job: To lead the delivery of Wikimedia UK’s activities in Scotland, by developing and running projects with partner institutions, involving and empowering volunteers, and delivering training, as well as supporting programmatic work outwith Scotland.
Main Duties

Person Specification
Essential:

About the role
As Senior Partnerships Communications Officer, you will be the communications lead for CARE’s growing portfolio of corporate, trust, foundation and philanthropic partnerships. As Senior Monitoring and Evaluation Officer, you’ll play a central role in helping us understand and demonstrate the real difference our work makes. You’ll manage the development and delivery of monitoring and evaluation frameworks for our Health Equity, Services and Improvement directorate, ensuring we can track our progress against Prostate Cancer UK’s new strategy with confidence. As part of the Data and Evidence team, you’ll bring together data and insight to tell a clear story about our impact for men and the wider healthcare system.
In this role, you’ll design practical, meaningful ways to measure success, from shaping our key performance indicators to strengthening how we collect and use data over time. You’ll draw on information from multiple sources to build a joined-up view of our activity, and use clear, engaging data visualisation to bring your findings to life. You’ll also support reporting to boards and committees, presenting evidence in a way that is accessible, relevant and supports good decision-making.
You’ll work closely with colleagues across the organisation, helping them evaluate their work and feel more confident using data in their day-to-day roles. By championing a culture of evidence-based decision making and continuous learning, you’ll help teams see the value of monitoring and evaluation and use it to improve what they do.
Alongside this, you’ll keep a strong overview of activity across the directorate, using data and insight to spot trends, highlight opportunities and drive improvements. You’ll also contribute to the ongoing development of our data and insight approach, helping us strengthen the quality, consistency and impact of how we evaluate and report on our work.
What we want from you
You’ll bring strong expertise in monitoring, evaluation and learning, with experience of applying approaches such as theory of change, outcome harvesting and logic models in practice. You’ll be skilled at evaluating public health or similar programmes, with a strong understanding of impact measurement and the ability to work with both qualitative and quantitative data. Experience in data visualisation is important, and familiarity with tools like Tableau or Power BI would be a bonus.
You’ll be comfortable designing surveys and using a range of data collection techniques, alongside a good understanding of UK health data sources. Just as importantly, you’ll be able to communicate complex findings in a clear and engaging way, helping others understand what the data is telling us and why it matters.
You’ll be well organised, with strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills, able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. You’ll enjoy working collaboratively across teams, building strong relationships and supporting colleagues to use data with confidence in their day-to-day work.

How and where we work
Colleagues attend the office at least four days per month (pro rata for part-time colleagues) to collaborate, build relationships, and support projects and decision-making. You can choose where to work the rest of the time. Travel to the office is a commute, so we pay our own travel costs.
Additional in-person attendance will be required during your first few months for induction and training, to support you to learn the role and get to know colleagues.

About the role
As our Communications and Marketing Officer, you'll help bring the South East Rivers Trust's work to life. From restoring rivers and wetlands to engaging volunteers, schools and communities, you'll tell the stories behind our projects and help connect more people with the work we do.
This is a varied and hands-on role where no two days are the same. One day you might be creating social media content from a river restoration project, the next writing a newsletter, supporting a fundraising campaign, updating the website or helping promote a community event.
You'll work closely with our Digital Marketing and Communications Manager and colleagues across the Trust to deliver engaging campaigns that grow awareness, increase engagement and support fundraising efforts.
This is also an exciting opportunity to help shape our developing digital fundraising activity. We're looking for someone who enjoys bringing ideas to the table, testing new approaches and helping us build stronger relationships with supporters.
What a typical week might look like
Writing social media posts showcasing a river restoration project that has improved habitats for wildlife.
Interviewing a volunteer or project officer and turning their story into a website article, newsletter feature or case study.
Creating graphics and campaign content using Canva.
Updating project pages and news stories on our WordPress website.
Reviewing social media, email and website analytics to understand what's working and identify opportunities for improvement.
Supporting the promotion of a fundraising appeal, challenge event or community campaign.
Attending a project site, volunteer day or community event to capture photos, videos and interviews for our channels.
Working with colleagues across the organisation to plan upcoming campaigns and communications activity.
Helping develop supporter journeys that encourage people to donate, volunteer, attend events or learn more about their local river.
About you
You'll be a confident communicator who enjoys creating content and finding new ways to engage audiences.
You may already be working in a communications, marketing or fundraising role, or perhaps you've gained relevant experience through volunteering, community projects or campaigning.

Working closely with the Philanthropy Managers, and the Trust Lead, you will lead the teams to secure, and grow, vital funding from philanthropic and trust sources to support the welfare of dogs and cats across the UK and internationally. The role currently leads a team of 7, which will continue to develop over the coming years.
The postholder will drive forward the Philanthropy & Trusts strategy as well as oversee KPI development and measurement, and budgets for the teams. The role is also responsible for growing the prospect and donor pools for both Philanthropy & Trusts and ensuring that the team’s donor development plans reflect best practice in cultivation, solicitation and stewardship.
The post will work closely with colleagues across the organisation, but in particular with the Head of Philanthropy, Partnerships & Commercial, the Senior Corporate & Commercial Partnerships Manager, the Senior Fundraising Operations Manager and the Special Events & Stewardship Manager, to collaborate on joint projects and ensure contacts are shared to maximise all opportunities.

The role:
The Senior Grants Manager will play a leading role in the design, assessment and management of our funding programmes. This role will make a significant contribution to the delivery of the Trust’s objectives. The primary aim of this role is to bring senior grant-making expertise and knowledge to the team, in addition to growing the Trust’s expertise in the field of youth mental health.
This is an opportunity to work with and support a wide range of organisations, individuals. It will involve designing and delivering funding calls, managing relationships with grantees and exercising sound judgement, whilst capturing learning to inform future decision making and strategy. There will also be an important database and reporting aspect to this role, where accuracy and process management expertise will be essential.
The role is full-time and will be primarily office based at lovely offices in Central London.
The person:
The successful candidate will have substantial grant-making experience alongside previous exposure to the thematic aspects of the Trust’s work on young people’s mental health and wellbeing. Exposure to research and/or impact measurement tools and methodologies will also be very useful.
This role would be suited to an adept grant‑maker who brings strong sector awareness and is energised by continuously deepening their understanding of youth mental health. Thoughtful, analytical and highly organised, this person will be a collaborative self-starter in addition to having excellent communication skills.
Team work, professionalism and accuracy are all keys to success in this role so evidence of having worked in high paced and busy teams, in similar areas of work will be very important, in addition to being able to work independently and to manage your own time.
